NJAzrael71 Icon : (30 December 2016 - 03:36 PM) Mevis showed hius LACK of class with that busllshit comment
MikeGangGree... Icon : (01 January 2017 - 01:40 PM) Lets start 2017 with a Win
MikeGangGree... Icon : (01 January 2017 - 01:41 PM) Hack should be playing
MikeGangGree... Icon : (01 January 2017 - 03:39 PM) wooooo5-11
MikeGangGree... Icon : (01 January 2017 - 04:00 PM) J-E-T-S JETS JETS JETS!
MikeGangGree... Icon : (01 January 2017 - 05:56 PM) OK so Bill O brien and Sean Payton might get fired according to Fox this morning
MikeGangGree... Icon : (01 January 2017 - 05:56 PM) I would do anything to get one of them as OC
santana Icon : (02 January 2017 - 02:19 PM) texans coach? i doubt he gets fired
santana Icon : (02 January 2017 - 02:19 PM) but he would be ideal if the jets were to flush bowles out
santana Icon : (02 January 2017 - 04:36 PM) http://www.nj.com/je...trol_of_je.html
azjetfan Icon : (05 January 2017 - 09:54 PM) Sean Payton will get another HC gig. Obrien would be good.
azjetfan Icon : (09 January 2017 - 11:18 PM) Howard from Alabama seems legit. #88 TE
azjetfan Icon : (09 January 2017 - 11:20 PM) Williams the WR from Clemson looks like they are out to get him. He has taken some huge hits
vjdbbq Icon : (10 January 2017 - 07:12 AM) We'll take Williams in the first round .
Chadforpresi... Icon : (10 January 2017 - 10:48 AM) I'd love Howard in the 2nd round if he's still there. I like Williams a lot as well, but I just don't see WR being big enough of a need, and there should be better talent on the board at 6
Jetsfan115 Icon : (10 January 2017 - 07:21 PM) Raiders OC Musgrave not expected to return to OAK. what do you think about getting him? he did wonders with the oakland offense this year
Chadforpresi... Icon : (10 January 2017 - 07:39 PM) Definitely an appealing choice given with his history of progressing Carr. We need someone with a track record of grooming young QBs
MikeGangGree... Icon : (12 January 2017 - 12:36 PM) I want Watson now! after what he did Monday night I'm sold on him at QB. He moved the ball all night on Alabama and after hurts scored that TD he just told his team "Lets end this"
Jetsfan115 Icon : (12 January 2017 - 06:31 PM) An Ohio prosecutor says he wants to know what punishment Cincinnati Bengals player Adam "Pacman" Jones faces from the NFL before deciding how to proceed over Jones' latest arrest, Dan Sewell of the Associated Press reports..

Hamilton County Prosecutor Joe Deters tells WKRC-TV he's asking "what is the normal" for a player with multiple offenses and who's been suspended before.

An NFL spokesman said on Thursday that Jones' case is "under review" and declined to comment further.

Jones was jailed Jan. 3 on charges he head-butted police and spit on a nurse after his arrest for assault. Authorities say he was so combative he had to be placed in a restraint chair.

