Fair points there but what's missing is your opinion on Schottenheimer. Do you want him to be your next HC? If not, who do you want and why not Schottenheimer?

I wouldn't want him as the HC. I think the team is going in the wrong direction. They need to hire a strong GM, and then go find a coach that he can work with. But since they're obviously not doing that, then I would hope they go after an offensive minded coach. I think they are, being that they just gave Capers an extension a few days ago.

I don't see Schottenheimer as the best choice, but considering the selection out there it just may happen. I would rather have him than Martz, Carroll, and Cameron. I think Cameron would only be great here if he brought LT along with him. I mean, you put LT on a field, and how can you not make every play look sensational?

Didn't the Owner say he was going to get a "proven winner"? Schotty is no where near being called a proven winner.
