I have Culpepper and Griese. My biggest weak point is QB. I am in a 12 team league with 1 pt per 25 yards and 6 pts per TD. McCown has looked good from what I have read. I know he is on a bye week this week and Kurt Warner comes back in week 7 but I am thinking they will stay with McCown because they were not bad defenses he played against. I think he will at least be better than Griese. Griese has a tough schedule coming up too. Bryon Leftwich is another oprion. Someone dropped him.

PS. Note to a1elbow. Thank you so much for your help. You seem to be pretty knowledgeable.

Before last year Dennis Green said McCown was going to develop into a stud. Then again, he also didn't wait too long to bench him either. Since your backup is Griese and he isn't much better than an OK backup, I'd say go for it. But keep an eye on Arizona, because if McCown has a bad game he could get sat down again.

McCown could be the highest scoring fantasy QB when they play St Louis this season, so at least try to have him for then.
