So I said OK come get me nad bring me to the court house. (they are required in AZ to do so if requested). Needless to say I was excused.

How's that? He said Willie Mays was the best PLAYER. PLAYER, implying that he did more than just hit. Well, so did Ruth. Find me another player who has a career 2.28 ERA and hit 100 home runs, let alone 714. By the way, he also pitched 29 consecutive scoreless innings in the world series.

Yeah, PLAYER. Some things Ruth was better at (pitching) and some things Mays was better at (fielding). Like I said yesterday every great player from different eras benefited from their eras one way or another. It's all a matter of opinion really and I doubt anybody is going to change somebody else's opinion here.
