I say we try out feilder. we signed him for a reason. I believe we would of won the jags game if we had feilder in the whole game.

One last, final last, Pennington start, possibly. We have to remember also that Fabini isn't playing like he used to, and that might be affecting his throws when more pressure is on him.

Vinny! He did throw for 3500 yards last season with a bad team. Did Chad ever do that with a good team? Even at 41, he's in great shape and can learn an offense very quickly. Remember this guy has had to learn a lot of different offenses in 18 seasons, and I'm sure he'd be a great fit in this one. He can actually throw downfield, has a quick release, and although he may be old he doesn't take sacks like Bad Pennington. In 2003 in roughly the same ammount of time playing Chad took something like 3 times the ammount of sacks as Vinny, and Vinny had a much higher QB rating.

If he's healthy we need to start Fielder. If not, then it's Brooks, but if he goes down too, we're really screwed. We need to bring someone in as an insurance policy & I agree that Vinny would be the best insurance we could get right now. The team's still running a lot of offensive plays that Vinny played uder Hackett, so it shouldn't take too long for him to get accustomed to the new stuff given his 17 yrs experience.
Wonder what it would cost to bring in someone with that much time under their belt. Would there be some kind of minimum given that he did play last year or does it go by if you were on the roster at season's start? If not, throw him $1 Mill to come in & be a stop gap, but then keep him on as a QB coach.

I will not be forgotten. This is my time to shine. I've got the scars to prove it. Only the strong survive.

According to what I’m reading fielder is out for the next game. He said whenhe was hit he heard a loud pop in his arm and that he couldn’t even lift it
That was the sound of this season going pop !
