your trying too hard and ovrthinking it. its natural to do as a teenager but you should relax, take a deep breath and not overthink it. don't plan what your gonna say just go with the flow.

Ahhh but don't be too caring, she'll pull the "your like a brother to me," which unfortunately happened to me alot last year. Sounds like you got it down if you can put your arm around her and call her baby, seems like you are set. Time to take it up a notch and buy her dinner or something

Hate to drop the atom bomb here, but first off, as a 14 year old, what's the chance of a long term relationship (and at our age that could be like 2 months) here??? And since most likely you won't hang out with her so much, don't put out a bunch of money for her.
That's why I don't want a girlfriend. In order to keep one, I'll have to spend money for her on crap like clothes and makeup. But then I won't be able to buy baseball and football cards, or NFL Sunday Ticket or NFL Network, or get tickets to a Yankees or Jets game (and if I do, I'll have to probably drag her with me, and since it's a girl, a complaining little ass ruining something I'd look forward too).
And dude, I know nothing about these kinda relationships, but you're thinking this out WAY WAY WAY too much. Any time I play a sport and think too much, I end up not thinking on the sport but thinking of thinking on that and I do bad. I've had that happen when I'm hitting in baseball, I'l struckout looking on a pitch down the middle, and then realize that kids my age just try and throw strikes, not mess up your timing and I feel like a dork. My solution is don't think and just clear my head, and then I'm a good hitter
So I'd just trust your brain don't think and do whatever you think is the first thing right that pops in your mind.
And quite frankly, IDK if alot of people really care about it. Dude, learn by experience, I bet that 99.99% of the people who first started dating made mistakes. You'll have to endure those too. So face facts.
Think of yourself as the Jets, you got the tools in place, but you have to learn how to use them. So this year won't be your best year. Then next year, and you'll do better from experience and get half of the wins. Then the year after that, you're Super Bowl bound (or in this dating case I guess we have to switch sports and say about to hit a grand slam???)

I agree. Samething happens to me when I'm about to catch a high pop(baseball) or long pass (football) I drop it. But when I have fun, I do great. Sandlot....Sandlot....Sandlot....
