There are a few PS3 users but its a number game. for every 9 people that have a wii, 3 have an xbox and 1 has a PS3.

personally i don't think there is any reason that you "Must have" a PS3. most of the best games are for both teh PS3 and xbox so really one or the other is good enough. I wen't xbox becuase out of the exclusive list, the xbox has better one's in my opinion.

I'm a 360 fan, but honestly i don't even like halo or gears of war lol. i mean gears was ok and as far as halo goes i'm not big on FPS.
But the PS3 has no reason for me to get one. I'm seriously buying a wii and not a PS3 for my next system. i can't think of 1 reason to but a PS3, espicially when you can now buy blu-ray players for 100$ or less

My PS3 is on its way. I've been exclusively Xbox for the longest time, but the red ring of death changed that. They wanted $120 to fix a used system I bought for $150. Not to mention my buddies are on their 4th and 5th 360's because of the red ring of death.

Not saying the PS3 is flawless, but I sure hope it is more reliable than the 360.

ps3 is way morereliable. the 360's failure rate is like 51% last article i read said ps3 was like 10 or 14%. as long as you keep it it in a nice ventilated spot youre fine. hit me up When u get it. MTYSON is my psn

i can't justify 360+ dollars for teh chance that uncharted might be "that good" even if it is it takes more then 1 game to justify buying a system. i did crack and buy a wii though. its nothing amazing but fun as hell to play drunk with some friends. for that same 360 i'd spend on a PS3 and 1 game with 1 controller i got the wii 3 games and 2 controllers

and if i was a faggy fan boy i'd should out how great halo is like every fan boy does instead of saying teh truth i don't see the big deal about it.

Yeah the failure rate is way too high, but MS fixes it for free so i can't complain. also remember the PS3 has sold less then half of the 360 so yeah you'll hear about more broken ones

i've moved back to pc gaming
the fps games on 360/ps3 are way too boring for me and the joystick is horribly annoying
i enjoy adventure games / sports games on the console more though

assassins creed 2 was sick
and i can't wait for god of war 3 and the last guardian for ps3

I'm not much of a Gran Turismo fan either, but the market for that game crushes anything the 360 calls exclusive. And God of War 3? You played at a friend's house? Okay. It comes out in the middle of March, dude. Maybe you confused it with the God of War franchise on the PS2 (that was still hot while the 360 was on shelves), but your opinion is unsupported.

As far as the console war goes, the nod goes to Microsoft for Xbox Live alone, and that margin is closing every time I look. Xbox Live is more polished, but as far as functionality goes, the only thing that really counts is party chat. I never used the party chat feature, but I see how it's important to some.

Anyway, just for the record: a Wii is a waste of monii. That's currently back in the box, sitting in the closet with my Slim PS2, waiting for when I get a new place and set up a gaming room with some different TVs or something. Mario Kart and Super Mario Galaxy were fun for a little bit, but that system won't hold your interest. Unless you really are playa extraordinaire and have parties of chicks coming over all the time who wanna play some Wii Bowling before starting the orgy, the whole thing is a waste of shelf space.

I had the option to upgrade my laptop (which i use for my dvd player) afor 60 bucks from teh drive i have to a bluray drive. i didn't. matter of fact can't remember teh last time i watched a dvd or bluray. i download bluray rips for free and store them on an external hard drive (i have 2 1TB external hard drives) and play every movie digitally off my laptop. i haven't used a DVD disc in a long ass time. perosnally i have no use for a dvd player or a blu-ray but if i wnated something strictly for bluray i would rather buy a bluray player for half teh price then a PS3.

exactly which is why i would NEVER spam somebody for saying the personally dislike somehting. its all opinion. however u can't argue manning. he has numbers to prove how he is one of teh greatest. he is top 3 for every QB catagory and still has years left. were goign off opinion.

and you can't use sales either. for instance soccor is the most popular sport worldwide. i think its boring and like football way better. does that mean soccor is better then football or vice versa? no its all opiniion.

gran turismo is the industry standard for a racing game. that is true. same way halo and COD are for the FPS Genre. personally i don't care for racing or FPS games. i like sports games, action/adventure 3PS and RPGs. the sports games are pretty much teh same for teh systems. so it comes down to the other 3. action adevnture in my opinon goes to xbox, ninja gaiden is the best franchise and even though PS3 has it they got it way later. by the time the PS3 got it i had beaten it 3 times and stopped playing it. as far as GOW goes i should have been more specific. i don't like the franchise. the 1ts one came out shortly after the 1st ninja gaiden for xbox i tried it and didn't like, the 2nd one came out on the PS2 shortly after the 2nd ninja gaiden and i dind't like it. so i have no interest in the 3rd. i should have specified. when i said i tried it at a friends house. i dind't pay attention to the 3 i was thinking more about teh whole franchise. that leaves RPGs. i love fallout 3 (all platform game) but xbox has too many good exclusives. liek dragon age origins, mass effect, (mass effect 2 is coming out soon as well) fable 2 just to name a few. xbox360 has way more RPGs that i like and are exclusive only. been that way since the 1st xbox with jade empire, sudeki, fable to name a few. so when it comes down to it i don't feel like i'm missing out on anythign not having a PS3. its the same experiance as teh xbox but with a few different exclusive games and in that small catagory i give it to the xbox due to the exclusive RPGs that i like

lol. i don't play it by myself. it doesn't have any good games for a single player really. i have it for when younger family comes over or friends or the occasional drunk chick i get back to my place lol. but i know its not the machine the PS3 is and it doens't have the library the PS3 has but the PS3 and xbox are so close to eachother its like buying the same thing twice.

i know the 360 has a high failure rate. (my old roomate RROD mine a while ago) but MS fixed it for free so its not that big a deal. MS products always have a high failure rate. my upgrade from vista to 7 wasn't bad but wasn't anywhere near as smooth as my upgrade from leopard to snow leopard on my mac. i'm not defending MS all i'm saying is for my personal preferences the 360 suits me more.

I appreciate your insight, my dude. But you're still missing the point some. What I'm talking about isn't an isolated incident restricted to this post and this post alone. It's that you have a tendency to spout off at the fingertips about why the PS3 sucks when you clearly have no frame of reference. If you said, "I prefer the 360 because..." then I wouldn't have anything combative to say. But when you say the PS3 sucks, the games are bad, and then back it up with tired cliches, then it gets old... REALLY fast.

You say you like Ninja Gaiden, when God of War is of the same mold. It's pure hack and slash, jump high, get combos, summon powers, and fend off hordes of baddies. It's the story and concept of God of War that makes it >>>>

You prefer RPGs, and that's cool. But as far as FPS and sports games. It's really a toss up between systems. I have more family on PS3 and the number is growing. So after my beloved 360 got banned, the choice was clear.

Either way, seems like your blu-ray preference has a lot to do with your laptop capabilities. Personally, I love popping on the surround sound and spinning the disc off 5.1 DTS.

All in all, point is you haven't just used what you like better. You've made it a point to go in PS3 threads and remind us that you hate the PS3. And remind us that you like the 360. And post articles pushing the 360 v. PS3 agenda. That's why santana questioned you, and kinda why I got at you too. It's not isolated, bro.

Regardless, if you've been lucky enough that your 360 never burned out, then congrats. My little brother has had 4 of them drop. I had one. Only reason I got a new PS3 is because I upgraded to the quieter SLIM with the 120 GB hard drive that I'm about to swap out for a 500GB after I fill it out with movies and music.
