Jetsfan0099 Icon : (17 May 2013 - 04:53 PM) Sounds like it may not be as bad with Goodson. I could see him ending up with a 4 game suspension for possession, the gun charges probably going to the other guy.

Jetsfan115 Icon : (17 May 2013 - 05:49 PM) i'd order a steak from idzik but he'd just give me a hamburger and try to pass it off as steak and when i cought him in the act he'd gie me a million dollars to make up for it
Jetsman05 Icon : (17 May 2013 - 05:55 PM) awesome analogy, makes a ton of sense

Rivera was unhittable in the 11th last night. Personally I wouldn't have given Andy Phillips as the MVP for yesterday's match, Id have given it to Cairo for getting himself into scoring position with those two SBs and for having the guts to steal them. I know he'd have been told to do it by Torre but he came up trumps when needed. Phillips' base hit would have only moved him to third if Cairo hadn't have stolen it and it would have been a different ballgame.
Despite loathing the Yankees, I quite enjoyed the last few innings of the match.

Yes of course!!! The World Series that happened 6 years ago and has nothing to do with this season DEFINATELY matters more than the Mets winning 2 of 3 in the series that just took place and counts towards THIS SEASON'S records. Get Real.

Six years ago doesn't count now. All that matters this year is that the Metros beat the Yanks 2 of 3 over the weekend. Damn Yankees, I hate them for years and all they do is win...and the one series that I root for them in, they lose 2 out of 3 games. Go figure.

It hurt...but we still took the series...how does it feel to be acting like a Red Sox "Fan" and dissing other teams instead of just supporting your own team?

What is this crap? We're all New Yorkers here...we're all Jet fans...we just like different baseball teams. Both are good, both are looking to be in the playoffs...let's just enjoy it instead of being anti-fans.
