THREE MORE SPOTS FOR FANTASY FOOTBALL: http://nyjetsfan.com...ndpost&p=356805
Mr_Jet Icon : (28 June 2015 - 11:41 AM) You never know, he could be as good as Gasol brothers or Dirk. Honestly the Knicks picking at #4 did the same thing the 3 teams picking ahead of them did. Picked a 19 year who could go boom or bust.
Mr_Jet Icon : (28 June 2015 - 11:45 AM) Porzingis seems to have the "I'm going to prove them wrong" type of attitude needed to overcome people's doubts about him. Hopefully he'll have the work ethic that goes along with that attitude.
azjetfan Icon : (28 June 2015 - 10:17 PM) In other news I decided to shave the dome. Since the hair was falling out anyway I figured I would show it who's boss

Chaos Icon : (30 July 2015 - 05:56 PM) God dammit Richardson. Jets need to pay Mo. Richardson is turning into a huge liability.
Jetsfan115 Icon : (30 July 2015 - 06:17 PM) good thing we drafted williams. thats why you take BPA
jets4life Icon : (30 July 2015 - 07:54 PM) Mike Freeman of the B/R has spoken to three NFL sources who all said they think Jets DE Sheldon Richardson Will Never Play Another Down In The Nfl following this arrest.

Freeman’s sources all pointed to the 12-year child and the loaded handgun in the car as two major concerns regarding the incident.
We’ll have more details regarding Richardson as the news is available.
ganggreen2003 Icon : (30 July 2015 - 08:44 PM) do we need to get rid of sheldon?
ganggreen2003 Icon : (30 July 2015 - 08:44 PM) wtf was he thinking driving 143 mph
azjetfan Icon : (30 July 2015 - 09:19 PM) My guess would be by the time he is done with all his suspensions he will not be under contract anymore.
azjetfan Icon : (30 July 2015 - 09:20 PM) The child and gun will do him in.
azjetfan Icon : (30 July 2015 - 09:20 PM) Was he charged with child endangerment?
MikeGangGree... Icon : (30 July 2015 - 10:53 PM) Why o why
Chaos Icon : (31 July 2015 - 07:29 AM) i think he was only charged with resisting arrest
Chaos Icon : (31 July 2015 - 07:29 AM) he isn't going anywhere. wife beaters get second chances and he won't?
Chaos Icon : (31 July 2015 - 07:29 AM) i'm sure he's going to be suspended for more than 4 games though
Jetsfan0099 Icon : (31 July 2015 - 10:16 AM) Richardson is a moron
Jetsfan0099 Icon : (31 July 2015 - 10:16 AM) Good thing we drafted Williams
Jetsfan0099 Icon : (31 July 2015 - 10:17 AM) Makes the decision easier to pay Wilkerson, someone who knows how to not get into trouble off the field
ROBJETS Icon : (01 August 2015 - 09:45 AM) put in full screen and turn up the volume.. One of the best music videos Ive ever seen. You might want the old lady seeing it though and definitely not the kids. No nudity but Butt galore!!!!
ROBJETS Icon : (01 August 2015 - 09:45 AM) https://www.facebook...?type=2&theater
ROBJETS Icon : (01 August 2015 - 09:46 AM) meant might not want your woman seeing it
MikeGangGree... Icon : (02 August 2015 - 03:16 PM) Now Wilkerson might be hurt...... f***
azjetfan Icon : (Yesterday, 10:20 PM) I'm almost regretting cutting the cord. Since canceling my Direct TV I have been pretty happy with Netflix sling TV and a $30 antenna. Now that football season is around the corner I am itching. It's just so hard to spend $100plus a month to watch a 3 hour game.
azjetfan Icon : (Yesterday, 10:21 PM) I'll try streaming when it's not on my locals which I assume will be quite a bit.

Pay the Bills
The Buffalo Bills have some significant players due to become unrestricted free agents in March: cornerback Nate Clements, linebacker London Fletcher-Baker, defensive lineman Chris Kelsay, fullback Daimon Shelton, guard Mike Gandy, and running back Anthony Thomas. Clements is only 26, is coming off a good year, and figures to cash a big check. Some NFL insiders even feel he might surpass the $18 million signing bonus Champ Bailey received because with the heightened salary cap many teams are flush and looking to spend their way to success. Clements played under the franchise tag in 2006, earning $7.2 million. The Bills have the right to put the tag on him one more season but it would cost them $7.8 million and they would have to go back on their word because they promised Clements a year ago that they would not tag him twice in a row.

A tender moment?
It's not official yet, but expect the Chargers to put a first-round tender on restricted free agent running back Michael Turner -- meaning any team that signs him to an offer sheet must give up a first-round pick if San Diego doesn't match.

Jets in pursuit
The Jets are expected to pursue Patriots cornerback Asante Samuel, who tied Bailey for the NFL lead in interceptions with 10 this season, and Patriots linebacker Tully Banta-Cain glare.gif , who had a career-high 5 1/2 sacks this season. Both are due to become unrestricted free agents

I wouldnt want to go after Clements, especially if he wants more then Bailey, that guy has to get it in his head, hes not the best CB in the game. I know like every player believes that, but they dont ask for the most money because they think they are the best. Clements is a joke, hes a good CB, but he overrates himself so much..
I would love it if the Jets go after Samuel, like I said, if this is the only big signing I will be happy. Because we defintely need a #1 CB on this team. We got a good #2 CB in Dyson, adding Samuel would make us have a great secondary with Rhodes back there.
I doubt they let him go, if they do then they are truely stubern.

I don't know why people have a problem with Tully Banta-Cain, or TBC as I like to call him. He's gonna be pretty cheap. No one is saying he's a superstar, but he is only 26 years old and knows the system. He also had 5.5 sacks this year. I would have no problem with them bringing him in. It's not a move I would be particularly excited about, but I wouldn't be against it.

And it's good to see in writing that the Jets will pursue Samuel. Where did you get this from S Dubb?

iagree.gif Banta-Cain would be a player who we won't overpay for and will contribute about the same as a top of the market FA LBer and he knows the system well enough to make a big contribution.
I'd like to see Samuel nabbed from the Pats. He will command a lot of money but IMO is worth shelling out for.
With the Chargers expected to put a 1st round tender on Turner, it shows they will settle for nothing less than a 1st for him so therefore Tannenbaum should stay away from him.

That's just some beat writers speculation....it's no different than us speculating on this board.
