So I said OK come get me nad bring me to the court house. (they are required in AZ to do so if requested). Needless to say I was excused.

How does it work? Do you play against the computer or against other players online?

You pick a team, and control them, and trade with the other people, and the creator of the league sims it.

i would but then i'd kill everyone and it wouldn't be fair. JP madden sims everything wrong its so funny.

Tell me about it. I had a team I fantasy drafted and it was just THE most offensive team in the league...wait, it had just an amazing offense. Brooks, Moss, Moss, Travis Henry, Randle el, Winslow, a great OLine. Both Mosses (?) and Randle el were rated in the 90s (both 99s and 93) and Brooks was 99 by my third season. Anytime I played with them, scores through the roof. If I simulated a game...mid-teens, even against lousy defenses.

On the other end of the spectrum, I drafted a team that the defense was outrageous. Peppers, Roy Williams, Smoot, Dyson, Vilma...I spent my first pick in the inital draft on Jamal Lewis and spent the next 11 on defense. In my second year all 11 guys were rated better than 92 and the average defensive starter was a 95; two guys on my team were rated 99 and two more were 98. But if I let the computer run a game, I would get blown out by the worst team in the league, 30-40 points at times. (No need to say I shut down everyone I played, right?)

I know that everyone eventually dominated Madden, even on All-Madden, but when you have just the most impressive groups on either side of the ball should be taken into account. I don't beleive Madden puts much stock into the quality of your players, or at least specifics. I think it just takes the "Overall" ratings for the teams and generates an aribtrary score for the game.
