I forget to check the gaming forum. I'm loving this game though. Better than the first in every facet. I just got through the part where Drake jumps from truck to truck. Absolutely ridiculous.

there are parts where it blends from a cinematic scene right into gameplay so flawlessly. ur right its waay better than the first. the hand combat is pretty sweet too

man thats tough. if u can get the first one real cheap then get it, but i'd just get the second one otherwise.

I say you get both, simply because it's worth knowing what the big deal is all about with this one. The first one really set the tone that'll make you appreciate this one more.

ive only done this once but it works out
if you want games on the cheap specially some first player game u just plan on running through and then put on the shelf. grab the cheapest used copy off ebay or amazon. if it arrives and works well its win. if it arrives scratched and unplayable.. go grab a used copy from game stop flip the disc.. then return it or exchange it for another game.

just beat it lol game is simply amazing. yo santana i do something like that with controllers at walmart. i buy a new one, clean the old one up really good and then put it in the packaging and return it. i havent paid for a controller since i bought my system. lol works everytime. just beat it tonight if anyone wants to buy i'll sell for 40 and i'll pay shipping within NY

i've pus the original sixaxis controllers in the packages for the new ds3's. just got a fresh one last week. the old ladies at walmart dont kno the difference

Sony hans't chaned its controller really since 1995 when the 1st PS came out lol. they need to update it in my opinion

lofl they have changed it over the years. only the shape has slightly changed.
i like the consistency sony has kept. they update the features and buttons on it but it still feels familiar in your hands. which is great.
plus there are alternatives



its weird that you cant find a xbox controller shaped like a ps3 controller probably some where out there
i know i saw someone mold one on some xbox forums it was cool

that controller was horrid
but i call bull shit on some of these new innovative controllers

i swear a console maker does this on purpose sometimes.. they put out a horrible controller at launch with their console.. label it as innovative.. make everyone suffer for it for about a second.. then resell you a better one

sega saturn did it

You'd think Microsoft would've known better after the Dreamcast debacle. Word in the backalleys of gaming was that Dreamcast was basically a beta Xbox, partially funded by Microsoft to gauge gamer reactions.

That's kind of interesting.
I know dreamcast's kernel ran on microsoft windows CE..
they worked in conjunction to have this implemented in their systems.. but i doubt they received funding to get it done. I mean it might be possible sega was guinea pigged so that windows ce could possibly become a foundation for consoles..

I doubt it was a "beta" xbox but i could see why it was viewed that way.
Microsoft deff made sega jump ship from the hardware market. Sega was just too small to keep up with Sony, MS, and Nintendo. Moving their focus to software has kept them alive.
