Official Jets Madden Ratings

I think the Jets are gonna be *beep*in sweet to play with...regardless of D.Rob, (which is ok cause hes fast as shit, and what makes the DT's ill in Madden is their speed...they always beat the slow fat Olineman) Coles will be so ill to throw the bomb up to (if they show Pennington even the slightest love in the longball) and Justin Miller is a 96 speed...BAMN! thats gonna be fun to stick those two on kick return...HA! Also in last yrs madden our secondary was garbage...now they actually showed them love too! including coleman...mcgraw is shaky but fast for a safety now.

Actually I think we got undercut with these ratings. they are bascially the same as 04. Yea Robertson got shafted big time. Strait is still the same. I don't think you guys are looking at awareness. Thats the key to win games in madden besides speed. We only have 5 guys that are in the 90's. McCareins got robbed. Coles was better in 04. Chad went down a couple notches. From 92 to 89. The only real improvements i've seen is the LB's and the shocker was Cedric Houston. Although his rank isn't all that they gave him some good attributes. The SS spot is going to be a weakness. I am going to have to be Mcgraw half the time to prevent the long pass. Justin Millers speed is suspect. He's the same speed as McCareins, like c'mon. Barret is improved thats a plus. You are really going to have to mastermind some defense to keep the ball out of the endzone against certain teams.

Erik Coleman got a rating of 83, I remember ESPN naming him the best rookie safety and he had a better season than Sean Taylor who got a rating of 91, now i dont think he has more potential and talent than Sean Taylor, but he deserved at least an 87-88
Vilma rating of 88 is also proposterous, he had a much better season than most MLB's like Dan Morgan (92), Dat Nguyen (91) and won DROTY not D.J. williams (90) or Sean Taylor (91)
Dewayne Robertson rating of 83 also is off, he had a very good season for a guy who was taking double teams so jason ferguson could make plays, he deseves at least an 87-88, a guy like haynesworth gets that rating for doing crap every year
I posted this at gamefaqs also

QUOTE (Jetsfan115 @ Jul 25 2005, 05:35 PM)
Madden has no clue how to rate things and they have to make good players faster because speed is all the mattered in that game. Anyway at least its in our favor this time
Yea... It's not nessesarily Madden that picks these numbers. They are supposed to have a team of people that tracks their performance. I don't think they have an idea how to rate players.
