did anyone read on espn insider that vernin davis ran a 4.3 at the nfl combine? if we trade abe to clevland like a rumor that was posted a day or two ago said would you guys be up for taking this guy? i think he would be huge for our offense. A TE with that kind of potential! what do you guys think

Vernon Davis is a 1st round pick and I don't think TE will be addressed. I think we should resign baker and put up with Jolly's-folly's again for 1 last year.

Mind you Vernon is a bad man. The TE position is changing like the evolution of man. These guy coming out are some superb athlete's. I like the 6'8 Lenard Pope from USC. We can get him in later rounds perhaps. I think he ran a 4.62 but with his size and athletic ability he should be a major factor for any team.
