Jets are doing jets related things also... THE KNICKS.
SecondHandJets Icon : (Yesterday, 03:21 PM) You're not in NY. All the backpages are focused on Sanchez
SecondHandJets Icon : (Yesterday, 03:21 PM) None of the NY media even mention Cruz or Nicks
Jetsfan115 Icon : (Yesterday, 03:40 PM) nicks isn't holding out. he's injured still and taking it easy. cruz is holding out. why it isn't a big ordeal IDK. it would be for us
Jetsman05 Icon : (Yesterday, 04:02 PM) maybe because theyre not that far off.
Jetsman05 Icon : (Yesterday, 04:02 PM) Cruz wants to return back, they'll figure it out.
Jetsfan115 Icon : (Yesterday, 04:41 PM) 3 mil a year off or 30% less then cruz wants. tahst alot of money to be off
Jetsfan115 Icon : (Yesterday, 04:41 PM) cruz doens't want to leave NY cause teh extra money he'll get in endorsements plus he knows taht they can RFA him this year and then Franchise next year so he might not be able to get a LTD for 3 years
Mr_Jet Icon : (Yesterday, 05:21 PM) Clemens11/Tebow15 (soon to be Smith7) said if we had just drafted Crabtree and Nicks and kept Clemens, we'd be good.
Jetsfan0099 Icon : (Yesterday, 06:44 PM) No, he can't be Smith7
Jetsfan0099 Icon : (Yesterday, 06:44 PM) his name is reserved for garbage QBs, we don't want Geno to be bad
Jetsfan0099 Icon : (Yesterday, 06:44 PM) He can be McElroy14
extmenace Icon : (Yesterday, 06:51 PM) we're taking bridgewater next year with the number 1 pick and treating geno like a jimmy clausen.
Jetsfan0099 Icon : (Yesterday, 06:53 PM) What makes Bridgewater better than Geno?
HurricaneJet32 Icon : (Yesterday, 07:12 PM) everything
Jetsman05 Icon : (Yesterday, 07:56 PM) ^
Jetsfan0099 Icon : (Yesterday, 08:16 PM) college players always get hyped up before the draft process, just wondering what makes him so much better.
Jetsman05 Icon : (Yesterday, 08:19 PM) Stronger arm, plays in a pro system, better throwing motion, better athlete
Jetsman05 Icon : (Yesterday, 08:19 PM) there's probably nothing Geno does right now that's better than what Teddy does
SecondHandJets Icon : (Yesterday, 10:25 PM) Wouldn't it be funny with Bridgewater ends up having the type of season Barkley had?
Jetsfan0099 Icon : (Today, 07:48 AM) better athlete but never runs as well
Jetsfan0099 Icon : (Today, 07:48 AM) stronger arm but rarely throws deep
Jetsfan0099 Icon : (Today, 07:48 AM) I am trying to find this article, but Bridgewater had about the least amount of 40+ throws in college football
Jetsfan0099 Icon : (Today, 07:49 AM) I wouldn't surprise me if he wasn't viewed as highly next year. College players always get hyped up a year before the draft process. People change their opinions quickly.
Jetsman05 Icon : (Today, 07:56 AM) I'll put a good amount of money that Bridgewater is still highly regarded coming out next year.
Jetsfan0099 Icon : (Today, 08:00 AM) ok I found the chart
Jetsfan0099 Icon : (Today, 08:00 AM) Bridgewater had 0% of his passes go 40+ yards in college
Jetsfan0099 Icon : (Today, 08:02 AM) he could be, I'll wait though
Jetsfan0099 Icon : (Today, 08:02 AM) I doubt Smith will be as bad as Clausen anyways
Jetsfan0099 Icon : (Today, 08:03 AM) I remember watching Clausen in a NFL game and the guy couldn't even throw a spiral.
Jetsfan0099 Icon : (Today, 08:03 AM) Geno has been impressing teammates with how well he can spin the ball and sling it.
Jetsman05 Icon : (Today, 08:31 AM) I hope Geno turns out to be a f***ing monster
Jetsfan115 Icon : (Today, 10:52 AM) andrew luck was hyped up for like 3 years before he entered teh draft
Jetsman05 Icon : (Today, 11:34 AM) tehhhh
Jetsfan0099 Icon : (Today, 11:37 AM) it wasn't for 3 years and Andrew Luck is the best QB prospect to come out in years. Teddy Bridgewater most likely isn't Luck or RGIII
Jetsfan0099 Icon : (Today, 11:40 AM) I've only seen Bridgewater play once. That was against Florida, I actually watched that game.
Jetsman05 Icon : (Today, 12:12 PM) Teddy will be a good NFL QB I think
MikeGangGree... Icon : (Today, 12:52 PM) THE KNICKS
Jetsman05 Icon : (Today, 01:21 PM) THE. KNICKS.
SecondHandJets Icon : (Today, 02:43 PM) Geno was the favorite to win the Heisman this time last year
SecondHandJets Icon : (Today, 02:44 PM) He was also a Top 5 pick this time last year
SecondHandJets Icon : (Today, 02:44 PM) If he came out in 2012, he might have gotten drafted before RG3
SecondHandJets Icon : (Today, 02:56 PM) TEH KNICKS
Jetsfan0099 Icon : (Today, 03:25 PM) noway he would have been drafted before RGIII
HarlemHxC814 Icon : (Today, 04:00 PM) Tehhhh
Jetsfan115 Icon : (Today, 04:12 PM) chuck norris said tebow is a great QB. i'm so conflicted becuase tebow sucks but on the other hand if chuck norris said it, it must be true lol

