Jets are doing jets related things also... THE KNICKS.
Jetsfan0099 Icon : (Yesterday, 01:55 PM) Teammates talking shut about Sanchez
SecondHandJets Icon : (Yesterday, 02:11 PM) In case you haven't heard, because why would anyone report on the Giants, Nicks is also holding out
SecondHandJets Icon : (Yesterday, 02:11 PM) That makes both Cruz and Nicks.
SecondHandJets Icon : (Yesterday, 02:11 PM) But who cares, Sanchez threw 3 "interceptions"!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Jetsman05 Icon : (Yesterday, 02:59 PM) ?
Jetsman05 Icon : (Yesterday, 02:59 PM) why would we give a f*** about the Giants?
santana Icon : (Yesterday, 03:04 PM) gg03 jimmies are riled
SecondHandJets Icon : (Yesterday, 03:21 PM) You're not in NY. All the backpages are focused on Sanchez
SecondHandJets Icon : (Yesterday, 03:21 PM) None of the NY media even mention Cruz or Nicks
Jetsfan115 Icon : (Yesterday, 03:40 PM) nicks isn't holding out. he's injured still and taking it easy. cruz is holding out. why it isn't a big ordeal IDK. it would be for us
Jetsman05 Icon : (Yesterday, 04:02 PM) maybe because theyre not that far off.
Jetsman05 Icon : (Yesterday, 04:02 PM) Cruz wants to return back, they'll figure it out.
Jetsfan115 Icon : (Yesterday, 04:41 PM) 3 mil a year off or 30% less then cruz wants. tahst alot of money to be off
Jetsfan115 Icon : (Yesterday, 04:41 PM) cruz doens't want to leave NY cause teh extra money he'll get in endorsements plus he knows taht they can RFA him this year and then Franchise next year so he might not be able to get a LTD for 3 years
Mr_Jet Icon : (Yesterday, 05:21 PM) Clemens11/Tebow15 (soon to be Smith7) said if we had just drafted Crabtree and Nicks and kept Clemens, we'd be good.
Jetsfan0099 Icon : (Yesterday, 06:44 PM) No, he can't be Smith7
Jetsfan0099 Icon : (Yesterday, 06:44 PM) his name is reserved for garbage QBs, we don't want Geno to be bad
Jetsfan0099 Icon : (Yesterday, 06:44 PM) He can be McElroy14
extmenace Icon : (Yesterday, 06:51 PM) we're taking bridgewater next year with the number 1 pick and treating geno like a jimmy clausen.
Jetsfan0099 Icon : (Yesterday, 06:53 PM) What makes Bridgewater better than Geno?
HurricaneJet32 Icon : (Yesterday, 07:12 PM) everything
Jetsman05 Icon : (Yesterday, 07:56 PM) ^
Jetsfan0099 Icon : (Yesterday, 08:16 PM) college players always get hyped up before the draft process, just wondering what makes him so much better.
Jetsman05 Icon : (Yesterday, 08:19 PM) Stronger arm, plays in a pro system, better throwing motion, better athlete
Jetsman05 Icon : (Yesterday, 08:19 PM) there's probably nothing Geno does right now that's better than what Teddy does
SecondHandJets Icon : (Yesterday, 10:25 PM) Wouldn't it be funny with Bridgewater ends up having the type of season Barkley had?
Jetsfan0099 Icon : (Today, 07:48 AM) better athlete but never runs as well
Jetsfan0099 Icon : (Today, 07:48 AM) stronger arm but rarely throws deep
Jetsfan0099 Icon : (Today, 07:48 AM) I am trying to find this article, but Bridgewater had about the least amount of 40+ throws in college football
Jetsfan0099 Icon : (Today, 07:49 AM) I wouldn't surprise me if he wasn't viewed as highly next year. College players always get hyped up a year before the draft process. People change their opinions quickly.
Jetsman05 Icon : (Today, 07:56 AM) I'll put a good amount of money that Bridgewater is still highly regarded coming out next year.
Jetsfan0099 Icon : (Today, 08:00 AM) ok I found the chart
Jetsfan0099 Icon : (Today, 08:00 AM) Bridgewater had 0% of his passes go 40+ yards in college
Jetsfan0099 Icon : (Today, 08:02 AM) he could be, I'll wait though
Jetsfan0099 Icon : (Today, 08:02 AM) I doubt Smith will be as bad as Clausen anyways
Jetsfan0099 Icon : (Today, 08:03 AM) I remember watching Clausen in a NFL game and the guy couldn't even throw a spiral.
Jetsfan0099 Icon : (Today, 08:03 AM) Geno has been impressing teammates with how well he can spin the ball and sling it.
Jetsman05 Icon : (Today, 08:31 AM) I hope Geno turns out to be a f***ing monster
Jetsfan115 Icon : (Today, 10:52 AM) andrew luck was hyped up for like 3 years before he entered teh draft
Jetsman05 Icon : (Today, 11:34 AM) tehhhh
Jetsfan0099 Icon : (Today, 11:37 AM) it wasn't for 3 years and Andrew Luck is the best QB prospect to come out in years. Teddy Bridgewater most likely isn't Luck or RGIII
Jetsfan0099 Icon : (Today, 11:40 AM) I've only seen Bridgewater play once. That was against Florida, I actually watched that game.
Jetsman05 Icon : (Today, 12:12 PM) Teddy will be a good NFL QB I think
MikeGangGree... Icon : (Today, 12:52 PM) THE KNICKS

