Who do you guys think will win the World Series this year?
I have a feeling the St. Louis Cardinals will win this year. I see them beating either the Red Sox or Yankees to the title.
I think my team Cleveland has a decent chance this year too but I think they are too inexperienced to defeat the Yankees or Red Sox in October right now.
Opinions please

Me too, I can see the Sox repeating or the Cards, and if those Yankees or Mets live up to their potential, they can too, and yes, I said it, the Mets.

First off, it's impossible for the Yanks and As to play each other, they're in the same conference. 
Second, the White Sox upgraded their lineup by trading Aaron Rowand for Jim Thome and I think they just swept the Indians.

I wish the Phillies did better. The have a good solid lineup just the pitching sucks. I mean really sucks. They need serius help.

How about a 2000 Subway Series repeat?
Fifteen years ago after an especially disappointing loss to Miami, Esiason, then the Jets' quarterback, was making the seven-mile drive from the Meadowlands back to Manhattan.
While he was slogging through stop-and-go traffic at the entrance to the Lincoln Tunnel, the car next to him was violently rear-ended. The quarterback threw his car into park, hopped out and ran to the woman whose car had been hit. She was wearing, of all things, an Esiason jersey, and was utterly shocked when he tapped on her window to check on her.
"Are you OK?" he said, trying to keep calm. "Are you OK?"
"Boomer? Is that you?" she asked the Good Samaritan, sounding disoriented. "I think I'm OK, but . ... "
But what?
"But you guys sucked."

Nope Chicago took the 1st game but the Tribe took the next two. Cleveland's 5-1 right now, 5 straight wins too all over divisional opponents. Nothing like getting a jump on your divisional rivals early on.

I hate the Yankees. But I hate the mets to. Anyway, even though I'm a Philly fan I'd still be rooting for NYM in a Subway Series.
