RetireChrebet Icon : (17 July 2014 - 03:03 AM) My main concern this season is the quarterback play, he or they need to limit turnovers. Simple as that. Also curious to see what we get out of the secondary. If the two aforementioned play decent football this year it should be a very good season.
Mr_Jet Icon : (17 July 2014 - 01:24 PM) Football has been gone so long it feels like the Super Bowl was over a year ago. And we still have about 6 weeks to go before the season starts.

You know what would be sweet but would never happen would be getting Demarcus Ware. Obviously they'd be really stupid to do that.

At 6-4 257 he's undersized on the line. And with Bobby Carpenter in the fix for a starter position, Bradie James obviously staying in the middle because he's a bad ass, and Ayodele who they just gave a huge contract to.... it's interesting to see what they do with the guy. Who here wouldn't give up our 1st rounder for Demarcus Ware? I know I would. Ware and Vilma playing next to each other would be quite amazing.

You could kind of tell at times he was pissed off with all the attention his team were getting and it seemed at times his heart wasn't entirely in it but that's because he and Jerry Jones were never entirely on the same page and Jones likes to get heavilly involved whilst TO brought the whole media circus with him.

The News broke via Press Release...maybe T.O. had something to do with this decision...well as long as the JETS have Mangini I am happy and am very confident in what the JETS are going to do in the future

Parcells' legacy with the Cowboys can be framed this way: Instead of joining Tom Landry, Jimmy Johnson and Barry Switzer as coaches who led them to championships, he leaves lumped with Chan Gailey and Dave Campo.

don't get too excited, the rumored top canidate is Wade Phillips, D-coordinator of the Chargers, who are a 3-4 team.

Mangini couldn't have come to this team at a better time. I think we need to try to scoop up a NT from one of these teams. If we do sign some studs then have an amazing draft this team is going to be a powerhouse.

But on the other hand I can't believe he retired. I liked Parcells. I think all Jets fans should like Parcells especially because of what he did for us.

Dude, the Cowboys are going to hire Wade Phillips, the Chargers DC. He will keep the 3-4.

Like they already said if they're smart they'll hire Mike Singletary, Wade Phillips is to old. Jerry Jones would probably hire somebody younger then Phillips. If he were to go for an older coach I'd say Dan Reeves would probably be his choice. He's been a HC more recently then Phillips.

On another note I bet the Dolphins wish they would have held off a few more days on hiring a Head Coach. Parcells' last stop could have been south Florida like Pat Riley's.

I think one person people are over looking is Romeo Crennel. If he were able to get out of his Browns contract or if the Cowboys and Browns could do some sort of Gruden/Bellicheck type deal. I can see the Browns trading Crennel for some of the Cowboys' draft picks.

Another name maybe, Al Groh.

There are a few things I have realized about Mr. Jet over a few topics.

1) He is a racist. By constantly using race as a battling tool.
2) He is an extreme Liberal. If you are on either extreme you are probabaly more wrong than right.
3) He is one of those people who will never admit fault, error or defeat.
4)His life sucks and he takes it out on people who don't share in his views.
