SecondHandJets Icon : (24 May 2013 - 09:25 PM) I've read a ton of articles and all had him as the favorite
SecondHandJets Icon : (24 May 2013 - 09:25 PM) Who was the favorite then?
SecondHandJets Icon : (24 May 2013 - 09:27 PM) "Smith was already going to be on most Heisman preseason lists, but a 407-yard, 6-TD performance in the Orange Bowl win over Clemson only solidified him as an elite passer. He can make every throw on the field and has a plethora of talented receivers coming back. Since this team will likely be playing in the Big 12, which has had the uncanny knack for inflating quarterback numbers recently, Smith and head coach Dana Holgorsen are going to leave opposing defenses charred and crippled on most Saturdays."
SecondHandJets Icon : (24 May 2013 - 09:27 PM) That's from a Jan 2012 article
SecondHandJets Icon : (24 May 2013 - 09:27 PM) You can google shit from 14 months ago and find a f*** ton of these

SecondHandJets Icon : (24 May 2013 - 09:32 PM) He was 4th according to Vegas odds in April 2012
Jetsman05 Icon : (24 May 2013 - 09:53 PM) 4th makes him the favorite?
Jetsman05 Icon : (24 May 2013 - 09:53 PM) you said he was the favorite
Jetsman05 Icon : (24 May 2013 - 09:53 PM) he wasn't anything near the favorite
Jetsman05 Icon : (24 May 2013 - 09:54 PM) he reached his pinnacle in the heisman race in the early part of last season
Jetsman05 Icon : (24 May 2013 - 09:54 PM) at that point he was the favorite
Jetsman05 Icon : (24 May 2013 - 09:56 PM) also, what a basketball game
MikeGangGree... Icon : (24 May 2013 - 10:21 PM) 4 point game
MikeGangGree... Icon : (24 May 2013 - 10:21 PM) maybe the pacers are that good
SecondHandJets Icon : (Yesterday, 12:36 AM) I said that his time last year, he was the favorite. I misspoke. He was 3rd or 4th. He certainly wasn't "not even in the 2nd tier" like you claimed

SecondHandJets Icon : (Yesterday, 12:36 AM) Maybe you should watch more college football instead of talking about watching college football
Jetsman05 Icon : (Yesterday, 06:46 AM) No he wasn't 3rd or 4th
Jetsman05 Icon : (Yesterday, 06:47 AM) He was the 4th favorite in vegas, making him no where near the favorite
Jetsman05 Icon : (Yesterday, 06:47 AM) Barkley had 3/2 odds, Geno was 9-1
Jetsman05 Icon : (Yesterday, 06:48 AM) It's whatever

Jetsfan0099 Icon : (Yesterday, 10:51 AM) About time
SecondHandJets Icon : (Yesterday, 11:22 AM) Was he "not even in the 2nd tier"? No. STFU
Jetsman05 Icon : (Yesterday, 11:25 AM) Was he the favorite?
Jetsman05 Icon : (Yesterday, 11:26 AM) Or even close to the favorite?

Dear New York Jets Organization,
My name is _________ , and I am a 12 year old Jet fan. During the course of my life, I have followed and supported the Jets through victories and defeats. I suffered through the 1-15 season of 1996, with all the embarrassment. My hopes for the Jets to go to the Super Bowl sprouted again during the magical 12-4 season of 1998, despite losing the A.F.C. Championship game against the Denver Broncos. However, throughout all of the losing and winning seasons of the last decade, I never lost my pride to be a Jet fan,
And I never shall.

After the tragic 4-12 season of 2005, the New York Jets are in a rebuilding mode, as you may already know. I support the Jets fully in this sad time. But as a Jet fan, I believe that one day we will see the light again, and one day Jets owner Woody Johnson will hold the Vince Lombardi trophy high above his head, as he is carried off the field by his Jets. I speak for all Jet fans when I say that there is still hope!

To remember our Jets, I would like to request an autographed picture of the team.
I fully understand if this is not possible, but thank you for all your time and effort. Thank you, for caring for your fans.

What do you think? Kinda lovey-duvey but this is th 3rd one I sent and haven't yet gotton any responses!

At age 2 or 3 you suffered embarrassment from the Jets 1-15 season?

Well, dude, no offense, you've said so many times that you just started folliwing football in 2004, but the players won't know that. cool2.gif wink.gif
Anyway, pretty good, though I highly doubt you will get all their autos, some guys just don't do that. You should ask certain individuals, like Martin, Pennington, Coles (though I don't think he does), Ellis, Vilma, etc.
But good luck either way!!!

Yeah I know . I don't think they need the money. On Mike Nugents official website, he had an autograph session somewhere in Ohio and it said autographs were 20 bucks each!

$20 bucks at a signing? That's a great deal, most others are like $100. Of course, it's even better when they're free. biggrin.gif
