Jets are doing jets related things also... THE KNICKS.
Jetsfan0099 Icon : (Yesterday, 07:49 AM) I wouldn't surprise me if he wasn't viewed as highly next year. College players always get hyped up a year before the draft process. People change their opinions quickly.
Jetsman05 Icon : (Yesterday, 07:56 AM) I'll put a good amount of money that Bridgewater is still highly regarded coming out next year.
Jetsfan0099 Icon : (Yesterday, 08:00 AM) ok I found the chart
Jetsfan0099 Icon : (Yesterday, 08:00 AM) Bridgewater had 0% of his passes go 40+ yards in college
Jetsfan0099 Icon : (Yesterday, 08:02 AM) he could be, I'll wait though
Jetsfan0099 Icon : (Yesterday, 08:02 AM) I doubt Smith will be as bad as Clausen anyways
Jetsfan0099 Icon : (Yesterday, 08:03 AM) I remember watching Clausen in a NFL game and the guy couldn't even throw a spiral.
Jetsfan0099 Icon : (Yesterday, 08:03 AM) Geno has been impressing teammates with how well he can spin the ball and sling it.
Jetsman05 Icon : (Yesterday, 08:31 AM) I hope Geno turns out to be a f***ing monster
Jetsfan115 Icon : (Yesterday, 10:52 AM) andrew luck was hyped up for like 3 years before he entered teh draft
Jetsman05 Icon : (Yesterday, 11:34 AM) tehhhh
Jetsfan0099 Icon : (Yesterday, 11:37 AM) it wasn't for 3 years and Andrew Luck is the best QB prospect to come out in years. Teddy Bridgewater most likely isn't Luck or RGIII
Jetsfan0099 Icon : (Yesterday, 11:40 AM) I've only seen Bridgewater play once. That was against Florida, I actually watched that game.
Jetsman05 Icon : (Yesterday, 12:12 PM) Teddy will be a good NFL QB I think
MikeGangGree... Icon : (Yesterday, 12:52 PM) THE KNICKS
Jetsman05 Icon : (Yesterday, 01:21 PM) THE. KNICKS.
SecondHandJets Icon : (Yesterday, 02:43 PM) Geno was the favorite to win the Heisman this time last year
SecondHandJets Icon : (Yesterday, 02:44 PM) He was also a Top 5 pick this time last year
SecondHandJets Icon : (Yesterday, 02:44 PM) If he came out in 2012, he might have gotten drafted before RG3
SecondHandJets Icon : (Yesterday, 02:56 PM) TEH KNICKS
Jetsfan0099 Icon : (Yesterday, 03:25 PM) noway he would have been drafted before RGIII
HarlemHxC814 Icon : (Yesterday, 04:00 PM) Tehhhh
Jetsfan115 Icon : (Yesterday, 04:12 PM) chuck norris said tebow is a great QB. i'm so conflicted becuase tebow sucks but on the other hand if chuck norris said it, it must be true lol
Jetsman05 Icon : (Yesterday, 09:21 PM) Geno was not the favorite to win the heisman going into the year lol
Jetsman05 Icon : (Yesterday, 09:21 PM) you don't watch college football, stop
Jetsman05 Icon : (Yesterday, 09:23 PM) He might not even of been in the second tier of players
SecondHandJets Icon : (Yesterday, 09:25 PM) I've read a ton of articles and all had him as the favorite
SecondHandJets Icon : (Yesterday, 09:25 PM) Who was the favorite then?
SecondHandJets Icon : (Yesterday, 09:27 PM) "Smith was already going to be on most Heisman preseason lists, but a 407-yard, 6-TD performance in the Orange Bowl win over Clemson only solidified him as an elite passer. He can make every throw on the field and has a plethora of talented receivers coming back. Since this team will likely be playing in the Big 12, which has had the uncanny knack for inflating quarterback numbers recently, Smith and head coach Dana Holgorsen are going to leave opposing defenses charred and crippled on most Saturdays."
SecondHandJets Icon : (Yesterday, 09:27 PM) That's from a Jan 2012 article
SecondHandJets Icon : (Yesterday, 09:27 PM) You can google shit from 14 months ago and find a f*** ton of these
SecondHandJets Icon : (Yesterday, 09:29 PM) http://news.yahoo.com/top-10-heisman-trophy-candidates-2012-heading-season-150300441--ncaaf.html

