AL east Champions will be the Yankees. Just watch once september comes the Yankees will get back Matsui and Sheffield. Also before that we might trade and get Barry Zito.
Cy Young for the AL will be Jose Contreres.

Hasn't Hudson been struggling with the Braves though - he is only 6-6 and his ERA is 4.05 the second worst in his career so far.
My predictions are:
AL East - Red Sox
Central - White Sox
West - Texas
Wildcard - Tigers (Yankees right now are 6.5 back of the White Sox who are only 0.5 back of the Tigers in the Central)
NL East - Mets
Central - Cardinals
West - Dodgers
Wildcard - Cincinatti

Yea i just looked at Hudson and Zito is better man. zito is 2 years younger too.
Hudson is a righty too and I'd have thought with the small distance to the right field wall at Yankee Stadium a lefty would be better to acquire to hamper the ability of power hitting lefties such as Ortiz and my boy Travis Hafner. IMO Zito is the better option.
Anyway, what would the Yankees use as trade bait to get either Zito or Hudson? Oakland have some decent young starting pitchers but maybe a veteran arm would get Zito?
