Jets are doing jets related things also... THE KNICKS.
ganggreen2003 Icon : (Yesterday, 12:04 PM) he's a completely weak-minded individual
ganggreen2003 Icon : (Yesterday, 12:04 PM) already back to doing what he did last season THROWING INT's
ganggreen2003 Icon : (Yesterday, 12:04 PM) sucks that Garrard retired but I'd rather suffer with Geno going through growing pains than keeping Sanchez under center in 2013
Jetsman05 Icon : (Yesterday, 12:33 PM) haha gg03 throwing in the towel on sanch!
mgjetman Icon : (Yesterday, 01:37 PM) What a way to make sporrts center already, Mark......
mgjetman Icon : (Yesterday, 01:39 PM) Sanch owns the #1 blooper of all time with that butt fumble also and to make matters worse he threw it right to a friggin Pat...
Jetsfan115 Icon : (Yesterday, 01:53 PM) buttfumble on thanksgiving was the low point of his career
Jetsfan0099 Icon : (Yesterday, 01:55 PM) Teammates talking shut about Sanchez
SecondHandJets Icon : (Yesterday, 02:11 PM) In case you haven't heard, because why would anyone report on the Giants, Nicks is also holding out
SecondHandJets Icon : (Yesterday, 02:11 PM) That makes both Cruz and Nicks.
SecondHandJets Icon : (Yesterday, 02:11 PM) But who cares, Sanchez threw 3 "interceptions"!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Jetsman05 Icon : (Yesterday, 02:59 PM) ?
Jetsman05 Icon : (Yesterday, 02:59 PM) why would we give a f*** about the Giants?
santana Icon : (Yesterday, 03:04 PM) gg03 jimmies are riled
SecondHandJets Icon : (Yesterday, 03:21 PM) You're not in NY. All the backpages are focused on Sanchez
SecondHandJets Icon : (Yesterday, 03:21 PM) None of the NY media even mention Cruz or Nicks
Jetsfan115 Icon : (Yesterday, 03:40 PM) nicks isn't holding out. he's injured still and taking it easy. cruz is holding out. why it isn't a big ordeal IDK. it would be for us
Jetsman05 Icon : (Yesterday, 04:02 PM) maybe because theyre not that far off.
Jetsman05 Icon : (Yesterday, 04:02 PM) Cruz wants to return back, they'll figure it out.
Jetsfan115 Icon : (Yesterday, 04:41 PM) 3 mil a year off or 30% less then cruz wants. tahst alot of money to be off
Jetsfan115 Icon : (Yesterday, 04:41 PM) cruz doens't want to leave NY cause teh extra money he'll get in endorsements plus he knows taht they can RFA him this year and then Franchise next year so he might not be able to get a LTD for 3 years
Mr_Jet Icon : (Yesterday, 05:21 PM) Clemens11/Tebow15 (soon to be Smith7) said if we had just drafted Crabtree and Nicks and kept Clemens, we'd be good.
Jetsfan0099 Icon : (Yesterday, 06:44 PM) No, he can't be Smith7
Jetsfan0099 Icon : (Yesterday, 06:44 PM) his name is reserved for garbage QBs, we don't want Geno to be bad
Jetsfan0099 Icon : (Yesterday, 06:44 PM) He can be McElroy14
extmenace Icon : (Yesterday, 06:51 PM) we're taking bridgewater next year with the number 1 pick and treating geno like a jimmy clausen.
Jetsfan0099 Icon : (Yesterday, 06:53 PM) What makes Bridgewater better than Geno?
HurricaneJet32 Icon : (Yesterday, 07:12 PM) everything
Jetsman05 Icon : (Yesterday, 07:56 PM) ^
Jetsfan0099 Icon : (Yesterday, 08:16 PM) college players always get hyped up before the draft process, just wondering what makes him so much better.
Jetsman05 Icon : (Yesterday, 08:19 PM) Stronger arm, plays in a pro system, better throwing motion, better athlete
Jetsman05 Icon : (Yesterday, 08:19 PM) there's probably nothing Geno does right now that's better than what Teddy does
SecondHandJets Icon : (Yesterday, 10:25 PM) Wouldn't it be funny with Bridgewater ends up having the type of season Barkley had?
Jetsfan0099 Icon : (Today, 07:48 AM) better athlete but never runs as well
Jetsfan0099 Icon : (Today, 07:48 AM) stronger arm but rarely throws deep
Jetsfan0099 Icon : (Today, 07:48 AM) I am trying to find this article, but Bridgewater had about the least amount of 40+ throws in college football
Jetsfan0099 Icon : (Today, 07:49 AM) I wouldn't surprise me if he wasn't viewed as highly next year. College players always get hyped up a year before the draft process. People change their opinions quickly.
Jetsman05 Icon : (Today, 07:56 AM) I'll put a good amount of money that Bridgewater is still highly regarded coming out next year.
Jetsfan0099 Icon : (Today, 08:00 AM) ok I found the chart
Jetsfan0099 Icon : (Today, 08:00 AM) Bridgewater had 0% of his passes go 40+ yards in college
Jetsfan0099 Icon : (Today, 08:02 AM) he could be, I'll wait though
Jetsfan0099 Icon : (Today, 08:02 AM) I doubt Smith will be as bad as Clausen anyways
Jetsfan0099 Icon : (Today, 08:03 AM) I remember watching Clausen in a NFL game and the guy couldn't even throw a spiral.
Jetsfan0099 Icon : (Today, 08:03 AM) Geno has been impressing teammates with how well he can spin the ball and sling it.
Jetsman05 Icon : (Today, 08:31 AM) I hope Geno turns out to be a f***ing monster

