@DWAZ73 : One other thing: Idzik now has landed arguably No. 1 QB, RB and WR in free agency this offseason despite deliberate approach. #Jets
santana Icon : (Yesterday, 03:22 PM) Very cool
HarlemHxC814 Icon : (Yesterday, 03:24 PM) FIRE IDZIK
Jetsfan115 Icon : (Yesterday, 03:32 PM) still need another WR
Jetsfan115 Icon : (Yesterday, 03:33 PM) so i bet powell barely gets any touches this year and goodson gets cut
azjetfan Icon : (Yesterday, 03:34 PM) Goodson is as good as gone.
azjetfan Icon : (Yesterday, 03:34 PM) With all his legal issues and coming off injury he is done. Possibly even in the NFL
Jetsfan0099 Icon : (Yesterday, 03:39 PM) Powell is average anyways.
Chaos Icon : (Yesterday, 03:39 PM) @ProFootballTalk 5m

Per source, Chris Johnson's two-year deal has a base value of $8 million, with another $1 million available in incentives based on yardage.
Jetsfan0099 Icon : (Yesterday, 03:40 PM) He does a lot of things well, but isn't talented enough. Johnson has breakaway ability still and Ivory is man beast running the football
Jetsfan0099 Icon : (Yesterday, 03:41 PM) We will get another WR in the draft. Even in round 2 you can get a starting WR
azjetfan Icon : (Yesterday, 04:09 PM) I am still standing by my CB in the first round and WR in the second prediction
santana Icon : (Yesterday, 05:19 PM) The title race is bale
azjetfan Icon : (Yesterday, 05:34 PM) Sidney rice coming in for a visit
Jetsfan0099 Icon : (Yesterday, 05:49 PM) I think the Jets are getting themselves ready to draft best player available
Jetsfan0099 Icon : (Yesterday, 05:49 PM) Last year they stuck to their board
HarlemHxC814 Icon : (Yesterday, 06:27 PM) if they sign him I think that means they look to take a CB round 1
2JBallar01 Icon : (Yesterday, 06:32 PM) “@AdamSchefter: RB Chris Johnson's 2-year deal with Jets has a team option in it for year two. Jets have option to pick up year two at $4M in February 2015.”
Jetsfan0099 Icon : (Yesterday, 06:51 PM) @AlbertBreer 2m
Sidney Rice has agreed to terms with the Seahawks on a one-year deal, per source.

can you not understand the term develop smith plus the things he is good at are natural gifts that you have or you don't his weaknesses have nothing to do with ability and since when do wr's need arm strength

Poise and the ability to read defenses are natural gifts...if they weren't why isn't Vick the best QB in the league? He has great arm strengh and speed out the wazoo...but he can't read defenses that well. It's the gift Peyton Manning has...

If you can't see that...you don't understand football...or life for that matter...

Tony Hunt has moves man. I he isn't blazing fast, but he could break the long one anytime. He is also alot quicker than people give him credit for. His strengths are running between the tackles, but he's pretty much the whole package. Future Hall Of Famer? Maybe not. But successful pro who could compliment Leon? Yea, I think so.

QUOTE
Pos: Athletic prospect whose play has recently leveled off at the quarterback position. Possesses a live arm, zips passes into targets or easily makes the throw on the move. Sets up with solid footwork, looks downfield and drives passes with a flick of the rest. Picks up a lot of yardage with his legs. Puts touch on throws when necessary.

Neg: Must significantly improve his downfield accuracy and overall pass placement. Not poised under pressure, incorrectly reads the defense and forces the ball into coverage.

u may have explained this before....but whats the fetish with brad smith anyway...he will be a good player for us...maybe better than randel el is....but he is going to be that type of player...he MIGHT be able to help us replace coles in 2-3 years and I think he can be a good #3 WR this year...the flexibility he gives us is awesome and i really like him as a player....but why the obsession thinking he can rule the world??

FINALLY!!!! A REAL BIG BOY!!!

i took poise in another sense of the word but you can teach a guy to not have happy feet and read defenses a lot of that comes with experiance. Its dumb to say a rookie cant improve anyway i backed up that he was compared to mcnabb so ya im not the only one who thinks brad smith could play qb

You didn't back up anything...you never showed an written proof of any comparison to McNabb. Even if you did read it...doesn't make it fact.

You're really starting to piss me off...seriously...if you love Brad Smith so much learn something from his example of not bitching about the position switch even though he would rather play QB. He is a smart man who has taken it all in stride and stepped into a role for his team. He has a chance to be very successful as a WR...so instead of bitching about him NOT being a QB...start supporting him being a WR...OK!!!???

I don't think he is the QB of now. And i just don't see why everyone is so dead set against him at QB, when all he did was good when he played it. He's proven just as much if not more than Kellen and so for you all to keep and open mind would be nice if you can do that I will too.

You are absolutely right. This is why everyone should stop bitching because Brad Smith was drafted as the QB of the future in the second round and Clemens was only drafted in the FOURTH ROUND not as a QB but a WIDE RECIEVER!!!

Oh wait...

brad smith is NOT gonna be our qb he is a WR playing qb in the nfl is alot different then playing in college. There are a lot of good college qb that were not good in the nfl like ryan leaf, joey harrinton and tim couch to name a few.
