Jets are doing jets related things also... THE KNICKS.
extmenace Icon : (Yesterday, 06:51 PM) we're taking bridgewater next year with the number 1 pick and treating geno like a jimmy clausen.
Jetsfan0099 Icon : (Yesterday, 06:53 PM) What makes Bridgewater better than Geno?
HurricaneJet32 Icon : (Yesterday, 07:12 PM) everything
Jetsman05 Icon : (Yesterday, 07:56 PM) ^
Jetsfan0099 Icon : (Yesterday, 08:16 PM) college players always get hyped up before the draft process, just wondering what makes him so much better.
Jetsman05 Icon : (Yesterday, 08:19 PM) Stronger arm, plays in a pro system, better throwing motion, better athlete
Jetsman05 Icon : (Yesterday, 08:19 PM) there's probably nothing Geno does right now that's better than what Teddy does
SecondHandJets Icon : (Yesterday, 10:25 PM) Wouldn't it be funny with Bridgewater ends up having the type of season Barkley had?
Jetsfan0099 Icon : (Today, 07:48 AM) better athlete but never runs as well
Jetsfan0099 Icon : (Today, 07:48 AM) stronger arm but rarely throws deep
Jetsfan0099 Icon : (Today, 07:48 AM) I am trying to find this article, but Bridgewater had about the least amount of 40+ throws in college football
Jetsfan0099 Icon : (Today, 07:49 AM) I wouldn't surprise me if he wasn't viewed as highly next year. College players always get hyped up a year before the draft process. People change their opinions quickly.
Jetsman05 Icon : (Today, 07:56 AM) I'll put a good amount of money that Bridgewater is still highly regarded coming out next year.
Jetsfan0099 Icon : (Today, 08:00 AM) ok I found the chart
Jetsfan0099 Icon : (Today, 08:00 AM) Bridgewater had 0% of his passes go 40+ yards in college
Jetsfan0099 Icon : (Today, 08:02 AM) he could be, I'll wait though
Jetsfan0099 Icon : (Today, 08:02 AM) I doubt Smith will be as bad as Clausen anyways
Jetsfan0099 Icon : (Today, 08:03 AM) I remember watching Clausen in a NFL game and the guy couldn't even throw a spiral.
Jetsfan0099 Icon : (Today, 08:03 AM) Geno has been impressing teammates with how well he can spin the ball and sling it.
Jetsman05 Icon : (Today, 08:31 AM) I hope Geno turns out to be a f***ing monster
Jetsfan115 Icon : (Today, 10:52 AM) andrew luck was hyped up for like 3 years before he entered teh draft
Jetsman05 Icon : (Today, 11:34 AM) tehhhh
Jetsfan0099 Icon : (Today, 11:37 AM) it wasn't for 3 years and Andrew Luck is the best QB prospect to come out in years. Teddy Bridgewater most likely isn't Luck or RGIII
Jetsfan0099 Icon : (Today, 11:40 AM) I've only seen Bridgewater play once. That was against Florida, I actually watched that game.
Jetsman05 Icon : (Today, 12:12 PM) Teddy will be a good NFL QB I think
MikeGangGree... Icon : (Today, 12:52 PM) THE KNICKS
Jetsman05 Icon : (Today, 01:21 PM) THE. KNICKS.
SecondHandJets Icon : (Today, 02:43 PM) Geno was the favorite to win the Heisman this time last year
SecondHandJets Icon : (Today, 02:44 PM) He was also a Top 5 pick this time last year
SecondHandJets Icon : (Today, 02:44 PM) If he came out in 2012, he might have gotten drafted before RG3
SecondHandJets Icon : (Today, 02:56 PM) TEH KNICKS
Jetsfan0099 Icon : (Today, 03:25 PM) noway he would have been drafted before RGIII
HarlemHxC814 Icon : (Today, 04:00 PM) Tehhhh
Jetsfan115 Icon : (Today, 04:12 PM) chuck norris said tebow is a great QB. i'm so conflicted becuase tebow sucks but on the other hand if chuck norris said it, it must be true lol
Jetsman05 Icon : (Today, 09:21 PM) Geno was not the favorite to win the heisman going into the year lol
Jetsman05 Icon : (Today, 09:21 PM) you don't watch college football, stop
Jetsman05 Icon : (Today, 09:23 PM) He might not even of been in the second tier of players
SecondHandJets Icon : (Today, 09:25 PM) I've read a ton of articles and all had him as the favorite
SecondHandJets Icon : (Today, 09:25 PM) Who was the favorite then?
SecondHandJets Icon : (Today, 09:27 PM) "Smith was already going to be on most Heisman preseason lists, but a 407-yard, 6-TD performance in the Orange Bowl win over Clemson only solidified him as an elite passer. He can make every throw on the field and has a plethora of talented receivers coming back. Since this team will likely be playing in the Big 12, which has had the uncanny knack for inflating quarterback numbers recently, Smith and head coach Dana Holgorsen are going to leave opposing defenses charred and crippled on most Saturdays."
SecondHandJets Icon : (Today, 09:27 PM) That's from a Jan 2012 article
SecondHandJets Icon : (Today, 09:27 PM) You can google shit from 14 months ago and find a f*** ton of these