SecondHandJets Icon : (Yesterday, 09:32 PM) He was 4th according to Vegas odds in April 2012
Jetsman05 Icon : (Yesterday, 09:53 PM) 4th makes him the favorite?
Jetsman05 Icon : (Yesterday, 09:53 PM) you said he was the favorite
Jetsman05 Icon : (Yesterday, 09:53 PM) he wasn't anything near the favorite
Jetsman05 Icon : (Yesterday, 09:54 PM) he reached his pinnacle in the heisman race in the early part of last season
Jetsman05 Icon : (Yesterday, 09:54 PM) at that point he was the favorite
Jetsman05 Icon : (Yesterday, 09:56 PM) also, what a basketball game
MikeGangGree... Icon : (Yesterday, 10:21 PM) 4 point game
MikeGangGree... Icon : (Yesterday, 10:21 PM) maybe the pacers are that good
SecondHandJets Icon : (Today, 12:36 AM) I said that his time last year, he was the favorite. I misspoke. He was 3rd or 4th. He certainly wasn't "not even in the 2nd tier" like you claimed
SecondHandJets Icon : (Today, 12:36 AM) Take your medicine Matty
SecondHandJets Icon : (Today, 12:36 AM) Maybe you should watch more college football instead of talking about watching college football

Since he's been with NY haven't the Yankees not won a WS? If that is the case then most of the team haven't showed up in the playoffs considering they are always the most talented team in the league.

The whole "he doesnt show up in the playoffs" crap is redundant.

Ironically you hate ARod for the same reasons you LOVE Kobe.

Kobe has no ring on his own, he does great in the season and does not show up in the playoffs and I know what your gonna say..."The Lakers lost as a team, Kobe cant do it alone." Well you know what my man, NEITHER CAN AROD, THE MUTHA FUCKA CANT PITCH, AND APPERANTLY NEITHER CAN OUR PITCHERS THATS WHY WERE NOT WINNING WS's!

So far in the 4th inning he has ANOTHER HR and 2 RBI LOL

Oh and BTW...According to the Elias Sports Bureau, Rodriguez has hit more home runs (five) in the team's first six games than any Yankee before him.

I couldn't say it better. This is A-rod you are talking about! You obviously think that A-rod is a bum because he hasn't produced in big situations in past years. You also know nothing about the game. I am a yankee fan, but it is fans like you that give yankees fans a bad name with the whole A-rod sucks. If you were a Devil Rays fan and A-rod was on the team, would you be saying the same thing. No way. I grew up whe nthe Yanks sucked and I was hoping they would be in second or even third place. Give A-rod an f-in break. He is the 4 hitter on the (highest priced team) Yanks. There is absolutely no pressure involved with being that guy when everyone is bullshit on your every move. I admit that the media and fans have really gotten to him. This year you can see it is in eyes that he is out to prove something. He has that A-rod confidence like he had in the past with the RANGERS and MARINERS. He is amazing right now. Let's hope that mental block is gone and he takes the piano that he has been carrying around on his back off. I played college baseball and know what it is like when you are in a slump and you start 2nd guessing your gifted ability to hit. Once you second guess how good you are at the plate, you are absolute toast no matter how good an athlete you are. He takes the criticism and the b-s from the media and fans to heart for some reason. I believe that he will be MVP this year if he keeps his positive confidence up throughout the year.

And another thing Kobe, I was also a Lakers, Jets, and Yanks fan like you. Now I won't watch one NBA game because of the whole one on one no defense crap that goes on in that league. Watch college basketball if you like "real basketball". One of the main reasons for my boycott of the NBA was when 12 or so years ago the Lakers drafted a young punk from PA. He has single handed ruined my former love of the Lakers. I hate everything he does and cannot stand to watch a game he plays in. He is an arrogant, *beep*y, ball hog, who thinks the world revolves around his ass. I didn't particularly like Jordan either, but I at least respected him as a person. I don't respect Kobe one bit and would love to see what he says and does in the locker room. I guarantee he gets under his teammates skin each game and they lose respect for him kinda like TO in the NFL. Kobe= arrogant prick who can shoot and can run an NBA team into the ground. He loses the big man and guess what, nothing. WHy, because now he wants to play one on one against the whole opposing team? I say get rid of the NBA and play pay per view one on one, it is the same thing. People would pay to see Kobe vs. Nash, Dirk vs. Duncan.

