u need a wireless router no matter which one u get. the router plugs into the modem, the wireless adaapter plugs into the system and voila.

thats a cheaper way to go if you dont mind the wires. i went wireless. we have 4 PCs/Laptops and an xbox 360 in my house so way too many cables everywhere if we weren't wireless

i perfer the long wire over the wireless method. its just more reliable and for at least me plays more smoothly...i bought a 50 foot wire for 20 bux and if u need it longer you can have someone at home depot make it for you for cheap....

for 50 bucks if u know how to make it you can but a kit of cat5 cable, crimping tool, and 10 cat 5 connectors. its not hard to make

wireless is garbage if u want good latency. which games of course need. ping time isnt as reliable with a wireless connection compared to a hardwired cat5 one.
