That have an xbox360 bundle on sale for $2,000 carzy huh.
The system looks so damn hot. The elder scrolls 4 looks like a must have but the more I think about it considering my lack of time to even play games is it worth the 400$ and 60$ each game?

Tell me about it but here's something to consider. If you are thinking of getting it get it now. Becasue after a year or so they will start putting in generic parts. Every company does it. They have their best unit's at launch time then after a year or 2 they start putting cheaper parts in it. I't also depends how much of video game fanatic you are as well. I really don't have time either but I'll probably get it reguardless. I know there will be times that I will have to play it so why wait untill then when I could be finacially strapped. I fork out the dough.

actually sdubb its the other way around. the launch unit always have bugs in it. the better units are the later ones.
the 1st xbox had the following issues i've heard of
1 the electrical cord would burn
2 the cd rom drive was defective and wouldn't play newer games or dual layer games
3 the sound cards were defective
i had 2 xbox break due to defects. luckily one got repaired for free. the other one i had to replace

I beg to differ. They always put their best unit's out first. They cannot prevent the mass quanity of Xbox's from having mechanical isses or what have you. Thats why the price of the unit drops as well. Yea they can have sales on these items but after a while they downgrade the systems and sell them cheaper. I'll find you the artical I was reading on this not to long ago.

If you could that’d be great. I’d really want to read that. however historically from my experience and knowledge it’s the other way around here’s why.
First system makers look to make money off of games more then the systems themselves.
Secondly the first gen everything always has bugs, look at cars with recalls systems etc. my first xbox had a sound card issue. My 2nd one has the faulty Thompson drive. When MS noticed the drives they bought were faulty they switched to different drives. Also they can drop the price cause the rule is as proceesore speed doubles the price halves every 6 months. What that means is the same processor the xbox has now will be half the price for the systems that come out 6 months from now so they can charge less.
Just a few insights
