Well if he didn't throw three picks, maybe he would never have to know about ties.

Um..

I'm starting to think that there is some validity to what T.O. said about this guy a few years back.
“We know we’re better than you, we don’t give a f*ck if you know it or not, we don’t give a sh*t if you give us your best game, we’re gonna give you our best game and we’re gonna beat the f*ck outta ya. How’s that?”

No not quite, they were fine with Reid before he became a complete moron, McNabb has been on thin ice for a few years now.

Instal Hamels as the HC & Rollins as QB - that should keep Philly fans happy for a day!

I didnt think it was possible anymore either .. I mean I knew there were in the past .. but I thought they did away with them a while back .. of corse I dont QB and NFL franchise either .. but I could see making the mistake .. Ive always like McNabb .. so maybe Im sticking up for him a little bit .. but I dont think its a big deal .. he wasnt calling the plays was he?

as for there being a tie in the super bowl .. that (along with all post season games) must end in a win .. I heard them talking about it on ESPN yesterday

Then tell him to fuckin get a clue. I love Leon but how the hell do these players not know there are ties in the NFL? I mean, they've been happening for years.

I don't care if Leon knew or he didn't. When you are a Q.B you are supposed to know things other players and positions don't. You supposed to very meticulous with your craft. Q.B's (due to good coaching) should be mentally aware of each game time possibility. You mean know one of the field at all, player or coach ran through the possibilities when it was getting late in the O.T period?

It's not just McNabb but the coaching is to blame as well. Quarterbacks should know this, their the game manager. Not someone like Leon.

Leon Washington should be aware of this also! He is the KO returner PR, field position is everything in OT...his 2 main responsibilities are to do just that....he doesn't get an OK, because he isn't the QB....

That any single player in the NFL does not know that you can tie is ridiculous. Regardless of position or team, EVERYONE should know. I'd be surprised if anyone on this board didn't know...

All I care about is Leon knowing the rule about fielding kickoffs out of bounds. And similar rules. And for every player. It's important for players to know the rules but I don't think ties are as important to know as the holding rule of the running out of bounds rule for example.
