MikeGangGree... Icon : (Yesterday, 09:39 PM) Some mocks had him top 10
MikeGangGree... Icon : (Yesterday, 09:42 PM) this guy is small
Jetsfan115 Icon : (Yesterday, 09:45 PM) Most mocks had Lee at 17 to the Falcons
Jetsfan115 Icon : (Yesterday, 09:45 PM) He's a day 1 starter for us. We've needed OLB forever
Jetsfan115 Icon : (Yesterday, 09:46 PM) Plus we generate a great rush from wilk rich and Williams
MikeGangGree... Icon : (Yesterday, 09:50 PM) I wanted Lawson bad
MikeGangGree... Icon : (Yesterday, 09:50 PM) f***ing bills
Jetsfan115 Icon : (Yesterday, 09:51 PM) Lee fills a need better
Jetsfan115 Icon : (Yesterday, 09:52 PM) I would have liked tunsil to slide to us though. After east picking great
MikeGangGree... Icon : (Yesterday, 09:52 PM) Would you take Lee over Lawson?
azjetfan Icon : (Yesterday, 09:55 PM) I'm not inspire by that pick. Not even a little
Jetsfan115 Icon : (Yesterday, 10:01 PM) Wasn't an option. Lawson was gone
Jetsfan115 Icon : (Yesterday, 10:02 PM) Lawson is more of a de. We already have too many of those. We only have 1 proven LBer and he's 32 and we run a 3-4. Lee is a day 1 starter
Jetsfan115 Icon : (Yesterday, 10:03 PM) Broncos traded up for lynch
MikeGangGree... Icon : (Yesterday, 10:41 PM) Round 1 is done
2JBallar01 Icon : (Today, 12:43 AM) He will play ILB for us.
Jetsfan115 Icon : (Today, 11:08 AM) http://nyjetsfan.com...showtopic=38865
Jetsfan115 Icon : (Today, 11:19 AM) jets tried to trade up for tunsil but the price was too high
Jetsfan0099 Icon : (Today, 05:10 PM) Tunsil will end up out of the league
Jetsfan0099 Icon : (Today, 05:12 PM) Lee isn't a pass rusher, hes a fast athletic LB. Hes probably their future at ILB, someone who can cover in the middle
Jetsfan115 Icon : (Today, 06:16 PM) jets said he's an ILB for us
Jetsfan115 Icon : (Today, 06:17 PM) If we could grab jack he would be an OLB
Jetsfan115 Icon : (Today, 06:17 PM) ttians have 3 picks in the next 13 picks
Jetsfan115 Icon : (Today, 06:33 PM) jack to jax 36th overal

San Diego Chargers offensive coordinator Cam Cameron has signed a four-year deal to become the Miami Dolphins' new head coach, ESPN.com has learned.

Figures of the deal were not available, but a 7 p.m. ET press conference was scheduled to announce the hiring.

When Cameron returned to the Dolphins' complex Friday accompanied by general manager Randy Mueller, it raised speculation the team might be on the verge of hiring him. Team owner Wayne Huizenga and chief executive Joe Bailey arrived earlier at the complex ahead of Cameron and Mueller.

Chan Gailey, also considered a strong candidate, said Friday he's staying at Georgia Tech. Gailey also interviewed for the coaching job in Pittsburgh.

Cameron has been in South Florida since Wednesday, when he began a second round of interviews. The Dolphins, looking to replace Nick Saban who left for Alabama on Jan. 3, said Thursday they hoped to make a decision by Saturday.

Timing is an issue because of next week's Senior Bowl in Mobile, Ala., where teams scout college prospects and assemble coaching staffs.

Cameron, who first interviewed with the Dolphins shortly after Saban left, became available when San Diego was eliminated from the playoffs last Sunday.

Dolphins defensive coordinator Dom Capers, former Atlanta Falcons coach Jim Mora and former Alabama coach Mike Shula, the son of ex-Dolphins coach Don Shula, also had been considered candidates to replace Saban.

Cameron was coach at his alma mater, Indiana, from 1997-2001 and has directed a high-powered attack the past five years at San Diego. The Dolphins might opt for a coach with an offensive background because a sputtering offense is a major reason Miami failed to make the playoffs the past five seasons.

The Dolphins interviewed at least 13 candidates in their most extensive coaching search since the franchise's first season in 1966.

ESPN's Chris Mortensen, ESPN.com NFL senior writer Len Pasquarelli and The Associated Press contributed to this report.

What do you guys think, threat or nonthreat? He is certainly talented, he is on a hell hole of old players on that team, should be interesting. Hopefully he sucks.

He seems a good offensive coach as he made Gates the threat he is right now, got a couple good years out of Brees who had struggled early in his career and allowed the Chargers to succeed with below average WRs. However having Tomlinson helped immensely both in terms of making Rivers first year a success and putting points on the board.
It's a good hire seeing as he has been a successful coordinator but time will tell whether it was the right hire given the fact a lot of coordinators have struggled early in their transition to HCs such as Romeo Crennel, Brad Childress (he's only had one year but got a worse record than Mike Tice - another former coordinator who mostly struggled) and Mike Mularkey. For me Mora would have been a better hire for them.
