Jets are doing jets related things also... THE KNICKS.
ganggreen2003 Icon : (Yesterday, 12:04 PM) he's a completely weak-minded individual
ganggreen2003 Icon : (Yesterday, 12:04 PM) already back to doing what he did last season THROWING INT's
ganggreen2003 Icon : (Yesterday, 12:04 PM) sucks that Garrard retired but I'd rather suffer with Geno going through growing pains than keeping Sanchez under center in 2013
Jetsman05 Icon : (Yesterday, 12:33 PM) haha gg03 throwing in the towel on sanch!
mgjetman Icon : (Yesterday, 01:37 PM) What a way to make sporrts center already, Mark......
mgjetman Icon : (Yesterday, 01:39 PM) Sanch owns the #1 blooper of all time with that butt fumble also and to make matters worse he threw it right to a friggin Pat...
Jetsfan115 Icon : (Yesterday, 01:53 PM) buttfumble on thanksgiving was the low point of his career
Jetsfan0099 Icon : (Yesterday, 01:55 PM) Teammates talking shut about Sanchez
SecondHandJets Icon : (Yesterday, 02:11 PM) In case you haven't heard, because why would anyone report on the Giants, Nicks is also holding out
SecondHandJets Icon : (Yesterday, 02:11 PM) That makes both Cruz and Nicks.
SecondHandJets Icon : (Yesterday, 02:11 PM) But who cares, Sanchez threw 3 "interceptions"!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Jetsman05 Icon : (Yesterday, 02:59 PM) ?
Jetsman05 Icon : (Yesterday, 02:59 PM) why would we give a f*** about the Giants?
santana Icon : (Yesterday, 03:04 PM) gg03 jimmies are riled
SecondHandJets Icon : (Yesterday, 03:21 PM) You're not in NY. All the backpages are focused on Sanchez
SecondHandJets Icon : (Yesterday, 03:21 PM) None of the NY media even mention Cruz or Nicks
Jetsfan115 Icon : (Yesterday, 03:40 PM) nicks isn't holding out. he's injured still and taking it easy. cruz is holding out. why it isn't a big ordeal IDK. it would be for us
Jetsman05 Icon : (Yesterday, 04:02 PM) maybe because theyre not that far off.
Jetsman05 Icon : (Yesterday, 04:02 PM) Cruz wants to return back, they'll figure it out.
Jetsfan115 Icon : (Yesterday, 04:41 PM) 3 mil a year off or 30% less then cruz wants. tahst alot of money to be off
Jetsfan115 Icon : (Yesterday, 04:41 PM) cruz doens't want to leave NY cause teh extra money he'll get in endorsements plus he knows taht they can RFA him this year and then Franchise next year so he might not be able to get a LTD for 3 years
Mr_Jet Icon : (Yesterday, 05:21 PM) Clemens11/Tebow15 (soon to be Smith7) said if we had just drafted Crabtree and Nicks and kept Clemens, we'd be good.
Jetsfan0099 Icon : (Yesterday, 06:44 PM) No, he can't be Smith7
Jetsfan0099 Icon : (Yesterday, 06:44 PM) his name is reserved for garbage QBs, we don't want Geno to be bad
Jetsfan0099 Icon : (Yesterday, 06:44 PM) He can be McElroy14
extmenace Icon : (Yesterday, 06:51 PM) we're taking bridgewater next year with the number 1 pick and treating geno like a jimmy clausen.
Jetsfan0099 Icon : (Yesterday, 06:53 PM) What makes Bridgewater better than Geno?
HurricaneJet32 Icon : (Yesterday, 07:12 PM) everything
Jetsman05 Icon : (Yesterday, 07:56 PM) ^
Jetsfan0099 Icon : (Yesterday, 08:16 PM) college players always get hyped up before the draft process, just wondering what makes him so much better.
Jetsman05 Icon : (Yesterday, 08:19 PM) Stronger arm, plays in a pro system, better throwing motion, better athlete
Jetsman05 Icon : (Yesterday, 08:19 PM) there's probably nothing Geno does right now that's better than what Teddy does
SecondHandJets Icon : (Yesterday, 10:25 PM) Wouldn't it be funny with Bridgewater ends up having the type of season Barkley had?
Jetsfan0099 Icon : (Today, 07:48 AM) better athlete but never runs as well
Jetsfan0099 Icon : (Today, 07:48 AM) stronger arm but rarely throws deep
Jetsfan0099 Icon : (Today, 07:48 AM) I am trying to find this article, but Bridgewater had about the least amount of 40+ throws in college football
Jetsfan0099 Icon : (Today, 07:49 AM) I wouldn't surprise me if he wasn't viewed as highly next year. College players always get hyped up a year before the draft process. People change their opinions quickly.
Jetsman05 Icon : (Today, 07:56 AM) I'll put a good amount of money that Bridgewater is still highly regarded coming out next year.
Jetsfan0099 Icon : (Today, 08:00 AM) ok I found the chart
Jetsfan0099 Icon : (Today, 08:00 AM) Bridgewater had 0% of his passes go 40+ yards in college
Jetsfan0099 Icon : (Today, 08:02 AM) he could be, I'll wait though
Jetsfan0099 Icon : (Today, 08:02 AM) I doubt Smith will be as bad as Clausen anyways
Jetsfan0099 Icon : (Today, 08:03 AM) I remember watching Clausen in a NFL game and the guy couldn't even throw a spiral.
Jetsfan0099 Icon : (Today, 08:03 AM) Geno has been impressing teammates with how well he can spin the ball and sling it.
Jetsman05 Icon : (Today, 08:31 AM) I hope Geno turns out to be a f***ing monster

