Jets are doing jets related things also... THE KNICKS.
SecondHandJets Icon : (Yesterday, 02:43 PM) Geno was the favorite to win the Heisman this time last year
SecondHandJets Icon : (Yesterday, 02:44 PM) He was also a Top 5 pick this time last year
SecondHandJets Icon : (Yesterday, 02:44 PM) If he came out in 2012, he might have gotten drafted before RG3
SecondHandJets Icon : (Yesterday, 02:56 PM) TEH KNICKS
Jetsfan0099 Icon : (Yesterday, 03:25 PM) noway he would have been drafted before RGIII
HarlemHxC814 Icon : (Yesterday, 04:00 PM) Tehhhh
Jetsfan115 Icon : (Yesterday, 04:12 PM) chuck norris said tebow is a great QB. i'm so conflicted becuase tebow sucks but on the other hand if chuck norris said it, it must be true lol
Jetsman05 Icon : (Yesterday, 09:21 PM) Geno was not the favorite to win the heisman going into the year lol
Jetsman05 Icon : (Yesterday, 09:21 PM) you don't watch college football, stop
Jetsman05 Icon : (Yesterday, 09:23 PM) He might not even of been in the second tier of players
SecondHandJets Icon : (Yesterday, 09:25 PM) I've read a ton of articles and all had him as the favorite
SecondHandJets Icon : (Yesterday, 09:25 PM) Who was the favorite then?
SecondHandJets Icon : (Yesterday, 09:27 PM) "Smith was already going to be on most Heisman preseason lists, but a 407-yard, 6-TD performance in the Orange Bowl win over Clemson only solidified him as an elite passer. He can make every throw on the field and has a plethora of talented receivers coming back. Since this team will likely be playing in the Big 12, which has had the uncanny knack for inflating quarterback numbers recently, Smith and head coach Dana Holgorsen are going to leave opposing defenses charred and crippled on most Saturdays."
SecondHandJets Icon : (Yesterday, 09:27 PM) That's from a Jan 2012 article
SecondHandJets Icon : (Yesterday, 09:27 PM) You can google shit from 14 months ago and find a f*** ton of these
SecondHandJets Icon : (Yesterday, 09:29 PM) http://news.yahoo.com/top-10-heisman-trophy-candidates-2012-heading-season-150300441--ncaaf.html
SecondHandJets Icon : (Yesterday, 09:31 PM) http://newyork.sbnation.com/2012/8/17/3249284/heisman-trophy-watchlist-2012-las-vegas-betting-odds-line-matt-barkley-montee-ball-denard-robinson
SecondHandJets Icon : (Yesterday, 09:32 PM) He was 4th according to Vegas odds in April 2012
Jetsman05 Icon : (Yesterday, 09:53 PM) 4th makes him the favorite?
Jetsman05 Icon : (Yesterday, 09:53 PM) you said he was the favorite
Jetsman05 Icon : (Yesterday, 09:53 PM) he wasn't anything near the favorite
Jetsman05 Icon : (Yesterday, 09:54 PM) he reached his pinnacle in the heisman race in the early part of last season
Jetsman05 Icon : (Yesterday, 09:54 PM) at that point he was the favorite
Jetsman05 Icon : (Yesterday, 09:56 PM) also, what a basketball game
MikeGangGree... Icon : (Yesterday, 10:21 PM) 4 point game
MikeGangGree... Icon : (Yesterday, 10:21 PM) maybe the pacers are that good
SecondHandJets Icon : (Today, 12:36 AM) I said that his time last year, he was the favorite. I misspoke. He was 3rd or 4th. He certainly wasn't "not even in the 2nd tier" like you claimed
SecondHandJets Icon : (Today, 12:36 AM) Take your medicine Matty
SecondHandJets Icon : (Today, 12:36 AM) Maybe you should watch more college football instead of talking about watching college football
Jetsman05 Icon : (Today, 06:46 AM) No he wasn't 3rd or 4th
Jetsman05 Icon : (Today, 06:47 AM) He was the 4th favorite in vegas, making him no where near the favorite
Jetsman05 Icon : (Today, 06:47 AM) Barkley had 3/2 odds, Geno was 9-1
Jetsman05 Icon : (Today, 06:48 AM) It's whatever
Jetsfan0099 Icon : (Today, 10:50 AM) Manish leaving jets beat
Jetsfan0099 Icon : (Today, 10:51 AM) About time
SecondHandJets Icon : (Today, 11:22 AM) Was he "not even in the 2nd tier"? No. STFU
Jetsman05 Icon : (Today, 11:25 AM) Was he the favorite?
Jetsman05 Icon : (Today, 11:26 AM) Or even close to the favorite?
Jetsman05 Icon : (Today, 11:27 AM) Nice Manish leaving? Good shit
HarlemHxC814 Icon : (Today, 11:43 AM) SHJ, your boy EJ leads a very sad life
Jetsman05 Icon : (Today, 11:57 AM) haha why do you say that
HarlemHxC814 Icon : (Today, 12:03 PM) I'm friends with SHJ on Facebook and I replied "TEH KNICKS" then EJ recognized my name and started commenting saying shit
HarlemHxC814 Icon : (Today, 12:04 PM) He then goes "yeah and f*** the Knicks" I wanted to tell him he doesn't know what that joke is because he's banned
Jetsman05 Icon : (Today, 12:05 PM) haha
Jetsman05 Icon : (Today, 12:05 PM) what a dick