I have been at pause to give Jones any love but today I have to give him alot of love. The man had his best game of the season in my opinion.Maybe not yardage wise but stats arent everything. The man pounded the ball today with a passion and malicious intent that I havent seen from him all season. The man may have a reputation of going down easy in tackles but not today. He played smash mouth football like I havent see from him before. And even better he did it against the number one rated defense in the league.Great Job Mr. Jones. Please let this type of hard mean running continue the rest of the season. You are have been a very vauable rb this year for the team but I want more games from you like this.Fight tghe defenses like they smacked your wife! I want you pissed before every game from now on.
Once again Greay JOB!!!

You deserve your own thread for praise today. Please silence myself and your other doubters for good!!!!! yahoo.gif

You are right but in my opinion overall yards mean nothing.Nothing but a stat and a testament to the line.Kind of like Denver having all their rb`s succeed nearly every year.Anyuone can run if given good blocking. Then going elewhere and all but Portis failed.Kind of like Chads completion percentage has always been one of the best if not the best every year.Overall stats only mean something to the uneducated football fan

The way I see it what counts in a running back is the way he runs.I could care less about overall yards.I want a running back that extends plays by making first downs in short yardage situations and has the heart to break open field tackles.I have said many damn times I never had an issue with Jones speed and running ability. The man also has held the ball and rarely fumbles. My issue with him has always been his heart or maybe his leg strength in open field tackles.Apparently you arent intelligent enough to understand that.I have only said it a hundred times. You could put a receiver in the backfield and he could get 2000 yards rushing if the line blocked for him well.Barber,Lynch, and Jackson arent leading the league in yards but you name one Jets fan that wouldnt love to have any of them on the team the way they run.All I ever wanted from Jones is him to show that kind of beast. Not running like a small guy.

Jones showed alot of heart and fight today that I have been waiting for and I praised him for it...What more do you want? Have your laugh.Once again you prove you are the idiot of the site with your dumbass comments.crazy.gif

I felt TJ has been doing this all season. He played like this last week against the Pats also. Picking up hard yards, running tough and physical in the middle. Him and Leon are playing like we had envision a year ago. TJ getting the bulk of carries and getting the tough yardage and wearing a defense down. And Leon making the big plays in all phases of the game.
A lot of this can be credited to the OL though, they are outstanding this year.

I'm the dumbass? You're the one who is still saying Jones has to prove something yet he's the leading rusher in the AFC. He's been running the way he did today for the past 5 games. And b/c of some bias that you have against him you finally realize that now. I think that kind of makes you the dumbass. So I guess I'll have my laugh again at your expense. hysterical.gif hysterical.gif hysterical.gif

I love it, it's tough guys like you who just come on here and call people names b/c there is a computer screen in front of you and not the real person. I use facts to back up my arguments and you choose not to, that's the difference. You can ignore me all you want that's fine. I'm 27, played football all of my life. You're a nerd who thinks he knows football b/c of Madden video games. That's the impression I have of you. But lets put our personal feelings for each other aside, I'm still right and you're still wrong. drinks.gif
