Ty Law dares Pats to throw his direction
Jets CB Ty Law yesterday wasn't only talking like he's a lock to play against his former team tomorrow night, he was already playfully talking trash - daring Bill Belichick to throw at him. "I would throw at me, too," Law said. "I'm just coming back, haven't played, they call me 'old man.' Hell, throw at me. That's what any smart coach would do. I relish the opportunity and look forward to the challenge." Belichick said yesterday of Law: "He's a good player. We know Ty. He's very competitive with good ball skills. You have to be careful throwing around him." -- NY Post

Did you guys hear Shaun Ellis' comments. He said something like "Stop bringing up that we keep losing to this team, maybe thats why we keep losing to them because you bring negative energy to us, I'm sick of losing to this team" He said something like that, don't know what it was word form word, but basically he told off the media for mentioning that they haven't done well against the Pats, then said how he was sick of losing to them and wants it to change.

Hopes he gets the understanding that the media is tired of them losing to the pats too. If the rest of the team can get the philosophy that we're winning this game then we will win the damn game.

Finally! Some swag!
Damn, I was getting sick of all the "They're really swell, and I'm happy to just be playing!" comments from this team.

Me and you both pimpjuice!
Now maybe some of that swag will rub off on the other guys.

I was always wondering when the term swag was going to start being used in everyday life, guess thats started up.
I think whats so exciting and stressful about this game is that we all know if we win, it wont be 40-0 or even 20-0. A Jets win vs the Pats, no matter what else happens, is always goin to be a one score game. Even if we out play them in ever facet of the game, it'll be a 21-20 win, or something of the sort, and I think thats what making us that more excited, because we know were likely to be garunteed a great game.

I've been hoping this team would show some fire and swag for a while. hopefully this rubs off. The jets need to understand that they are a good team and play like one. Its like back in the day gettin in the ring with mike tyson you would be psyched out before the fight started but then someone knocked him out and people werent afraid anymore. Its time for us to stop being intimidated by them dammit

I cannot wait for this game. I made a bet with one of the nurses I work with. If the Pats win, I buy her a Patriots hair cover. If the JETS win, she must wear my Favre jersey for the entire weekend, only taking it off to shower, sleep and if she is going to eat something messy.
We will win.
We will win.
