Actually: our starting D has been excellent. It's when the reserves are in that things go downhill. If you notice, most of those reserves were starters for us within the last 2 years. So, granted our starting D USED to look like swiss cheese, things have changed.



Honestly, I hope you J-E-T-S jets underestimate them as much as you are. It'll be long and painful for you to watch.

history is against you. u have what 4 new starters on defense? it usually takes a few weeks to gel. the jets d sucked the first 2 weeks last year and then dominated. if it was week 4 i'd be more worried about them

Wilkerson at DE, DJ at OLB, Bell at OLB, Surtain at CB, Knight at SS.


Add to those 5 (which is almost half the defense, and as close as you'll get without a half-person) the fact that Mitchell has come alive this pre-season and automatically we have more than half of a new look on D.
