Jets are doing jets related things also... THE KNICKS.
Jetsfan0099 Icon : (Yesterday, 07:49 AM) I wouldn't surprise me if he wasn't viewed as highly next year. College players always get hyped up a year before the draft process. People change their opinions quickly.
Jetsman05 Icon : (Yesterday, 07:56 AM) I'll put a good amount of money that Bridgewater is still highly regarded coming out next year.
Jetsfan0099 Icon : (Yesterday, 08:00 AM) ok I found the chart
Jetsfan0099 Icon : (Yesterday, 08:00 AM) Bridgewater had 0% of his passes go 40+ yards in college
Jetsfan0099 Icon : (Yesterday, 08:02 AM) he could be, I'll wait though
Jetsfan0099 Icon : (Yesterday, 08:02 AM) I doubt Smith will be as bad as Clausen anyways
Jetsfan0099 Icon : (Yesterday, 08:03 AM) I remember watching Clausen in a NFL game and the guy couldn't even throw a spiral.
Jetsfan0099 Icon : (Yesterday, 08:03 AM) Geno has been impressing teammates with how well he can spin the ball and sling it.
Jetsman05 Icon : (Yesterday, 08:31 AM) I hope Geno turns out to be a f***ing monster
Jetsfan115 Icon : (Yesterday, 10:52 AM) andrew luck was hyped up for like 3 years before he entered teh draft
Jetsman05 Icon : (Yesterday, 11:34 AM) tehhhh
Jetsfan0099 Icon : (Yesterday, 11:37 AM) it wasn't for 3 years and Andrew Luck is the best QB prospect to come out in years. Teddy Bridgewater most likely isn't Luck or RGIII
Jetsfan0099 Icon : (Yesterday, 11:40 AM) I've only seen Bridgewater play once. That was against Florida, I actually watched that game.
Jetsman05 Icon : (Yesterday, 12:12 PM) Teddy will be a good NFL QB I think
MikeGangGree... Icon : (Yesterday, 12:52 PM) THE KNICKS
Jetsman05 Icon : (Yesterday, 01:21 PM) THE. KNICKS.
SecondHandJets Icon : (Yesterday, 02:43 PM) Geno was the favorite to win the Heisman this time last year
SecondHandJets Icon : (Yesterday, 02:44 PM) He was also a Top 5 pick this time last year
SecondHandJets Icon : (Yesterday, 02:44 PM) If he came out in 2012, he might have gotten drafted before RG3
SecondHandJets Icon : (Yesterday, 02:56 PM) TEH KNICKS
Jetsfan0099 Icon : (Yesterday, 03:25 PM) noway he would have been drafted before RGIII
HarlemHxC814 Icon : (Yesterday, 04:00 PM) Tehhhh
Jetsfan115 Icon : (Yesterday, 04:12 PM) chuck norris said tebow is a great QB. i'm so conflicted becuase tebow sucks but on the other hand if chuck norris said it, it must be true lol
Jetsman05 Icon : (Yesterday, 09:21 PM) Geno was not the favorite to win the heisman going into the year lol
Jetsman05 Icon : (Yesterday, 09:21 PM) you don't watch college football, stop
Jetsman05 Icon : (Yesterday, 09:23 PM) He might not even of been in the second tier of players
SecondHandJets Icon : (Yesterday, 09:25 PM) I've read a ton of articles and all had him as the favorite
SecondHandJets Icon : (Yesterday, 09:25 PM) Who was the favorite then?
SecondHandJets Icon : (Yesterday, 09:27 PM) "Smith was already going to be on most Heisman preseason lists, but a 407-yard, 6-TD performance in the Orange Bowl win over Clemson only solidified him as an elite passer. He can make every throw on the field and has a plethora of talented receivers coming back. Since this team will likely be playing in the Big 12, which has had the uncanny knack for inflating quarterback numbers recently, Smith and head coach Dana Holgorsen are going to leave opposing defenses charred and crippled on most Saturdays."
SecondHandJets Icon : (Yesterday, 09:27 PM) That's from a Jan 2012 article
SecondHandJets Icon : (Yesterday, 09:27 PM) You can google shit from 14 months ago and find a f*** ton of these
SecondHandJets Icon : (Yesterday, 09:29 PM) http://news.yahoo.com/top-10-heisman-trophy-candidates-2012-heading-season-150300441--ncaaf.html