Hes the WR from Ohio State. He is 6-0 192, he has real sure hands. He would be a good pick for us like in round 3. Could be a good slot WR for us, since McCariens is most likely going to be traded or cut.

Ya know...he could be a Mangini type considering he has a 4.0 GPA and was considering Law School...haha...

Plus...word is he runs a 4.3 40...I don't believe that...but he is fast and a good WR. I'd like to see him in the middle rounds...

He was awesome all year for the Buckeyes except for the Final game when they all forgot to show up. But he is tough and smart, he would be an awesome pickup.

I HATE Ohio State but i LOVE this guy Gonzalez. He has Great hands and could be a very nice pickup.

Also since there are rumors going around about Coles retiering or leaving soon I was thinking it would be a good idea to pick up another WR in this draft because there are PLENTY of Great ones to be obtained this year.

Yea thats what I am thinking also, we should draft a WR that can eventually be a starting WR, someone that can be slot WR for this year. With Coles saying that stuff, I think its better if the team is prepared for him if he leaves, so that we have a good replacement for him.

Well...I don't think Gonzalez is number one material...he might be a fantastic number 2 or 3...but he isn't a main WR.

Now there are a ton of WR's in the draft...and you can easily pick up a good one in the second round.

Calvin Johnson

Dwayne Jarrett

Robert Meachem

Teddy Ginn Jr

Sidney Rice

Jeff Samardzija

Dwayne Bowe

Johnnie Lee Higgins

Steve Smith

Dallas Baker

Rhema McKnight

Brandon Myles

I mean good lord the list goes on and on...you'd probably be crazy to not take a WR with your 3rd or 4th rounder this year because you can get a good one there. Every team should be taking WR's...the talent pool is so deep you don't pass up an oppurtunity to get a solid contributor in the 3rd or 4th.

Yea I think he can be a solid #2 or 3 in the NFL, WE could probably get him in the 3rd round. I don't think we have a fourth round pick so if we don't get him than we probably won't get it.

Thanks for the Memories

Exactly, we need to draft a WR high this year, espeically if we trade McCariens. This is a great year for WRs, its also a good year for QBs, and I also think that we should draft a talented QB to be a back up who may end up becoming a starter for us. I think that we should just keep drafting QBs in drafts untill we get a franchise QB!!!

That idea is dumb IMO simply because you'd be avoiding your needs and not filling holes which you need to do in the later rounds. Seeing as we drafted Clemens in the 2nd round last year I don't see the team taking a QB in the draft the next 3 drafts unless it's a backup guy in the 6th or 7th. What teams need at QB is a starter, veteran backup and young player they can groom. At the moment we have that in Chad, Ramsey and Clemens.

Personally though I think we should take a WR in this draft due to the talent available at that position, possibly in the 3rd round or with our 2nd 2nd rounder.

Takeing a QB in like rounds 5-7 doesnt exactley mean avoiding holes. Rounds 5-7 you really dont expect players to be starters, or to fill holes. Also people are forgetting that there is also FA, people here just assume that we need to fill every hole through the draft. We will fill most of them through that, but we wont fill every need there. Like we dont need to draft a rookie CB, we really need a vetern CB that can start like Samuel. Also we can fill the RT hole through FA, since we dont want another rookie starting there. We will probaly fill guard up through the draft. RB we can fill either through FA or draft, I bet it will probaly be through the draft, and DE and NT we will probaly do through both, we probaly will pick up some vet, and also draft one. Also people seem to think that we are going to cut Ramsey, so we do need another QB, and taking a QB in rounds 5-7 wouldnt be a bad idea, because there is alot of good QBs in this draft and also you may end up striking gold with it. Especially is Clemens ends up not being the franchise QB.