Jones says he anticipates the charges will be dismissed.
Jetsfan115 Icon : (12 January 2017 - 06:32 PM) we wont get watson. he's going 1st overall to the browns
azjetfan Icon : (12 January 2017 - 09:06 PM) Is Watson a product of Clemson's staff and supporting cast? Taj Boyd also put up some decent numbers if I remember correctly but he couldn't even make a scout team in the NFL.
azjetfan Icon : (12 January 2017 - 09:11 PM) From what I have read (although limited) he is not the highest ranked QB in the draft.
azjetfan Icon : (12 January 2017 - 09:11 PM) "No quarterback in this draft -- not Mitch Trubisky, not Watson, not DeShone Kizer -- is considered a sure thing. The folks at Scouts Inc. rank Trubisky, Watson and Kizer as the 21st, 38th and 46th prospects on their big board, respectively." ESPN
azjetfan Icon : (12 January 2017 - 09:12 PM) If we can get a decent return for Richardson we may be able to make a move into the mid teens to early 20s if the Brass really likes Watson.
azjetfan Icon : (12 January 2017 - 09:13 PM) Personally I don't think the jets have a clue on who they will take. We still have to hit FA and manage our roster
azjetfan Icon : (12 January 2017 - 11:46 PM) Jets to interview Broncos assistant Studesville for OC
Jetsfan115 Icon : (13 January 2017 - 01:28 PM) Why? seems like a weird choice
Jetsfan115 Icon : (13 January 2017 - 01:29 PM) Leonard Williams replacing Khalil Mack in Pro Bowl
Chadforpresi... Icon : (13 January 2017 - 09:49 PM) I'm not buying Watson, even after that championship game. Dude threw too many picks in his day
Chadforpresi... Icon : (13 January 2017 - 09:49 PM) I'm really curious to see what we get for Richardson, but I have a bad feeling his value is at an all time low between his crap season and bad attitude
azjetfan Icon : (14 January 2017 - 12:16 AM) I agree. He is a first round talent but a fourth round headache. We will be lucky to get a 2nd
Chadforpresi... Icon : (14 January 2017 - 08:41 AM) Yeah precisely. 2nd rounder would be a huge stretch. 3rd or 4th is more likely
vjdbbq Icon : (14 January 2017 - 02:18 PM) Send Sheldon someplace he will never see the playoffs ; like Jacksonville ; then he will have time to find da ho's .
azjetfan Icon : (14 January 2017 - 07:25 PM) R Sherman is getting torched by the Falcons.
vjdbbq Icon : (16 January 2017 - 09:37 AM) Pats vs Pitt - root for injuries
Jetsfan115 Icon : (16 January 2017 - 12:36 PM) GB-ATL game is gonna be a hell of a shootout. that throw rodgers made on 3rd and 20 with 12 seconds left in a tied game was ridiculous. 35 yards rolling out to his left a perfect placed ball on the sideline.
azjetfan Icon : (16 January 2017 - 10:50 PM) Winters resigned to 4 year deal. $7 million per year
Chadforpresi... Icon : (16 January 2017 - 10:51 PM) Seems like a slightly steep price but overall cool with it, he's turned into a good player and is still young. Just needs to stay healthy.
Jetsfan115 Icon : (Yesterday, 04:12 PM) seems like a good deal. they were saying he could have earned over 8 million in the open market
vjdbbq Icon : (Today, 08:12 AM) Where's Rob ?
vjdbbq Icon : (Today, 08:12 AM) Is he looking for a new ass ?
vjdbbq Icon : (Today, 08:12 AM) :saythat:
vjdbbq Icon : (Today, 08:13 AM) :trink39:
Jetsfan115 Icon : (Today, 01:32 PM) 4 years 29 mil 15 mil guarenteed. so 7.25mil a year for winters. a nice bargain. he took a hometown discount. seems like a good guy. well done winters and mac
Jetsfan115 Icon : (Today, 04:33 PM) Jets hire Dennard Wilson as defensive backs coach

So pretty much you guys are saying evertime you lead your team to a win its legendary. So you're saying the pass Leon Washington caught against the Dolphins on Monday Night is legendary? No one is gonna remember that except Dolphins and Jet fans. I won't remember game 5. It was a great performance not legendary.

man listen... a dude taking over an entire quarter of play and scoring 29 of his team's 30 points to lead to a victory should never be downplayed, no matter who your favorite player is. that type of shit is unheard of on a professional level.. 10 straight points.. sure.. but 29 out of 30? against another team of professionals who KNOW the ball is coming to you?

the only reason i feel it's premature to call it legendary is because the dude is 22 and has a long career ahead of him to do even more shit like that. the dude put the team on his back... that's only supposed to work in video games.

#1 i said anymore, which means i used to watch nba, a lot actually

#2 u dont need to watch NBA TO KNOW LEGENDARY GAMES. and no not every comeback is a legendary game for me. Plus most of the playoff games are good if not great games so why wouldnt i think they are all legendary games? i mean according to u that means i should but uh, sorry i dont!

dude your just a hatta. You hate anyone who outshines yr precious Kobe. and EVERYONE knows yr rong. your outvoted, and outsmarted by HALF THE BRAIN, of anyone else who has posted on this thread.

give it up, yr just being ignorant and makin yrself look like a jackass. 25 straight points by one player for his team is not just a comeback, and its sumthin Kobe has neve and most likely will neva do. Kobe is not as good as u make him out to be...ACCEPT IT!

