Chaos Icon : (Today, 09:14 AM) @Bischoff_Scott: Per a source, the #Lions are having discussions about moving #Suh before the draft to move up as high as possible in the first round.
Chaos Icon : (Today, 09:14 AM) now that would be a fairly big move
Jetsfan0099 Icon : (Today, 09:46 AM) If they trade Suh to get Watkins, I would laugh. That doesn't really make their team better, they already have a high yardage passing attack
Jetsfan0099 Icon : (Today, 09:47 AM) They have the best WR in football and they signed Tate who will be a excellent #2 to Johnson
Jetsfan0099 Icon : (Today, 09:53 AM) too many smokes screens. f*** the extra 2 weeks of this shit, the draft should be tonight!
Jetsfan0099 Icon : (Today, 01:04 PM) The media is so dumb, Jon Gieger Revis' best friend tweets a pic from the Jets website and says it's revis, and all of the media goes along with it making fun of the Jets when it was really Jeremy Kerleyr.

Ray Lewis is looking like the Jets next target , they just set up a meeting with Ray's agent .

Two interesting rumors floating around , is that the Jets might actually sign Lewis then offer David Harris to Cleveland (Mangini Loves Him) Braylon Edwards Anyone?

Stay tuned.....

I know Harris had a down year but come on...
Unless they're planning on drafting an ILB like Laurinaitis I don't like this move.

How did the steelers win the SB? By trading for old players or keeping a young gun who hasn't reached his prime yet? I will be pissed if Harris is traded. I'm all for bring Ray Lew in but Harris HAS TO stay.

Wow...this could get interesting.

I would have no problem with this. I actually was thinking that Harris might not fit Rex style of 3-4. Don't get me wrong...he is a "good player"......but this is a different 3-4 then Mangini ran.

but if we could somehow swing :

Harris & a 3rd or 4th to the Browns for Edwards & Derek Anderson.........that would be VERY interesting AND an absolute steal. Lets throw in E. Smith since Mangini wants to bone that dude...and call it day

If Tannebaum's plan is :

D. Anderson replaces Favre
B Edwards replaces Coles
Keomeatu replaces Moore
Ray Lewis replaces D. Harris
B Scott replaces Barton
Leonhard replaces Elam/Smith
Greer replaces Law

...i can't see how we can afford all that...but on paper...MAJOR upgrade from last year

Hey I know everybody is freaking out right now, but if the plan is to draft a young guy like Laurinaitis this is a great move. I don't think the Jets would trade a guy as important as Harris without a plan.

He may not be as important as you think in Raven's style 3-4. Have to take that into consideration. And if he could return a TRUE #1 WR and a potential starting QB.....that could be nice

From what I understand, those tidbits from Erik Boland were done by an impostor. We need official links at this point.

Anderson signed a big contract last offseason...and would be bringing it with him. Don't see that happening in any way..

I dont think this will actually happen. They just traded Windslow and if they trade edwards.. Who are they going to throw too? Windslow and Edwards are their 2 big targets

as much as i love harris, this move would give us the best team. the alternative woudl be isgn TJ to big money and keep harris. we have a hole at WR edwards will fill, we could offer harris if we get lewis. lewis is better then harris. I'd rather offer bryan thomas though and move scott to OLB
Get it done MT

I dunno if this could happen with Winslow gone, i mean i know Mangini is stupid but comon.

And if Edwards comes to us he needs to work on catching the ball more and limiting the drips, But least hes a deep threat that makes big plays.

this is more than interesting. I am a big fan of harris but we all know that Edwards has the ability to be a top 5 WR. If he can improve his catching and we can lock him up long term I may be all about this. Having Edwards on the team would help the running game a great deal. pretty interesting that this is the second rumor linking us to a possible trade for edwards...maybe there is actually something to this.

Oh...i think Mangini is stupid enough to try to build the team with his kind of TEAM guys. Lets not forget......we don't have anyone on this team after 3 years of Mangini that has any spark, fire, attitude, little flamboyant, etc.....Sometimes we need some of that .

Wouldn't surprise me if he dumped all the complainers in Cleveland : Rogers, Winslow (done), Edwards, etc.... that is his style....and that style is proven NOT to work.

And not for nothing.....they didn't exactly set the world on fire with Edwards, Winslow, and crew

Didn't Edwards lead the league in drops?
