I think that is entirely inappropriate. Im not sure what it takes to become a moderator, I hope it doesnt have to do with how many posts you have because I can sit here and do 1 liners all day long..but I think to be a moderator you should have a little self control and be objective. Jetson has every right to post his opinion and to leave this site if he ultimately chooses to do so. If you have nothing to add to that then keep it to yourself.

Jetson..I do not agree with many of your opinions but that doesnt mean you should leave! If every single person on this site thought the same way, I would never come back. Who needs a topic to look like this:

2) I agree.
3) Me too.

Again ultimately its your choice whether you want to leave or not, but I for one dont think you should. You obviously care about this site otherwise you would not have contributed to it and you obviously care about the Jets, so dont let one or more people take that away from you.

First of all it has nothing to do with how many posts someone has, and second of all Jetson is the only member I have warned or banned in 3 years. Wouldn't you call that self control? Do you think you could do better? There are not many members on this site that can say I have ever treated them unfairly.

To make it quick. I think that if one or 2 people have it in for you then who care's, I know their's 1 mod and a couple people who have it in for me but truthfully I don't give a shit. If they can't handle my opinion then so be it, that's the route I think you should go Jets0n.

I always liked the fact that you never bite your tounge while expressing your opinion or beat around the bush. Life doesn't work like that so why should anybody else. Sometime's people are not always going to read nice polite thing's that's just the way it goes.

Good poster's is what make's this site flourish, other's come and go but the one's who are steady and contribute should not leave on any accord IMO reguradless if some people can't handle it

Let me add one final note...

I just published a set of FORUM RULES, please take a moment to aquaint yourself with them.

This whole issue got out of hand. If someone is being annoying, be the bigger person and ignore them. Any member here has the ability to ignore a member. If you can't just look past their posts, simply click on their member name, then on the top right, you will see a section called "Profile Options", scroll down and select "Ignore User".

On the other hand if you are the type of person that has to flame everyone else, than the new rules are in place and you will no longer be allowed to participate in the Forum.

jets0n, you have made many intelligent, well thought out posts on this site, but at the same time, you are way too volatile. If you don't agree with someone, make your rebuttal based on facts or just opinion and move on. Like I said in my PM to you, I have never had a personal problem with you, and if you can follow these new rules, you are welcome to stay.

Bluelinecop: There is not one member on this site more valuable. What many of you guys don't realize here is how many times I get a personal call from him trying to improve on this site and make us better. My wife is starting to get jealous. If there is an MVP on this site, it is Blueline. With that being said, I do believe Blueline got sucked into a personal battle with jets0n and it spilled out onto the forums.
