Jets are doing jets related things also... THE KNICKS.
SecondHandJets Icon : (Yesterday, 03:21 PM) You're not in NY. All the backpages are focused on Sanchez
SecondHandJets Icon : (Yesterday, 03:21 PM) None of the NY media even mention Cruz or Nicks
Jetsfan115 Icon : (Yesterday, 03:40 PM) nicks isn't holding out. he's injured still and taking it easy. cruz is holding out. why it isn't a big ordeal IDK. it would be for us
Jetsman05 Icon : (Yesterday, 04:02 PM) maybe because theyre not that far off.
Jetsman05 Icon : (Yesterday, 04:02 PM) Cruz wants to return back, they'll figure it out.
Jetsfan115 Icon : (Yesterday, 04:41 PM) 3 mil a year off or 30% less then cruz wants. tahst alot of money to be off
Jetsfan115 Icon : (Yesterday, 04:41 PM) cruz doens't want to leave NY cause teh extra money he'll get in endorsements plus he knows taht they can RFA him this year and then Franchise next year so he might not be able to get a LTD for 3 years
Mr_Jet Icon : (Yesterday, 05:21 PM) Clemens11/Tebow15 (soon to be Smith7) said if we had just drafted Crabtree and Nicks and kept Clemens, we'd be good.
Jetsfan0099 Icon : (Yesterday, 06:44 PM) No, he can't be Smith7
Jetsfan0099 Icon : (Yesterday, 06:44 PM) his name is reserved for garbage QBs, we don't want Geno to be bad
Jetsfan0099 Icon : (Yesterday, 06:44 PM) He can be McElroy14
extmenace Icon : (Yesterday, 06:51 PM) we're taking bridgewater next year with the number 1 pick and treating geno like a jimmy clausen.
Jetsfan0099 Icon : (Yesterday, 06:53 PM) What makes Bridgewater better than Geno?
HurricaneJet32 Icon : (Yesterday, 07:12 PM) everything
Jetsman05 Icon : (Yesterday, 07:56 PM) ^
Jetsfan0099 Icon : (Yesterday, 08:16 PM) college players always get hyped up before the draft process, just wondering what makes him so much better.
Jetsman05 Icon : (Yesterday, 08:19 PM) Stronger arm, plays in a pro system, better throwing motion, better athlete
Jetsman05 Icon : (Yesterday, 08:19 PM) there's probably nothing Geno does right now that's better than what Teddy does
SecondHandJets Icon : (Yesterday, 10:25 PM) Wouldn't it be funny with Bridgewater ends up having the type of season Barkley had?
Jetsfan0099 Icon : (Today, 07:48 AM) better athlete but never runs as well
Jetsfan0099 Icon : (Today, 07:48 AM) stronger arm but rarely throws deep
Jetsfan0099 Icon : (Today, 07:48 AM) I am trying to find this article, but Bridgewater had about the least amount of 40+ throws in college football
Jetsfan0099 Icon : (Today, 07:49 AM) I wouldn't surprise me if he wasn't viewed as highly next year. College players always get hyped up a year before the draft process. People change their opinions quickly.
Jetsman05 Icon : (Today, 07:56 AM) I'll put a good amount of money that Bridgewater is still highly regarded coming out next year.
Jetsfan0099 Icon : (Today, 08:00 AM) ok I found the chart
Jetsfan0099 Icon : (Today, 08:00 AM) Bridgewater had 0% of his passes go 40+ yards in college
Jetsfan0099 Icon : (Today, 08:02 AM) he could be, I'll wait though
Jetsfan0099 Icon : (Today, 08:02 AM) I doubt Smith will be as bad as Clausen anyways
Jetsfan0099 Icon : (Today, 08:03 AM) I remember watching Clausen in a NFL game and the guy couldn't even throw a spiral.
Jetsfan0099 Icon : (Today, 08:03 AM) Geno has been impressing teammates with how well he can spin the ball and sling it.
Jetsman05 Icon : (Today, 08:31 AM) I hope Geno turns out to be a f***ing monster
Jetsfan115 Icon : (Today, 10:52 AM) andrew luck was hyped up for like 3 years before he entered teh draft
Jetsman05 Icon : (Today, 11:34 AM) tehhhh
Jetsfan0099 Icon : (Today, 11:37 AM) it wasn't for 3 years and Andrew Luck is the best QB prospect to come out in years. Teddy Bridgewater most likely isn't Luck or RGIII
Jetsfan0099 Icon : (Today, 11:40 AM) I've only seen Bridgewater play once. That was against Florida, I actually watched that game.
Jetsman05 Icon : (Today, 12:12 PM) Teddy will be a good NFL QB I think
MikeGangGree... Icon : (Today, 12:52 PM) THE KNICKS
Jetsman05 Icon : (Today, 01:21 PM) THE. KNICKS.
SecondHandJets Icon : (Today, 02:43 PM) Geno was the favorite to win the Heisman this time last year
SecondHandJets Icon : (Today, 02:44 PM) He was also a Top 5 pick this time last year
SecondHandJets Icon : (Today, 02:44 PM) If he came out in 2012, he might have gotten drafted before RG3
SecondHandJets Icon : (Today, 02:56 PM) TEH KNICKS
Jetsfan0099 Icon : (Today, 03:25 PM) noway he would have been drafted before RGIII
HarlemHxC814 Icon : (Today, 04:00 PM) Tehhhh
Jetsfan115 Icon : (Today, 04:12 PM) chuck norris said tebow is a great QB. i'm so conflicted becuase tebow sucks but on the other hand if chuck norris said it, it must be true lol

