MikeGangGree... Icon : (Today, 08:05 PM) Like im a XL so when I get a NFL jersey I get a L
MikeGangGree... Icon : (Today, 08:05 PM) Im getting it for a friend
Jetsfan0099 Icon : (Today, 08:13 PM) SIGN WILL HILL
Jetsfan0099 Icon : (Today, 08:14 PM) There are some decent FAs I hope we go after, we have like $48 mil in cap space, plus more once we get rid of Chris Johnson and Calvin Pace.
Jetsfan0099 Icon : (Today, 08:14 PM) We'll have over $50 mil to spend
MikeGangGree... Icon : (Today, 08:52 PM) sign everyone!!!!
HarlemHxC814 Icon : (Today, 08:54 PM) I'd love to grab Cobb, Julius Thomas, and Mike Iupati
HarlemHxC814 Icon : (Today, 08:56 PM) Lol for someone who doesn't like me and doesn't pay attention to what I have to say, GG sure loves talking about me
HarlemHxC814 Icon : (Today, 08:56 PM) It's ok though buddy I love you
MikeGangGree... Icon : (Today, 08:57 PM) We just need a QB to throw to them
Jetsfan0099 Icon : (Today, 09:17 PM) Cobb isn't leaving the Packers
Jetsfan0099 Icon : (Today, 09:18 PM) I hope we keep Harvin
MikeGangGree... Icon : (Today, 09:28 PM) I like Harvin but I don't think we should pay him that much
MikeGangGree... Icon : (Today, 09:29 PM) but if we can get a WR keep him
MikeGangGree... Icon : (Today, 09:40 PM) idk how cap works sometime
MikeGangGree... Icon : (Today, 09:41 PM) how can Denver have 31 mil in space?
MikeGangGree... Icon : (Today, 09:43 PM) but I guess since they have to pay both Thomas this year that will go fast
MikeGangGree... Icon : (Today, 09:45 PM) and have to pay miller next year
Jetsfan0099 Icon : (Today, 10:20 PM) Are they not counting PEyton Manning?
Jetsfan0099 Icon : (Today, 10:22 PM) A lot of their players increase cap hits after this season
Jetsfan0099 Icon : (Today, 10:22 PM) you can work the numbers
Jetsfan0099 Icon : (Today, 10:25 PM) if we release Harvin, we won't get him back most likely. Hes the most dynamic offensive player we have had in a while.
Jetsfan0099 Icon : (Today, 10:26 PM) Plus he has no guaranteed money so we can release him at any time for no cap hits. Maybe they can rework his contract, but I hope we keep him
Jetsfan0099 Icon : (Today, 10:26 PM) I think he will awesome in Chan's offense, maybe worth the $10 mil
HarlemHxC814 Icon : (Today, 10:40 PM) We still have to pay Mo too
Jetsfan0099 Icon : (Today, 10:47 PM) yup. We also happen to be in the big years of Mangolds' and Brick's contracts
Jetsfan0099 Icon : (Today, 10:48 PM) Brick either restructures after this season or is released, noway he stays at $14 mil
Jetsfan0099 Icon : (Today, 10:48 PM) I think he does restructure though, can't imagine Brick wanting to play elsewhere. I see him as a career Jet
Jetsfan0099 Icon : (Today, 10:51 PM) need to re-sign Demario Davis and Damon Harrison as well
Jetsfan0099 Icon : (Today, 10:52 PM) they shouldn't cost much though
HarlemHxC814 Icon : (Today, 10:57 PM) I'd really love to bring in Franklin or Iupati
Jetsfan0099 Icon : (Today, 10:59 PM) Franklin, Iupati, or Boling I would be happy with. We need a good OG.
Jetsfan0099 Icon : (Today, 10:59 PM) I think that Oday would be fine as a starter for one spot, he showed promise. Plus it would be a competition between Oday, Winters, and Dozier.

Big Changes This Season for Big Jinx
Posted on November 20th, 2008 by Bassett The change of scenery has been a welcome transition for Kris Jenkins, but reporters in the 8-2 Panthers press pool are noticing a change in the locker room in Carolina, but no one’s willing to come right out and say what it’s all about.

Fullback Brad Hoover mentioned there are no “bad apples” anymore.

Added Peppers: “In the past we might have had one or two guys that wanted to do their own thing, and cause a little ruckus.”

Damione Lewis, who took Jenkins’ spot on the line, was a little more direct.

“He handled situations in a way that weren’t really appropriate for the team,” Lewis said.

Make no mistake, Jenkins is an incredible talent - a freakish athlete who is speedy, strong and dominant despite his massive frame. It’s just that he had grown tired of Carolina, and the Panthers had certainly grown weary of his act.

Two months after Jenkins questioned whether he wanted to stay in Carolina, the Panthers granted his wish. Jenkins, armed with the new contract he wanted for years, is now motivated and probably a better fit in the Jets’ 3-4 defence.

Meanwhile, Jenkins is glad of his new start, writes Newsday’s Erik Boland.

“It was always something,” he said of his seven seasons with the Panthers. “I could never figure out why things got to where they did. But I’m glad I’m right where I’m at.”

Jets fans have welcomed Jenkins with open arms and he’s been a huge upgrade for this defense. I was watching some of the Broncos games this past week, and there was our old friend D-Rob … getting pushed backwards by a Falcons offensive line like he was Superman slowing a runaway freight train. The difference on the line and who controls the line of scrimmage this season is in large part thanks to Jenkins.

Jenkins has enjoyed the fresh start, and his teammates appreciate him and what he’s done for the team. He’s taken the role of one of the team’s spokesmen, something he does with alacrity. But the team knows his history and has set up his contract as such (setting up many weight based bonuses) so my hope is that he stays engaged and enthused about football … as long as he’s in New York.

Wow they're exagerating that a bit. If it were that bad why would you only be hearing this much about it now from some nobody article. Yeah he didn't like it in Carolina...whether it was the coaches...teammates...or as he said...just being in freakin north carolina. Who can blame him? Dude likes cities...welcome to New York....uuurrrr....jerwsey....

I've already read some articles where Jenkins said he's done some stupid things in the past and regrets it. He also said he's changed, so I can care less how he was in Carolina. He's been doing great so far and everyone on the team loves him.

Sometimes guys need a fresh start, maybe he did need to do some growing up, maybe he clashed with the coaches there, maybe he was not on the best terms with his teammates, it happens, sometimes we all could use a new start.

All I know is he is now a Jet, he has been a Godsend for our Defense, his teammates look up to him, the fans love him, and it most likely would not have happened if he got along with everyone down in Carolina, so things have worked out for the best for him and the Jets.