I agree! great post !
Why do i have that feeling, that A-Rod will have a great year, then will leave the Yanks after this year ?

Wow no one give a sh!t if you boycot the NBA. You obviously have never watched a Laker game in your life. Kobe is a ball hog th at is a load of Sh!t. Another thing that proves you know sh!t about basketball. When Kobe gets his teammates involve they miss the damn shot. They also lose just an fyi. When Kobe has to score for the Lakers to have a chance at winning. I'm glad you respect Jordan as a person. Jordan is arrongant punk that got his father killed by him gambling problems. Hey when have you been in the Lakers locker room? Do you have a camera in there recording everthing that happens there? If you do that is just whack. Keep to posting about baseball (which I agree that was a good post) and stop posting about basketball when you say you boycotted it but you still know everything about the Lakers and Kobe.

Back on topic A-Rod has suprised me the last few games.

If the Lakers were down by one is game 7 of the NBA finals with one second left and Kobe had the last shot I would have more faith in him, then if the Yanks were in game 7 of the ws down by one bottom of the 7th inning with A-Rod batting.

You and the Lakers think alike. This is why Shaq got a title for Miami and Kobe is stuck playing .500 basketball.

Whats easier to you? Making a jumper, or hitting a baseball? I played both sports in High School and let me tell you...hittin a jumper is childs play in front of hitting a baseball.

Im done arguing with you. You obviously dont know jack shit ahout this. Your opinions are half assed with no solid reasoning. You just give your opinion and thats it....learn to debate better kiddo.

So automatically I suck at basketball? Son I will rain all over you man. Dont underestimate me. Im sure your a good player since your supposedly going pro, but you cant sit there and tell me that its easier to hit a baseball than it is to hit a jumper because its insane!

Im not gonna get into a dissing matchup with a kid my nephews age. Thats just silly. Im not trying to start beef with you or nothing, my point is that you tend to make statements without any soliditity to them. You just assume that because its your opinion, your automatically right whereas when I put my opinion, I give you concrete facts and solid information to back up my arguments.

You said ARod is a bum and I proved to you (and so has he this season) that that is dead on wrong. But then again what can I expect from you? Your the same person who thinks Kobe is better than Michael Jordan! crazy.gif

And dont tell me to grow up because at your age I did not act and articulate like a 10 year old. AKA you.

Im Out!

ok, this is the deal with ARod. He is an amazing player. He is already being called one of the best of all time. He will break Hank Arrons home run record. But as good as he is......he is one of the worst clutch players of all time. he can not come through when itr matters most. He will always put up big numbers because he gets the meaningless hits. Also, his d sucks because he really should still be playing SS. 3rd base is not where he should be playing.

So what, are you trying to say Kobe is a better player than A-Rod??? In basketball he is, but in baseball, A-Rod would own Kobe like a newb. If you're trying to say comapred to the rest of the talent in the leagues where they rank, no question who wins that, it's A-Rod. He's a top 3 player in the MLB up there with Pujols and Santana. Kobe isn't top 5 material in the NBA.
PS: A-Rod has 6 career walk off grand slams, most all time.

I wasn't saying Kobe is better then A-Rod. I was saying I have more faith in him at the end of a game more then A-Rod Pujols is the best player in baseball. A-Rod is one of the best and most talented player in baeeball. The only problem I have with him he is a distraction to the team and he does not show up in the playoffs. I actually like Nash over any player in the league, but Kobe is a Top 5 Player for sure. If I were starting a franchise, he would be my SG in a heartbeat.

A-rods 10th inning walk off HR this afternoon puts him at a league leading 10 HRs and 26 RBIs through only 14 games, possibly the best start the game of baseball has ever witnessed...thats his second walk off of the season this far..

kobeskool, stuff you say is having the adverse effect. The day you start pulling for the Thrashers they end up losing 7-0 en route to being swept, now this smack talk about A-Rod...and look where that got you.

You know this little HR streak he has going for him is only gonna last so long...Trade him now while hes got the hearts of the fans and value.

Both better than A-Rod. Plus by your assumptions, it would be a gay for a gay trade, would it not?

kobeskool, stuff you say is having the adverse effect. The day you start pulling for the Thrashers they end up losing 7-0 en route to being swept, now this smack talk about A-Rod...and look where that got you.

A-Rod sucks. This will keep the streak going.

Jordan>Kobe this will give LA the championship.
