Chaos Icon : (14 February 2015 - 04:01 PM) they both cost 125k to keep now and are not guaranteed a roster spot. they can get cap savings by removing them later
Chaos Icon : (14 February 2015 - 04:01 PM) 125k each. 250k total.
Jetsfan0099 Icon : (14 February 2015 - 05:19 PM) I think they should keep Babin, he was actually our best pass rusher last season despite 2 sacks. He had a lot of QB pressures in limited snaps.
Jetsfan0099 Icon : (14 February 2015 - 05:20 PM) There are some good edge rushers available in FA, I hope we sign one

ganggreen2003 Icon : (15 February 2015 - 11:23 PM) When the hell will the JETS get it that Pace SUCKS
ganggreen2003 Icon : (15 February 2015 - 11:23 PM) Babin being brought back isn't a big deal but Pace really?
azjetfan Icon : (16 February 2015 - 12:43 AM) There is no guarantee either will be on the roster opening day. This gives the Jets the most options in FA and the draft. For once I would love to see Jet fans not jump before the need
Jetsfan0099 Icon : (16 February 2015 - 12:39 PM) I'd cut Pace, we easily can upgrade over him in FA
Jetsfan0099 Icon : (16 February 2015 - 12:40 PM) Babin I'd keep , he had more QB pressures in way less snaps than Pace. And is cheap.
MikeGangGree... Icon : (17 February 2015 - 11:27 PM) its time to bring this back..........

HarlemHxC814 Icon : (18 February 2015 - 06:25 PM) Please no
Jetsfan0099 Icon : (19 February 2015 - 12:28 PM) Reports say Jets to go hard after CJ Spiller. Bring him aboard, he'll be a good signing. Was a stud in Chan's offense and RBs don't cost much
Jetsfan0099 Icon : (20 February 2015 - 12:09 PM) Saw that the Bills are meeting with Spiller and may sign him before FA.
Jetsfan0099 Icon : (20 February 2015 - 12:10 PM) if that happens, I think the Jets should go after Shane Vereen. Nice pass catching option out of the backfield, only 25.
Smedsthejet Icon : (20 February 2015 - 04:06 PM) Think Vereen would be a great option...I thought he was one of their best and most valuable performers during the playoffs and we need a back who can contribute in the passing game as well. Jets have been missing that piece since LT retired
Jetsfan0099 Icon : (21 February 2015 - 01:41 PM) Mariota ran a 4.52
Jetsfan0099 Icon : (21 February 2015 - 01:41 PM) Fastest for a QB since RG3

Jaguars expected to hire former Jets GM John Idzik as a consultant, per source.
HarlemHxC814 Icon : (25 February 2015 - 06:04 PM) FIRE IDZIK
ganggreen2003 Icon : (25 February 2015 - 06:52 PM) AJ Hawk getting cut means that the Packers are going to try real hard to lock up Cobb
ganggreen2003 Icon : (25 February 2015 - 06:52 PM) and the Lions released oft injured Reggie Bush
Jetsfan0099 Icon : (25 February 2015 - 07:29 PM) The Packers had the cap space to lock up Cobb regardless
Jetsfan0099 Icon : (25 February 2015 - 07:30 PM) But Bryan Bulaga is also a FA< so they have 2 important guys to re-sign. I think the OT is more important for Rodgers
ganggreen2003 Icon : (25 February 2015 - 09:17 PM) 22 days 21 hours 27 min till FIRST DAY OF SPRING!!!!!
Jetsfan0099 Icon : (25 February 2015 - 10:06 PM) If we get rid of Harvin, Kevin White looks like a nice replacement.
Jetsfan0099 Icon : (25 February 2015 - 10:06 PM) 6'3 runs a 4.35 and had elite production in college

[quote]"The PS3 is a total disaster on so many levels, I think it's really clear that Sony lost track of what customers and what developers wanted," said Newell. "I'd say, even at this late date, they should just cancel it and do a 'do over.' Just say, 'This was a horrible disaster and we're sorry and we're going to stop selling this and stop trying to convince people to develop for it.'"

i was curious about this link. considering ive been a long time half-life/valve fan.. and have been playing counterstrike since the betas. i really took this guys quote seriously. so i showed my friend this link who is currently out in california working for a gaming company and was told the following. this article is 4 months or so old. apparently a lot has changed since then and the ps3 is doing much better. the ps3 is developing slowly but its starting to do good.

i'm not trying to trash you but your wrong. when a system is built there is a "operating system" of some sorts that the software devolpers have to develop for. to make it easy its liek software devolpers would devolp software for windows and OSX (Apple's operating system). its different for both. now they can't make changes to that. they can in turn put out another operating system (hence windows 95 then windows 98 etc.) in which it could be easier but sony has not done that. a big issues is they already have close to a million PS3s in peoples home and they wouldn't be able to seperate the new software from teh old. the only option would be a disc to install new software (they couldn't do it online since not everyone has online) cause all PS3's have to be uniform and sony hans't done that. if they put out a software disc upgrade then yes that could chnae it but until they do there is no changes. i don't know where you heard that from but sony was always difficult to develop for. thats why when the 1st xbox came out developers loved it cause it was almos the same as making PC games so they barely had any work to make there PC game xbox compatable. MS had the right idea with that

what ur saying is a foolish misunderstanding of a simple statement that was brought to my attention. developers did hate it because they didnt have the tools or an understanding on how to program the language to cooperate with the multi threading integration of the multiple processing system. now that a foundation has been layed out on how to program future titles to operate/maximize properly on the new hardware set... things have gotten easier. of course newell and the game producing community shit a brick when the system was still fresh. They did not have a clear understanding on how they would efficiently program and port their titles to the new hardware set. its an expensive process to have to train employees and keep up with the new cutting edge hardware. yes microsoft took the easy road by building upon their directx game programming libraries. but thats a luxury they only could have taken. they create standards when it comes to pc development from implementing new languages ie directx, C#, and .net. when they standardize, the world and all its computers that are used to make games, adjust.

even if sonys operating system was a complete disaster, it is still possible to retool it and upgrade it. yes a disc would be required to pop in and upgrade it but it would be easy to ship out. they would just have it implemented right into every current title being released. then before your game runs for the first time it will flash the current system or patch it..
