Jets are doing jets related things also... THE KNICKS.
SecondHandJets Icon : (Today, 12:04 AM) Now I gotta drop $30 for a burger with fries
SecondHandJets Icon : (Today, 12:04 AM) You know what I do? Not go to the fuckin games LOL
SecondHandJets Icon : (Today, 12:04 AM) And it's not just me because the Mets suck, Yankees can't sell out anymore at all
SecondHandJets Icon : (Today, 12:04 AM) Shit, even Mets vs Yankees wasn't sold out
SecondHandJets Icon : (Today, 12:04 AM) That never happened in the 90s
santana Icon : (Today, 12:04 AM) ghetto fries
santana Icon : (Today, 12:05 AM) whats amusing is at nationals stadium the staff is the worst
santana Icon : (Today, 12:05 AM) they don't give a shit
santana Icon : (Today, 12:05 AM) specially sunday morning
SecondHandJets Icon : (Today, 12:06 AM) How so?
SecondHandJets Icon : (Today, 12:06 AM) Do they make you watch the Nationals?
santana Icon : (Today, 12:06 AM) every time they handed me my food or what not then i had to go to the register to pay i just walked away because the queue was too long
santana Icon : (Today, 12:06 AM) people running the registers just go super slow
santana Icon : (Today, 12:07 AM) no one there is in charge of making sure the customers are following the process
SecondHandJets Icon : (Today, 12:11 AM) Wait, you pay after you get your food?
SecondHandJets Icon : (Today, 12:11 AM) How does that even work?
SecondHandJets Icon : (Today, 12:11 AM) Everywhere you pay when you place your order
santana Icon : (Today, 12:12 AM) well its decided getting some booze tomorrow afternoon and drinking every time i head lebron's head band referenced
santana Icon : (Today, 12:12 AM) like i said the concession stands are a mess
SecondHandJets Icon : (Today, 12:12 AM) You might die
santana Icon : (Today, 12:12 AM) there were multiple people behind the counter
santana Icon : (Today, 12:13 AM) so you could just go up to it and ask for what you wanted and 1 out of the 5 people would be on a single register
santana Icon : (Today, 12:13 AM) so eventually you were just handed your food
santana Icon : (Today, 12:13 AM) expecting for someone to approach the register you were standing infront to charge you
santana Icon : (Today, 12:13 AM) or you were led to believe maybe you had to go line up to the one that had a cashier with people already waiting on it
santana Icon : (Today, 12:14 AM) so a lot of the times when i was just handed the food i requested i would stand there look around see them go back to being distracted on their boost mobile phones or whatever reason and walked away
santana Icon : (Today, 12:14 AM) i got 6 pretzels like this for the group i was with and 3 hot dogs
santana Icon : (Today, 12:15 AM) my ticket one time had like 5$ towards concessions or what not their scanner wasnt working at the register so it wasnt reading it right or she didnt know what she was doing. she tried to scan it 3 times then litterally just turned away so i was standing there asking if it was all good no one answered so i just walked away with the food
santana Icon : (Today, 12:18 AM) probably doesn't help that they are hiring people from one of the worst parts of dc
santana Icon : (Today, 12:19 AM) in fact all the stadiums in dc are in very low income areas probably to exploit this work force
SecondHandJets Icon : (Today, 12:31 AM) No stadiums are in low income areas because that's how they get municipal bonds to finance construction. "Look, we're giving black people jobs! Pay for our stadium!!!"
santana Icon : (Today, 12:32 AM) right
HarlemHxC814 Icon : (Today, 01:48 PM) New England Patriots tight end Aaron Hernandez will face a lawsuit for allegedly shooting a man after an altercation at a Miami strip club.