Gonna go to the Yanks game tonight, thanks to a guy my Dad works for and he's getting us tickets right behind the Yanks dugout, so I might be on TV. Gonna wear a Yankees hat, a shirt that on the front that says "got rings?" (basically like got milk) and a pair of shorts. I'll probably have a glove and a ball, which might end up getting signed. cool2.gif
Should be a Yankee win with The Moose pitching tonight.

Scratch that, we're sitting right behind home plate in the 7th row, scout seats, in section 131. Check it out on the field: http://chicago.white...ark_seating.jsp

Well yesterday kicked ass, even though we lost. We got there when the Yankees were doing batting practice, I stood right near where the net thing ends by the first base dugout (the Yankees one).
Actually there weren't alot of fans wanting autos, maybe around 75, usually there's more like 150, but no one came, but I remember Giambi looked like he wanted to sign for people, he kept looking at us, smiling and waving, but he was late so he didn't hae as miuch time, but he signed like 5 things for some people with their arms in the dugout.
I kept calling for Cano, and at first he gave me these weird looks, more like glares. But what stood out was everytime he went in the on deck circle in the game, he looked right at me, not in a mean or nice way, but he did look at me. But no one signed.
So right after BP, when the groundskeepers were clearing the fields, it rained, and they bought out the tarp. But this place comes with all the goodies (you're paying $180 for tickets, but of course, we didn't have to pay a penny for it yahoo.gif) so we get to go in a special restaurant where they had a buffet with AMAZING food and food choices. I remeber when I went up there the first of my 3 trips, I saw Kenny Williams, the Sox GM, talking to some other guy. And then when I was coming back from my first trip, I saw a sign that said Ron Kittle, Moose Skowron, and Dan Paqua were there. The guy who gave us the tickets said they were here to sign. I grabbed my ball and went right to Skowron, since I know he was the Yanks 1st baseman from 1954 as a rookie to sometime until he got traded to the Sox in the 60s. There were 4 guys in front of me, and Moose was smiling and laughing with them, he's a good guy. So I asked him about the Yanks and he said whenever someone asks about the Yanks he has to say the Sox since he's still under contract with them, but he won 4 World Series rings with the Yanks so he really liked them better. But he also told me Mickey Mantle was the coolest guy on the team and when I asked him about Whitey Ford he told me just saw him last week and hes doing good. He's a great guy and has perfect penmanship.
The food was delicious and we stood outside the Yanks clubhouse doing 2 things. Waiting for them to come out with their cell phones and waiting for the rain to stop. But it was cool since it's all inclusive, you can go anywhere, and I was constantly going back and fourth from the tunnel we were in to the field, and on one trip, about 10 minutes before gametime, I walked over there for one last look, a door swings open behind me, and Ozzie Guillen steps out. So I was walking side to side with him, afraid to say anything (he might call me a fuc*ing *beep* and spit on me) for about 5 seconds, which was really cool...and nerveracking.
But we finally got the game started, and I rember right before it when the annoncer was like "WHITE SOX FANS GET ON YOUR FEET!!!" I sat down, and Derek Jeter was standing there, looking in my general direction. I waved at him, gave him a thumbs up and said "Yo da man!!!" and he gave a small grin at me.
But the game was good (had to take a break in the sixth to get some desert at the buffet cool2.gif), I remember when Cabrera hit that moon shot to right I waved my rally towel around. I'll say this, lotta drunks. Exciting though, right to the end. I hope the we can do this again, cause the guy who gave us the tickets is a season ticket holder (for those seats and everyting with it, and for 4 seats, that's $50000). Can't wait till next time!!!
But Smallguy, that may have been me, there was a guy with a green shirt in our row but IDK if he ever stood up. But an old friend from NY called my Dad around the 4th inning said she saw us.
Sorry for one long ass post.
And I forgot to mention, I saw Sidney Ponson on his cell when were going to eat, he was just standing outside the clubhouse. And Minie Minoso was standing right in our section, but he left after awhile.

You should have talked to Ozzie man, at least you know he'd reply and I doubt he'd mouth off at a kid like you. If you said something to him like: "I agree Jay Mariotti is a f*g" then he'd probably have spoke to you. cool2.gif
You're one lucky kid though getting all of that for free.

But IDK how to use that thing, vilmatime, but some people saw us on TV.