Coming from the guy who incessantly posts edited posts proclaiming "I <3 Balls just accept it" (while that may be comical), doesn't do much for your "this-is-stupid" argument.
I missed the segway between bad grammar and stupidity and the Paris Hilton glorification? Aren't those complete opposites? One promotes scholarship and the other idealizes spoil brattiness.

I listened to jetsman's myspace and i must say that it might be the worst thing i have ever heard in my whole entire life. its so bad its funny. I have never laughed so hard in my life. It sounds like you are reading off a peice of paper and you cant even read your own hand writing. God damn...i do not listen to a lot of rap but i know what is awful...

I also love the part on your myspace page that says you have already sold 12 records....

and that 9-9 song is awesome. do you hustle from 9-9 because at 9:00am you have to go to school and at 9:00pm its your bed time?

keep it treal

Note: If you don't have anything nice to intelligent to say about Revis or Eliteblazers then don't bother posting in this thread

Unfortunately I wasn't able to respond to you're post and frankly I was suprised that you wrote that. We'll that you wrote that in that way. It didn't seem like that was you typing. For everyone in here, Elite is a damn good poster and a knowledgable fan on the NFL level and on the NCAA level. Him and Hurricanejet are our College experts.

Theres no doubt that elite took a tounge lashing in here but even I can say that the rant about Revis was done in a poor manner. Dude you must have been furious for you to write a post like that. Come on bro you're better then that. Hell I'm pissed with this whole ordeal as well and I totally understand where you're coming from. The kid is a damn rookie for crying out load. The Jets moved up and sold the farm to get him and he pisses on us like this? I'm totally behind you on this. Some of the guys in here instead of insulting elite with a petty issue like grammar need to take notice that he's on point with the post. Revis is so wrong for doing what he's doing but I don't think this all Revis. Revis's agent is Kendall's agent so he's probably deliberately causing sh!t because of the Jets and Kendall situation. Which I think is a horrible way to conduct business and I'm almost 95% sure that if Revis had another agent he would be in camp. That little rat bastard agent is playing hard ball all because of the Kendall dealings (or lack there of).

Unfortuately we don't know the whole story but I agree with elite in the fact that Revis hasn't even taken 1 NFL snap and he's acting like he's some seasoned vet and although this is business he's casting a very erie shadow for the fans.

Just my take on things. Don't cast Revis like he's the guy because I have a strange feeling that his agent is being a prick on purpose.

I agree completely, I think the agent is telling and looking at it like this. Its only 1 mill Kendall is asking for, and only 1 year that Revis is asking for. So the agent is making the Jets FO look like the bad person in this. Any other agent, and Revis was signed a week ago, or more.

As i wrote in the last thread before it was closed....Look at the trend of this years draft...They all signed 5 year deals. For all revis knows this could be his first and last contract in the NFL. Who knows how good revis will be or what could happen in the future. The overall number has basiclly been shown with the 15th and 17th picks signing. Why sign a contract for 6 years when u can basiclly get the same contract for 5 years? He gets more money per year and gets paid faster. It would be different if all the other picks signed 6 year contracts but that is not the case. I want revis in camp just as much as the next guy but like you said this is a business. Like i also said in the last thread...Its no big deal when a team cuts a player...they take the cap his and its over. But on the other side if a player is cut the contract turns to nothing. If i am in the same position i would want the 5 year deal as well. More money per year...who wouldnt want that?

The problem here is you all assume that revis is going to be a pro bowl CB. Maybe he will maybe he wont but in his defense what happens if he isnt? What happens if he gets hurt? well if he is playing in his 4th year and he runs into one of those situations what contract would he,you or me rather have? This is a business and you guys need to take a chill pill. He will be signed...but the deal needs to make both sides happy. If revis turns out to be the player we all hope he can be....well he will be resigned anyways by his 4th year most likely. but if he isnt he can play out his contract and have less of a chance to be cut and if he is cut he walks away with more money. This is his job he is looking out for his best interests. He isnt doing this to piss anyone off. He probably is just as frustrated as the fans are....

and for the attacks on elite....nothing from me lol...

in all seriousness, we really have no right to get involved in other peoples financial business. this could be the biggest contract revis ever recieves and since 10,11,12,13,and 15 all got 5 years revis is right to hold out. the best compromise i can think of is give revis an inflated 6th year for like 9 mil. Still that post u made was very immature of you and i expected better. you've always been a good poster but that was out of line
