Stay away. Benson was a bad pick before the season in my opinon and it has proven true. Jones was the better back then and is not letting go of the job anytime soon. THe Bears will probably have to give his job away after the season.
Try picking up Davenport from GB if you want a high risk-high reward back, or here are some other good options who are FAs in a lot of leagues:
Chris Brown at Hou
Pittman at NYJ
Ronnie Brown at Buffalo (Buff will probably limit him in yards though)
Brown is the best option, but Pittman could put up decent numbers as the only real backfield option for Tampa.

Ship might be available in your league. I’d takle him. maybe even Barlow he might be there too. benson isn’t gonna get enough anything to be good in fantasy football this year. bears should have took Rodgers instead of another RB. Jones isn’t that bad
Get it done MT

If Shipp is still out there he is a pretty good option, but keep an eye on what the Cards are doing. Last year they went through three or four QBs and I think they are going to do the same with the RB position this year. THere were talks about trading for Bennett from Minnesota, and he would probably get a chance to start if that everntually happens. Also, Arrington will most likely get another chance to start sometime this year.

I;m talking about this week only. He has 2 RBs on a bye so for this week he’d be a good stop gap. I picked him up last week in a league to offset 2 bye weeks form my RBs and it worked out pretty well
I know, I'm just reminding him that Shipp probably won't be much of an answer for long.

I think he will be the starter all year and Arrington a 3rd down back maybe. Ship isn’t that good but Arrington hads been horrible so far
Arrington had the stomach flu the first three two weeks of the season and I don't know that he was at full health in week three either. Also, the were playing from behind in the first three weeks and it is pretty hard for a RB to perform well when his team is throwing a lot to try and come back. I think Shipp is a fill-in at best and Arrington will everntually get his shot at the starting gig again and keep it this time.
But if Bennett gets traded there he will be the obvious starter untill they realise he isn't a true starter either.

he did rush for 1400 yards that one year and made the pro bowl. what happened to him after that?
He gets hurt a lot (missed a lot of time over the last three seasons), and I think he just had one good year in him. He is really fast, but doesn't have much going for him other than that. He was probably just one of those guys who catches teams off guard and then gets planned for and can't get anything done.

Kinda like Warrick dunn? A pure speed guy?
Yeah, only less healthy and in a worse system. Also, Dunn has heart and Bennett doesn't have much.
I don't think he is much of a receiver either, which doesn't help.