Haha, good one. Mods, oh mods. Kobesgay is spreading his slanderous filth.

To say that you wouldn't be blowing Kobe if he did what Lebron did is such a lie, I don't even know how you believe that shit. You give him a reach around every time he scores 29 points let alone 29 out of his teams last 30. To conclude, you suck and Kobe will never see another championship.

I'm not down playing man. I have said it this thread it was a great, clutch performance. What I have said its not legendary like you said to.

Vandsegay, I'm not lying if Kobe did what LeBron did it would just be a normal game for Kobe. When Kobe drops 50 points its not a suprsie anymore. It actually a dissapointmen.

Kobe WILL win a champioship again. Especailly if the Lakers get Tinsley, Jermaine O'neal and Camby or if he is traded straight up for Dirk.

Clutch Performance - To consistently come up big on any stage when your team needs you.

Legendary Performance - To do something unbelievable on a big stage that may not ever be done again.

My friend, what Lebron did was what you can call a LEGENDARY PERFORMANCE.

PERIOD.

Oh and I know what your gonna say "Well Kobe scored 81 and no one may never do that again." Very true, but that was against the Raptors at home in teh regular season. Lebron moped the floor with the Class of the Eastern Conference in their Gym in the playoffs.

So is T-MAC's 13 points in 35 seconds legendary? I'd bet there has been player that scored the last 20 or so points for there team. I'll try to find some info on that.

TMAC needs to get past round 1 before he gets any love. I do remember that and as impressive as that was, no it was not legendary.

The last time I was awed by a performance in the NBA was MJ's Flu game vs Utah.

Bro, are you sure it wasn't legendary? Because you said Legendary is something that will never happen again. I'm pretty sure that will never happen again.

You have to look at it individually man. I know what I said, and I still mean it too, what im trying to do is have you realize that what Lebron did was way beyond clutch. When a player is clutch he does things that are great with consistency,

Big Papi is clutch, Kobe is clutch, MJ was clutch, Tiger Woods is clutch.

But what Lebron did was bananas man. You dont see that kind of shit happen outside of NBA Live. TMAC indeed scored those points but it was hitting a few threes. Lebron took over a game, no no a f***ing series man cant you see that? It was game 5! BY FAR the most pivotal game of a series in ANY sport. He took over and dominated. And on top of that I think he still ended with 7 assists! He decided to dominate and he did. He smelled blood and attacked. Im not saying he is a legend either, just that what he did was legendary. I mean cmon now, you have coaches man, experienced people that have been working with basketball since u were a sperm cell in your dads sack calling it legendary. And no I dont mean the ESPN cats, im talking coaches around my way that im friends with.

I dont mean to seem like an ass man, but seriously, you have to be eating paint to say that Lebron was not legendary in game 5. Christ!

lebrons performance was so overwhelming, in game six the pistons got stomped, on top of all the stats, stories, and opinions he actually changed the tide of a Eastern Conf. Champ Series.... to say it wasnt legendary would be completely stubborn. Lebron not only is 22 years old, but he is the leader of the cavs without question and without his play they would be sittin at home with kobe. Maybe the legend of lebron has yet to arrive, but this game i gaurantee you will be shown on espn classic more than just once

no im not taking away anything from his game. but the hype that surrounds it. if billups did the same to the cavs do you think it would be getting such hype and the media would be slobbing on him? Even lebrons dunk over sheed was a bit overrated. Ill buy into it when he closes out the series with a game winner and a good performance. I enjoy watching the pistons play but now I'm even more curious at how lebron would perform against the spurs.

yeah well unlike some others in this thread.. cough kobeskool...
now that the series is done with. I'm going to have to swallow my words... lebron really did live up to the hype this time around. for his age im not going to start a legendary parade i think he has the potential to grow into that status. His performance was pretty close to perfect he sure muscled that win.. but who knows with these new hand checking rules how you can compete this performance vs others in the past.

kobeskool quit being such a damn donkey.

Oh, and a better insult would have been Vandelgay Industries. Come on kobeskool, pick it up.

The trade for JO and TInsley are pretty much done. They can't announce it until after the NBA draft. I'll take my fingers out of Kobe "rectum" (which they aren't in) after you, the media, David Stern and the NBA refs gets LeBrons d1ck out of your crack, nose, mouth and ear.
