SecondHandJets Icon : (24 May 2013 - 09:25 PM) I've read a ton of articles and all had him as the favorite
SecondHandJets Icon : (24 May 2013 - 09:25 PM) Who was the favorite then?
SecondHandJets Icon : (24 May 2013 - 09:27 PM) "Smith was already going to be on most Heisman preseason lists, but a 407-yard, 6-TD performance in the Orange Bowl win over Clemson only solidified him as an elite passer. He can make every throw on the field and has a plethora of talented receivers coming back. Since this team will likely be playing in the Big 12, which has had the uncanny knack for inflating quarterback numbers recently, Smith and head coach Dana Holgorsen are going to leave opposing defenses charred and crippled on most Saturdays."
SecondHandJets Icon : (24 May 2013 - 09:27 PM) That's from a Jan 2012 article
SecondHandJets Icon : (24 May 2013 - 09:27 PM) You can google shit from 14 months ago and find a f*** ton of these

SecondHandJets Icon : (24 May 2013 - 09:32 PM) He was 4th according to Vegas odds in April 2012
Jetsman05 Icon : (24 May 2013 - 09:53 PM) 4th makes him the favorite?
Jetsman05 Icon : (24 May 2013 - 09:53 PM) you said he was the favorite
Jetsman05 Icon : (24 May 2013 - 09:53 PM) he wasn't anything near the favorite
Jetsman05 Icon : (24 May 2013 - 09:54 PM) he reached his pinnacle in the heisman race in the early part of last season
Jetsman05 Icon : (24 May 2013 - 09:54 PM) at that point he was the favorite
Jetsman05 Icon : (24 May 2013 - 09:56 PM) also, what a basketball game
MikeGangGree... Icon : (24 May 2013 - 10:21 PM) 4 point game
MikeGangGree... Icon : (24 May 2013 - 10:21 PM) maybe the pacers are that good
SecondHandJets Icon : (Yesterday, 12:36 AM) I said that his time last year, he was the favorite. I misspoke. He was 3rd or 4th. He certainly wasn't "not even in the 2nd tier" like you claimed
SecondHandJets Icon : (Yesterday, 12:36 AM) Take your medicine Matty
SecondHandJets Icon : (Yesterday, 12:36 AM) Maybe you should watch more college football instead of talking about watching college football
Jetsman05 Icon : (Yesterday, 06:46 AM) No he wasn't 3rd or 4th
Jetsman05 Icon : (Yesterday, 06:47 AM) He was the 4th favorite in vegas, making him no where near the favorite
Jetsman05 Icon : (Yesterday, 06:47 AM) Barkley had 3/2 odds, Geno was 9-1
Jetsman05 Icon : (Yesterday, 06:48 AM) It's whatever
Jetsfan0099 Icon : (Yesterday, 10:50 AM) Manish leaving jets beat
Jetsfan0099 Icon : (Yesterday, 10:51 AM) About time
SecondHandJets Icon : (Yesterday, 11:22 AM) Was he "not even in the 2nd tier"? No. STFU
Jetsman05 Icon : (Yesterday, 11:25 AM) Was he the favorite?
Jetsman05 Icon : (Yesterday, 11:26 AM) Or even close to the favorite?
Jetsman05 Icon : (Yesterday, 11:27 AM) Nice Manish leaving? Good shit
HarlemHxC814 Icon : (Yesterday, 11:43 AM) SHJ, your boy EJ leads a very sad life

We will. Just you wait.

Then I'm done here. But mark my words, if the Yankees fail to make the playoffs, this entire thread is going to shoved right into your face.

Worry about your own team, you should be worrying about if the Mets are gonna make the playoffs not whether the Yankees are. I hate people who are more of Yankee haters then a fan of their own team. Worry about what the Marlins, Astros, and Phillies are doing. Mets need some real fans, instead of people who hate the Yanks so they cheer for the Mets.

My team is currently in the lead of the NL Wild Card race. And they're doing it without the highest payroll in baseball.

I didn't criticize the best team in baseball. The best team is the Cardinals. I'm criticizing the Yankee$, you know, the team with the highest payroll in baseball that's clinging to the wild card. They have yet to prove me wrong so I don't know where you're getting that idea.

Ok you are a Phillies fan, not a Mets fan. But still worry about your own team, its not like you are running away with the wild card, when was the last time the Phillies even made the playoffs? So instead of critizing a team because they have a high payroll, and saying we are havent done anything in a distant past, remember who your team is the Phillies!

having trouble? i believe we are leading the wild card and by the end of the regular season we will take our rightful place on top of the AL east when we spank the boston red sux!

When I raise my flashing sword and my hand takes hold on judgment, I will take vengeance upon mine enemies and I will repay those who haze me. O Lord, raise me to Thy right hand, and count me among Thy saints.

lol guys, ok JetsohFive is a Phillies fan, and their getting the job done in the NL, probably will make the playoffs, so idk whats with all the Mets jokes at him, no Mets fans in this thread so far........

But everyone needs to look at more than the money, becuase weather or not theyre paied the most, we have the best players, and since they were all just thrown onto a team with no chemistry at all, we started off bad, If I'm not mistaken, we were 9 games out at one point, I believe if we were to win the divison that'd be the 2nd best comeback to the 1978 Yankees who came from 12 back to win it(ask mr Bucky Dent). but after being 9 out, weve been in and been tied in the Wild card numorus times, were in 1st in the divison for a day or so, and have been sitting comfortably in 2nd for months now.......understand people, we were tied for and in 5th place for a while, so weather were paied 900,000 or 200,000,000....thats a great comeback...and now while the Yankees struggled in the begging of the season, he Sox are doing the same in the end, and say what you want to me, but if the Yankees win the division, that means their a better team THIS ENTIRE season than the sox, and don't say only cuz the Sox slumped in the end, cuz we slumped in the start, they cancell each other out, well just have to see...

I like JetsOhFive, he is one of my favorite posters, I agree with almost everything he has to say. It just sucks thats he is a Yankee hater. I think the Marlins or Astos will win the wild card but the Philiies have a good shot too, Brett Myers is a Cy Young of the future, he has the best right handed curve ball in the league, and when it gets to the ninth the game is over with Wagner, and there offense is pretty good to with Burell, Thome, and Utley, but I just think the Marlins and Astros has to good of a starting rotation to not pass the Phillies, but I have seen crazier things before. So good luck to you JetsohFive.