we're always talking about player's stats on this site, i thought id make a topic for people to show off their stats. for those of us who work out, this topic can be a place to show off a little....

whether it be bench or squat weight, mile or 40 times....lets hear it

obviously, we cant call anyone out on their numbers and get them to jump on the bench to prove it, so we're going on scout's honor here people.....SCOUT'S HONOR!!! rtfm.gif

as for me, i just got to 235 in bench and ive never maxed out squatting cuz if u get stuck, your screwed, but according to those calculators that are always wrong, im at 330

we TE/DEs arent exactly known for speed, so i wont even post it....but to humbe us all, a cornerback from don bosco prep up here in ramsey who went to florida state runs a 4.3 - 40, is 179 pounds and benchs something like 320 and squats around 340

I'm 26. I haven't worked out in while. Chasing my daughter around is enough workout for me. A few years ago me and my boy were into it hard for about a solid year. We were useing creatine and glutimine supplements I saw vast improvements in my 2 month. I just kept getting bigger and bigger. The only downside to creatine is after you stop it's all water retention. So you lose your size quick. My height is 6'2 and I was at 215 now i'm 205.

Man I gotta hit the gym baghead.gif

I'm 20
...and creatine is garbage, but apparently you learned that. All it does is put water in your muscles. Sure they will swell up, but that doesn't make you any stronger! So if you're just some jerkoff looking to impress the ladies, go for the creatine, otherwise, lay off it.

ps - the 'you' is not aimed at anybody, I mean like you in general...

I'm not sure I can give you stats on my maximums...but right now I'm:

Bench: 195 lbs (10 Reps)
Squat: I've had to lay off of squats because I tore my lateral miniscus in my knee and had surgery, but I still leg train, just not heavy squats...I've been forced to find other methods of training my legs.

One stat I'm particularly proud of because it just moved up is
Preacher Curls (though I'm not sure anyone cares): 115 lbs (5 Reps)

I haven't timed myself running since my knee surgery, I'll see if I can get a buddy to time me.

actually, the opposite has been the case for me. ive gotten a lot stronger and not all that much bigger. plus, i had to stop taking creatine, because i went away on vacation, then didnt have the money to renew a gym membership, and i lost about 10 lbs on my bench and 15 on my squat. i dont know when the supposed huge strength loss was gonna happen, but two months is a long time and nothing happened. 10 lbs is to be expected form anyone who stops lifting for that long.

the 10.2 100 dash is kind of questionable to me, especially if you only run a 4.9... but if you say so, it doesnt affect me one way or another...

and your calf muscles are not stronger than your quads at all... the reason you can do more on calf press than leg press is because the calves are at a mechanical advantage because of where the fulcrum is... its a 2nd class lever system, the quads are at a 3rd class lever system which isnt as efficient... its just some physics and/or biomechanics, but keep it up mr. 16

in other words (for us non-nuclear physicists lol) just look at the movement you make, its so much more distance and effort to stretch and then contract the muscle.

I looked into all of the creatine and protein to see if it was for real.

So I asked a good family friend who is a sports medicine doctor. He said creatine is totally bogus and isn't proven to do anything. The only thing it might do is help rebuild a torn muscle faster, but nothing else.

Protein is basically just for lazy people. Take your choice, eat a protein shake...or eat real food that has protein in it!? It's the same thing, but the latter choice tastes a lot better.

That's all for now.

torn muscle is from lifting. everytime you lift weights, you get small tears in your muscles and they heal and get bigger and stronger.
