A Band I Can't Help But Suggest Drive By Truckers

Have any of you guys ever heard of them? THey've been around for a while, but are just now getting some recognition for their last album (the Dirty South). They are a southern rock band, with a lot less country than rock, but still have a strong southern feel.

A friend of mine picked up the Dirty South on a whim a few months back, and we were blown away. THen they came to town two weeks ago, it was the best show I've ever been to. You could tell all the band members were laying it all out and having a really good time, along with the crowd.

Anyway, these guys are one of the best "new" bands I've heard in a long while, so if anyone here is into that sort of thing try and check them out.

I just checked out "people who died" its pretty cool... im currently downloading "the living bubba" and possibly "too much sex, too little jesus"
its all i could find through a web search... But thanks for the suggestion