TMZ.com broke news of this stunning development, as the lawsuit was filed in Florida federal court on Wednesday—five days prior to authorities searching Hernandez's Massachusetts home for an apparently unrelated homicide case.
santana Icon : (Today, 02:41 PM) A well-placed source told Paul Lukas, who writes Uni Watch for ESPN.com, that Revis paid safety Mark Barron $50,000 to get the No. 24 from the second-year safety.
Mr_Jet Icon : (Today, 04:06 PM) I've watched about 3 minutes of ESPN today and have already heard the word "headband" twice.
santana Icon : (Today, 04:13 PM) yea i'm going to get hammered
santana Icon : (Today, 05:29 PM) that left side of japan is no joke
santana Icon : (Today, 05:33 PM) damn that was so karate
santana Icon : (Today, 05:45 PM) http://i.minus.com/iqVziQ4MnbBdg.gif
Chaos Icon : (Today, 06:57 PM) James Gandolfini passed away
Chaos Icon : (Today, 06:58 PM) he was 51, suspected heart attack
santana Icon : (Today, 07:01 PM) I guess that means no soprano movie
ganggreen2003 Icon : (Today, 07:14 PM) he was also a JETS fan
Mr_Jet Icon : (Today, 07:46 PM) That's a surprising death but him dying of a heart attack is not a surprise.
SecondHandJets Icon : (Today, 09:53 PM) Anyone had him in the pool?

not really. the assignmenst of an ILB 3-4 is very similar to that of a MLB. only differnce is he will be counted on to be a QB of the defense when in pitt it was farrior anyway good chating but i'm out for tonight. i got a new game i'm dying to try out. its called still life for the xbox

the difference is about as substantial as ILB to ROLB

Yeah, Martin is going to rip our run defense to shreds. You obviously haven't watched the teams that tried to run on our first team defense this season. Shaun Alexander is a pretty good runningback, I hear... too bad he only got 7 yards after playing an entire half.

Sammy I don't like. I don't think he is that good, just a product of an excellent defense in Miami for so many years. How fast that changed!

Jerome Played very poorly last season after signing a fat contract
He was always out of position and lost his hard-hitting ability

He shouldn't have even been elected to the Pro-Bowl in 2003

Wesley also played poorly but was still better than Woods - At least he made some plays (4 INTs, 4 Forced Fumbles - most among all Safeties in the league)

After Knight was signed, Vermeil said there would be an open competition for the starting FS spot. Obviously everybody knew Wesley would win and he did

Many of us (Fans) were surprised when we cut Wilie Pile, who is a solid safety with some potential, instead of Woods

Woods potential cap hit is why he is still on the team

2005 Chiefs Safeties:
SS - Sammy Knight, William Bartee
FS - Greg Wesley, Jerome Woods

Knight only played in Miami for 2 years
He was with the Saints for the majority of his career

Knight has had 93+ Tackles in 7 of his 8 Seasons
His low was 75 in '98 when he missed 2 games with injury I assume

GregWesley, I hope you are enjoying the atmosphere here. We talk football, plain and simple. Most of us are just fans of the sport and of course we love our Jets, but hey we call them out when it calls for it as well.

I hope you are finding your time here logical and pleasant. Sorry that I wont be in your atmosphere having conversation. Seems like all I got was rudeness except from about 2 posters.

Damn you're right. I think I was thinking of the other safety, neither of their safeties are on the team anymore so maybe I was thinking of him. I can't remember the other guys name though.

I'm enjoying my time here

I'll be here all week and the beginning of next week to discuss the game

I apologize on behalf of the Coalition for the rudeness of some of our fans - I really didn't expect all that crap

I like these kinds of fans ^

These are the kind of fans that every team should have, instead of the biased fans, who think their the patriots of the last 3 out of 4 years.

Have fun during your stay here.

I've always kinda liked the Cheifs. No reason at all but I just have. I thyinik the JEts will win because of the Cheifs new defense. No team can expect to play well with so many new starters right away. If you don't believe me you'll learn fast. I also do believe the Jets have a better team, but that doesn't always mean victory. So I will stick to my theory of a high scorer with the Jets out on top.
I changed my name, but I dont remember what it was... if anyone remembers please let me know.

Yeah yeah priest sucks hes a product of a Pro Bowl line, Surtain was a product of the Miami scheme etc etc . Guys we know better than anyone that our defense sucks the big one. But this year we have added Surtain, the defensive ROY DJ (look at my sig for an example of what to espect), Knight, and Bell who is going to be healthy against you and you don't have a pushover defense anymore. And if you do still believe that see the signature bet post of mine and put your sig where your mouth is.

Eh, it doesn't look like we started off too good, I mean, we kinda started off as a bunch of assholes, over here, they;ve been respectful. Sorry Chief fans for any idotism my fellow Jets fans cost, they're a lot better than that.
