Fight Club, Fear & Loathing in Las Vegas, the Graduate, and Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind, Evil Dead 2...Northfork...so many good ones, can't pick one. Also love the original Night of the Living Dead, best horror movie ever.
I don't like many sports movies, but Hoosiers was really good. I love Hackman.
It isn't one of my favorites, but I saw Sin City last week and it was really cool.
And Maynard, really, did you just spell it "witch"? Come on, I know you're better than that.

To be honest, I also liked the Exercist. Even though it was supposed to be the scariest movi ever made, I found it quite funny. Like when she was walking down the stairs with her arms
, I started cracking up.

i have seen city of god and i second your recommendation, it was quite good... as far as my favorite movie... i simply can't limit it to one movie... the only thing i am willing to pop into the ol' dvd player at almost any moment is a dvd called "in their own words" its basically interviews from like 2000 or 99 (the year keyshawn was traded because they show his highlights in jets uni but he is wearing a tampa uni in the interview)
anywho it gets me so pumped for football... its emmit smith, warren sapp, troy aikman, the gaurd from denver whose name slips me right now, keyshawn, randy moss (w/ braces), aeneas williams, junior "sayouch", i think thats all... and they just talk about different aspects of playing in the nfl, its so great anyone who enjoys football will love it... i wanna go watch it right now but its back in brooklyn, but i will be watching it saturday or so when i go back...
PEACE

I got Netflix, so hopefully they will have it and check it out.I just hope it doesn't get me to pumped for football, the season doesn't start for another 5 months. And if anyone else has any good movies that aren't well known I would appreciate the recommendation, I love seeing new movies.

Favorite movies
LOTR series
Matrix series
Spiderman series
First 2 terminators
The incredibles
Carlito’s way (nobody has mentioned it. A classic with al pachino and john luguiziamo)
Casino
Who’s the man
Happy gilmors
Family guy ( I know its not a movie but it’s the best show)
I don’t mean to knock anyone down but the person who said city of god has issues. That my girlfriends favorite movie and I hate it. Its horrible. She likes it cause the senseless violence(though she won’t admit it) but the movie is crap. I have a little film class and worked on some high school movies and acting classes so I know a little about that kind of stuff and that movie has possibly the worst editing and camera angles ever. The movie looks like a rushed piece of junk and the actors were horrible. Sad cause it’s a great story that was ruined by lousy everything else. That movie had great potential. If u liked it u should check out paid in full cause it’s a similar version of it just with American actors in the city. Story line is earily similar though. I have netflix too and yes they have it. Both movies. If u want to see a good never heard of film and u like the matrix check out equilibrium. Its reall good but not one of my favorites

equilibrium was really good and did not receive a lot of attention... it is not really comparable to the matrix, i think thats crap... there is some great and amazing fight scenes, but thats the only comparison... its really like 1984 (george orwell) with fighting... good flick tho, highly recommended

I just meant the type of movie. I didn’t mean it was as good or anything. It takes a sci-fi fan to like a movie like equilibrium ad the matrix. That’s all I meant. I think the third matrix is one of the top 3 movies of all time along with the third LOTR and second spiderman.. its so hard to choose though with so many great movies. I guess I mean top 3 recent movies. If we go back there is carlitos way and goodfellas and casino and T2
