What did y'all think about the Bernard Hopkins and Jermaine Taylor fight. The offciating was brutal.

Thats the only thing about pro boxing the offcials get their palms greased it seems. Although it was a good fight that went the distance decisons suck and especially in this case.

Maybe I'm not tht style, but I love old Boxing, it's like my 3rd favorate thing ever

Ali, Sugar Ray Lenard, Liston, Patterson...all them I love it

I watch old boxing mathes on ESPN classics all the time

and Floyd Patterson lives about half a mile away from my grandma
Hes really nice guy, I had a 1958 Sport Magazne with him on it, and even though hes very very sick, he took the time to Sign my magazine and then sign a separate 8x10 for me, great guy

thats the pic he signed for me, cept mine said to my dear friend Devon, Floyd Patterson

Thats the magazine he signed for me(cept mine was in better condition)

ALSO, if anyone has this sports ilistradted

I'd really like it

But for some reason, all I ever see curent boxing is lightweight, and I don't like lightweight, cuz its too speedy and like wierd to wacth, cuz their so small..

But if heavyweight is ever on like cable TV, let me know, cuz I like watching it

Damn your lucky. He was a good guy a class act for sure and good job on the autograph keep that for sure.

The old boxers are always fun to watch even if you remember who won the fight. ESPN always has some good classic's that i watch also.

As for lightweights and heavies I watch them all. As long as it's going to be a decent fight.

What do you think about Wladimre Klishkoe. He is nothing like is big brother and he definatly has a glass chin. I saw him just recently try to make a comeback aginst this african fighter and one thing i can't stand is 6'6 or 6'7 boxers those fights are the worst to watch and all they do jab becasue of their reach. thats all Klishko did. But once the smaller fighter got inside he rattled him and knocked him on the canvas. Klishko won that fight but he got lucky and he's to damn tall and his windspan is too much. They should have resrictions on height.

Just my thoughts

Tai Boxing, or Kick boxing. Yea that's fun to watch, mind you I don't look for those kind of fights if I happened to see them on T.V then yea I'll check it out but I'm not a "fan" of it though.

If you like Patterson you should read the book King of the World by David Rimnick. Its mainly about Ali but is also full of stuff about Patterson and Sonny Liston.

Patterson sounded like a good guy who worked for what he got and to get where he got.

I love Ali for his style and his views - he stood up for what he believed in and never changed his mind about his beliefs.

Ali is a beautiful human being. He stood by what was in his heart. Although he had some rough areas about his personality who are we to judge. If their is one person I got a chance to meet his pretty much at the very top of my list/

Ali and Lance Armstrong would be at the top of my list - both great guys who overcame great hurdles to achieve success