SecondHandJets Icon : (Yesterday, 09:32 PM) He was 4th according to Vegas odds in April 2012
Jetsman05 Icon : (Yesterday, 09:53 PM) 4th makes him the favorite?
Jetsman05 Icon : (Yesterday, 09:53 PM) you said he was the favorite
Jetsman05 Icon : (Yesterday, 09:53 PM) he wasn't anything near the favorite
Jetsman05 Icon : (Yesterday, 09:54 PM) he reached his pinnacle in the heisman race in the early part of last season
Jetsman05 Icon : (Yesterday, 09:54 PM) at that point he was the favorite
Jetsman05 Icon : (Yesterday, 09:56 PM) also, what a basketball game
MikeGangGree... Icon : (Yesterday, 10:21 PM) 4 point game
MikeGangGree... Icon : (Yesterday, 10:21 PM) maybe the pacers are that good
SecondHandJets Icon : (Today, 12:36 AM) I said that his time last year, he was the favorite. I misspoke. He was 3rd or 4th. He certainly wasn't "not even in the 2nd tier" like you claimed
SecondHandJets Icon : (Today, 12:36 AM) Take your medicine Matty
SecondHandJets Icon : (Today, 12:36 AM) Maybe you should watch more college football instead of talking about watching college football

I personally believe that if Brooks Bollinger wins 4 of the remaining games, we do not draft a QB first round or trade our 1st rounder.

What do you think the magic number is for Brooks to stay the starter & compete for the starting job vs Chad & Fielder?

The Jets are not likly to draft a QB high if they wind up having a 4-12 record, JMO. They may end up signing somebody anyway, considering that all the peices are there except for QB and a head coach.

Out of these remaining games, who do you think we can beat?
Panthers
Denver
Saints
Patriots
Raiders
Fish
Patriots
Bills

Keep in mind that we lost Mawae, & now Chrebet & Baker. Our offensive line is truly offensive and Fabini couldn't block Bryan Thomas if he had to. Brooks did look good, but the other teams will now prepare for him. SD was prepared to play against Vinny.

Now look at the games...
Panthers - LOSS - No way can we compete with them in our current depleted state.
Denver - LOSS - See above
Saints - Too close to call.
Patriots - LOSS - The usual
Raiders - Too close to call
Fish - WIN - They are still the Fish
Patriots - LOSS - See Above
Bills - LOSS - For some reason they always play us tough and at this point in the season, we may be mentally gone.

So at the best we are looking at a 4-12 season

Panthers - If we can pressure Delhomme & the D steps us, we can win. Keeping Bollinger safe is priority #1.

Denver - Loss in Denver

Saints - We can win this one by pressuring Brooks into INT's

Patriots - Control Dillon & pressure Brady & this can be our game. They can be passed on.

Raiders - Dangerous game, but if we beat New England, we can be on a 3 game roll.

Fish - Do I really need to say anything?

Patriots - XMas gift in the Meadowlands? We all know how the JETS typically like to play spoiler at the end of the season.

Bills - We get revenge for early season loss.

I know the above is highly doubtful, but it is actually possible if Donnie sets the D loose & Dinger & Herm allow Brooks to do his thing.

Out of those games, the only ones that I see definatly a loss are the Panthers, and Broncos, I am not deciding on division games, because they are all winnable.

But, in my opinion I see definate wins out of the Saints, and Fins, the others are too close to call.

If Brooks proves himself in the Carolina game even if it is a loss then i see the Saints, Pats , Dolphins, and Bills being beat. I really do believe that this season can be turned around.

At best, 6-10 with Fiedler at the controls.

Its really a sham for us that our 2 hardest opponents left...are the next to games...so I mean.. I don't see a team going from 2-8 to moraly fight for 8-8

Si I just do what i do and say we'll beat out Pats in NE

Panthers - Loss: Jake Delhomme and the Panthers will be too much for NYJ

Denver - Loss: Like Panthers, Denver will be too much for New York

Saints - Win: They suck.

Pats - Loss: ever since 03, Pats have our number. especially in Foxboro

Raiders - Win: We pull off a shocker

Fish - Win: We crush Miami

Pats - Win: We finally defeat them

Bills - Win: We finish season strong with win vs Buffalo @ home

Final record - 7-9

I say none - I think we will pick up a QB in the 3rd round.

Then if Chad isn't healthy next season we grab a trade for a QB first the next year

Remember we have Fiedler who is a more than capable backup

So that would be a 7-1 record then. Kids, just say NO. hysterical.gif

Bollinger is a decent backup and thats all he is. Hes way to dinky to be a qb that will last all season. I watched all of philip rivers combine tape and after watching it i remember my opinion over him.. Id have to say he looked more impressive then Eli and even big Ben.

look what brooks did in the last 15 mins of that game. i ahve a feeling we are gonna beable to put some points up. if our O can score points our Defense isnt on the feild as long thus they wont be tired. that will also motivate the D to play harder. If our Offense can play like they did against the chargers with brooks behind the wheel. i think we can win a couple games. IF he had been starting since we lost chad and jay we very well could be 4-4. last week should of been a W and i think we could of beat the bills with brooks.

Again, Brooks is not the answer for us the entire season. For now, Brooks is the better option then Vinny. Fiedler is who I want back soon. Still a 6-10 season regardless.