the only surprised thing about this game is the fact that we're shut out , i knew all along it was going to be a tough tough day, to tell the truth we had more luck beating the colts OR the ravens especially when they came out of a 2 game losing streak.. .. i didn't see the game but i followed it via nfl.com and it was .. just unbelievable.. if anyone have hightlights please..[font=Arial][font=Arial][font=Arial][font=Arial][font=Arial]

they have the "lowlights" of the game up on nfl.com... http://nfl.com/video
be sure to watch it if you have any trouble falling asleep tonight.. biggrin.gif

Atleast we know that Leon Washington SHOULD be our starting RB. He had some really good runs against a really good run defense. Bottom line is we turned the ball over inside the 40 3 times and got a few crappy penalties. Put it in a blender and this is what you get. It's a young team and they'll learn, but this is what happens when you don't play mistake free football.

I'd rather we lose like we did yesterday than get beat by the odd point like last week as it is a true indication of the performance we put in. However losing by 41 is unacceptable even too a good team like the Jags.
This is a game we need to put behind us right now and get on with the season. The Dolphins game next week is huge and if we win we will gain a lot of momentum from it as the schedule after that, up until our bye, is winnable. If we lose then Detroit and Cleveland will fancy their chances against us.
If anything the result against the Jags was needed - it shows us where abouts we are at and how far we have left to go and it will serve as a real eye opener for our young team. Hopefully the team can rally around each other more now and not take a leaf out of the Giants book and blame everybody else on the team except themselves.

Bottom line, the Jets have to forget about this game and NOT let it set the tone for the rest of the season. They f'd up. No biggie. It was hard as hell to watch.

I love it when people reach conclusions based on one game. I'm sure up 41-0 the Jaguars were playing the run. Let him have a few good games before you annoint him the starting HB. Last week Pennington was the best QB in the league, now he sucks. Man, some Jet fans need to look up the word "perspective." You need to make judgements over the course of several games, not just one or two.

Hey cheif, I don't know that you were actually watching the games this season but Leon has done nothing BUT make plays. He was running very well in the 2nd and 3rd quater before it got straight out of hand against a good run defense. And don't quote me and say things about Pennington because it makes people believe that I am dissing him when I have yet to do that at all.

I mean really, who do you think should be the starter? Barlow with his negative rushing and receiving yards? Cedric Houston who's injured? Maybe Mr 2 yard average Blaylock. Man you got some nerve buddy.

I didn't see Washington do much at running back prior to this game. And like I said it's easier to gain yards when the other team is playing pass. With that being said Washington should clearly be the starter until Houston gets back. Then the Jets should run both of them relegating Barlow to spot duty. I wasn't commenting on your post in particular. I just see so many posts where people base what the Jets should do on one good or bad game.

youre the one getting all emotional with the personal attacks..i just wrote a nice response to you and you continue to talk smack..very classy..you just constantly spew negative-un educated garbage all over the boards and people dislike you because of that..no offense, but you might want to think about changing your post style if you want people to take your posts seriously or you might want to think before you post your neggative/childish garbage.

PS..i guarantee he responds to this post in an uncivilized angry manner, it seems to be the only way he knows how to get his point across ...
