I'd be pretty freakin nervous and sayin a lot of prayers. I would wouldn't have his head after it if he missed it because of the streak he's had latley but I think we all would be pissed at him, the team, and the refs because we all know they would do something to help the Pats i mean Pricks

The person who said calm is kidding himself. You'd be frantic and you'd probably turn the TV off and just pray.

I'd be hoping for the best, yet expecting the worst...if it was against the Pats, I'd be expecting him to kick it in the wrong FG or something because the patriots have to be god's team or some shit with all those lucky plays.

I have all the confidence in the world in Nugent, but it's a 54 yard kick to advance in the playoffs I would have been nervous as hell, but I would have believed he would have made it.

Thanks for the Memories

very true. but when it's a kicker who hadn't missed a field goal since the last time his team was counting on him in the playoffs, he deserves to be scrutinized just a little.

FRom 54 yards, if I had Adam Vinaterri, I'd still crap and piss myself. When has 54 yards ever been automatic, for any kicker???

At the start of the year I'd have said slim chance of him making it but now that Nugent had a strong year and made a couple 50+ yarders I'd say nervous but decent chance of making it. I'd say the same thing for every kicker in the league, even Vinatieri if it was a 54 yarder.

I would be like, "oh thats all he has to do?" Now if it was a 65 yarder, I would panic and have Brad Smith come in to use his super human strength to nail it through!

You can't be too mad if he misses it. Remember Doug Brien? How long was that fg 37 yrds?

But i think he we will be allright. I would'nt be calm but not frantic.
