aspirin does the same thing as alcohgol to help. it thins the blood. it all depends which u prefer. and as far as smoking i live with smokers and am always around it but it doens't kill. the scince isn't their to prove ti does

I didn't figure you actually did.  But I know there are people out there who do and it is a shame.

One thing I've never understood is why people need to find reasons to drink.  THings like drinking games, silly holidays, etc...if you are a college guy and want to get drunk, get drunk.  You don't have to play some aimless card game just to do it.

beer isnt exactly the best tasting thing in the world. if someone wants to get drunk, the games are to pass the time, get it going and have some fun. i dont think many people drink just to play a game.

Ok everyone over 21 I think I might have found the best light beer. Labatts light from canada. I had a couple last weekend and they were awesome.

I have friends and family from Toronto, Ontario and i go over there frequently and for those whom may have heard and for those who haven't the beer there is far better then our domestic.

Their are more but let me tell you they can kill the beer that we have to drink. To be honest American beer sucks. Imported beer from overseas's i find better and the same with Canadian beer. It's so much stronger and better tasting the American beer.

For those of you that like Bud, you will think you have been drinking water once you have a bottle of Canandain brewed beer.

I can't stand girly drinks. 1} because they are too sweet 2} If you drink enough of them thats when you get the hangover's and the irritability in the morning because they are so loaded with suger. I can have a couple MAX and thats it but if I'm drinking at a party or a club I have to drink beer,or hard liquor.

yeah well saturday i went over to vodka (so i wouldn't get a headache) and was drinking rasberry smirnoff, along with some shit called abstant (supposedly it was the stuff van gogh drank. its a blue minty stuff that had alcohol and worm seed oil in it. and carona and dman my head was splitting before i even sobered up and continued all sunday. good thing the jets didn't play cause with the way i was feeling i would have been pissed if we lost

Absinthe?  It's contains wormwood and has some hallucinogenic effects. if you have the real stuff and not moonshine type quality.  I've never had it but I know a lot of people who did.  It's actually illegal to make or bring into the country here, and the same in most countries.

yeah. thats what it was. the chick that bought it said her brother bought it over from another country. they said it makes u hallucinate but i only had 2 shots of it so it didn't effect me like that. it starts to hurt your stomach at first. good stuff though.

Iis the impurities in drinks that give hangovers, well, most of the time.  That is why you get less hangovers from, for example, a micro-brew than a Coors Light.  Coors friggin fills their beer with all manner of junk, so it gives you a headache drinking a bunch of crap.  It is like eating a lot of processed food all at once and getting the runs.  SO a bunch of girly drinks, probably made with cheaper liqours, is a pretty nasty thing to do to your tomorrow-self.  Girls can only handle a couple of them, so they can take the little bit of a hangover they get.

I agree that American domestic is awful.  Even if you get a good quality lager in America, it is made to be the companies' alternative to Budweiser.

My favorite beers (and sorry if you haven't heard of all of them, a lot are from smaller companies) are:

New Belgium 1554
Guinness (it deserves the hype it gets)
New Castle
Sierra Nevada Pale Ale (the only Pale ale I like, the rest are too weak)
el Pacifico (a great Mexican beer that doesn't get the attention XX gets)

A "cheaper" beer that I think is decent would be Killian's Red.  On sale it can be as cheap as the primary domestics.  Rolling Rock isn't too bad either, I would actually say it is the best of what I consider that level of beer.

A guy I know bought a Stout the other day, but it was a $12 fancy thing, and it was amazing.  One of the two brewery/restraunts in town makes a really good beer called an Oil Change, heaviest beer I have ever had.
Oh, and I've had some Vodka I could almost drink, but it was really expensive.  I don't drink much liqour straight, mostly because I don't like most liqours, but Bourbons can be pretty good on their own and I love Gin.  Gin is a wonderous thing.

I have had both el pacifico and sierra nevada, they are both excellent. I also like fosters, bass ale and modelo negro. If you want to try a really expensive one try samuel smiths nut brown ale. it is awesome.

If you guys want something that tastes good, try different mixes of stuff, for instance, peach schnapps mixed with lemonade actually tastes great, and captain morgan's coconut mixed with dr. pepper tastes like vanilla coke. I usually have a few of these at family parties or whatever, if people are making drinks. Just giving out some info...please dont start with the under 21 bashing again.

I hear from a friend of mine that Diet soda and rum is excellent to drink alot of and not get a hangover.

Becasue of the diet it gives you No Carbs and No suger and is excellent to mix with Rum. Myself and a freind of mine drank alot one night last week and i woke up and i felt like I never drank anything the previous night. A very good combo for drinkers who has the intension to get bombed. Next time your at your local bar or if you jst stay home try that mix, it's easy on the stomache