I can see a 1-15 year.. Probably 3-13, but they may really tank it..

*Sigh* I should of been a Bears fan.

Okay...you're more than welcome. See you in December after a hopefully stellar season when we know you'll be back

Maybe at this point in time, but the 2006 Jets are far from complete. Ask this question just before the season starts.

When the jets again draft a Kyle Brady over Sapp (95), and the next year draft an Alex Van Dyke with the first pick in the 2nd round over Tony Braakens and Mike Allstot, I'll know Kotite is back. Rich Kotite played too much tackle football as a kid without wearing a helmet.

You're the guy that caught the foul ball causing the Cubs to lose aren't you? You have to be. Either that or you'r ron playing games with us again.

God I can't wait for the season to actually start so these trolls will no longer be here. This is a board where people hold actualy INTELLIGENT conversations that actually have foundation to them.

Come back when you can actually grasp that concept. You sound like a Pats fan that's disgruntled from Mangini leaving you. It's called separation anxiety. Get over it already.
I will not be forgotten. This is my time to shine. I've got the scars to prove it. Only the strong survive.

Well You're already a Cubs fans. You can jump ship if you want to. I'm sure we'll manage to find a way to survive without you.

well we did draft Mike Nugent over Adam Terry, even though we knew we would need Tackle help soon. (just an observation) maybe that's the beginning. and then we did draft a 26 year old rookie, even though it usually takes a few years for a DT to be good. so maybe its beginning. but at least i'm glad TB and HERM are out. I konw mangini won't do that.

r u high? worse then the Kotite years, by far NO WAY IN HELL! we have one of the best running backs all time, we have a MLB who is going to be the next ray lewis, a pretty good right end, a above average o-line(yes not great, or good but it can still hold its own), not that bad of a recieving core and who knows what mangini will do, he worked under parcelles and bellicheck so it looks good to me.

people don't realize the importance of kickers, I heard yesterday that on average NFL games or won or lost by 3 points. If dallas had a kicker last year they are probably in the playoffs, if Vinateiri is a Colt last year, they are in OT with the Steelers. Mike Nugent become a huge part of our team soon.

True that...and you can't say Nugent had a bad year last year. He had a very good rookie season for a kicker...especially a kicker in New York City...this place is brutal for young, midwestern kicker...he's gonna be good.

Are you really that dumb? No way we are in worse shape than the Kotite years.

We already have a new coach that might turn it around in a year or two and keep in mind, he has 3 rings with the Pats, Vilma might turn to the next Ray Lewis (someone said that) we have a promising K in Nugent, we have 3 picks in the 1st 35 picks of the NFL draft. Mangini is cleaning house.

EvanstonJet, have you heard of a term in sports that a bad team that is trying to contend in the future by signing yound (and old) players from FA and the draft? It's called REBUILDING!

Don't know why you guys bother to reponse to his quote, he has a right to think what he wants but I would just consider him a bears fan since he mention it. Go to da bearz site and stop coming here, if you're feeling so down b4 the season even started.

You and me both, my friend. The day they demoted Birdbrain Bradway and his 5 years of stupidity again confirmed to me that there is a GOD and he loves me.
