It's bonus time...some more guys to keep on your radar...

Johnnie Lee Higgins - WR - UTEP
6'0" - 180
Burner who runs a 4.35 40. He isn't big or physical, but his measurables and production are undeniable. He had over 1,300 recieving yards this past year with 13 TD's. Had a 20.6 yards per catch average in '04.

Josh Beekman - OG - Boston College
6'1" - 321
In my opinion, is basically a Pete Kendall clone. This native New Yorker is a technician who excels in the running game and is a smart, hard worker.

Nate Ilaoa - RB - Hawaii
5'9" - 248
Intriguing guy who is probably get more attention than he deserves. He has exceptional speed and agility for his size, as Lou Holtz said, "Guy's who are that big shouldn't be that fast, it should be a crime."

Kareem Brown - DT - Miami
6'5" - 315
Could be one of the great's. He hasn't really gotten significant starting time until his senior year. Can do it all and has great speed for his size. Could be an outstanding 3-4 DE...and in my opinion...is absolutely worth taking in the middle rounds. A bit of an underachiever, but his physical tools and on field production can't be denied.

Jonathan Wade - CB - Tennessee
6'0" - 195
Physically gifted with great size, speed, and burst. Is relatively new to the CB game, as he didn't play CB until the '04 season. Potential laden prospect who needs good coaching to maximize his potential in the pro's.

fan of all them except Wade, who i think is just a burner with average cover skills. Beekman really impressed suring the senior bowl practice yesterday when he killed Okoye in one on one drills.

Beekman, Brown, and Higgins are three guys I would seriously consider. Beekman is just perfect...no explanation required. Brown could possibly be a DE or NT...similiar to D Rob except for the fact that Brown has D Rob's rare combo of size and speed but is more of a space eater. So think D Rob's effectiveness and versatility...combined with a more NT mentality!

Higgins could provide us with that deep threat we so desperately miss...

I really like Beekman, I think that we should draft him with our first 2nd rounder. He should be our OG of the future, he would be a great replacement for Kendall, and maybe even challenge Moore for the starting RG spot.
