Jets are doing jets related things also... THE KNICKS.
ganggreen2003 Icon : (Yesterday, 12:04 PM) already back to doing what he did last season THROWING INT's
ganggreen2003 Icon : (Yesterday, 12:04 PM) sucks that Garrard retired but I'd rather suffer with Geno going through growing pains than keeping Sanchez under center in 2013
Jetsman05 Icon : (Yesterday, 12:33 PM) haha gg03 throwing in the towel on sanch!
mgjetman Icon : (Yesterday, 01:37 PM) What a way to make sporrts center already, Mark......
mgjetman Icon : (Yesterday, 01:39 PM) Sanch owns the #1 blooper of all time with that butt fumble also and to make matters worse he threw it right to a friggin Pat...
Jetsfan115 Icon : (Yesterday, 01:53 PM) buttfumble on thanksgiving was the low point of his career
Jetsfan0099 Icon : (Yesterday, 01:55 PM) Teammates talking shut about Sanchez
SecondHandJets Icon : (Yesterday, 02:11 PM) In case you haven't heard, because why would anyone report on the Giants, Nicks is also holding out
SecondHandJets Icon : (Yesterday, 02:11 PM) That makes both Cruz and Nicks.
SecondHandJets Icon : (Yesterday, 02:11 PM) But who cares, Sanchez threw 3 "interceptions"!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Jetsman05 Icon : (Yesterday, 02:59 PM) ?
Jetsman05 Icon : (Yesterday, 02:59 PM) why would we give a f*** about the Giants?
santana Icon : (Yesterday, 03:04 PM) gg03 jimmies are riled
SecondHandJets Icon : (Yesterday, 03:21 PM) You're not in NY. All the backpages are focused on Sanchez
SecondHandJets Icon : (Yesterday, 03:21 PM) None of the NY media even mention Cruz or Nicks
Jetsfan115 Icon : (Yesterday, 03:40 PM) nicks isn't holding out. he's injured still and taking it easy. cruz is holding out. why it isn't a big ordeal IDK. it would be for us
Jetsman05 Icon : (Yesterday, 04:02 PM) maybe because theyre not that far off.
Jetsman05 Icon : (Yesterday, 04:02 PM) Cruz wants to return back, they'll figure it out.
Jetsfan115 Icon : (Yesterday, 04:41 PM) 3 mil a year off or 30% less then cruz wants. tahst alot of money to be off
Jetsfan115 Icon : (Yesterday, 04:41 PM) cruz doens't want to leave NY cause teh extra money he'll get in endorsements plus he knows taht they can RFA him this year and then Franchise next year so he might not be able to get a LTD for 3 years
Mr_Jet Icon : (Yesterday, 05:21 PM) Clemens11/Tebow15 (soon to be Smith7) said if we had just drafted Crabtree and Nicks and kept Clemens, we'd be good.
Jetsfan0099 Icon : (Yesterday, 06:44 PM) No, he can't be Smith7
Jetsfan0099 Icon : (Yesterday, 06:44 PM) his name is reserved for garbage QBs, we don't want Geno to be bad
Jetsfan0099 Icon : (Yesterday, 06:44 PM) He can be McElroy14
extmenace Icon : (Yesterday, 06:51 PM) we're taking bridgewater next year with the number 1 pick and treating geno like a jimmy clausen.
Jetsfan0099 Icon : (Yesterday, 06:53 PM) What makes Bridgewater better than Geno?
HurricaneJet32 Icon : (Yesterday, 07:12 PM) everything
Jetsman05 Icon : (Yesterday, 07:56 PM) ^
Jetsfan0099 Icon : (Yesterday, 08:16 PM) college players always get hyped up before the draft process, just wondering what makes him so much better.
Jetsman05 Icon : (Yesterday, 08:19 PM) Stronger arm, plays in a pro system, better throwing motion, better athlete
Jetsman05 Icon : (Yesterday, 08:19 PM) there's probably nothing Geno does right now that's better than what Teddy does
SecondHandJets Icon : (Yesterday, 10:25 PM) Wouldn't it be funny with Bridgewater ends up having the type of season Barkley had?
Jetsfan0099 Icon : (Today, 07:48 AM) better athlete but never runs as well
Jetsfan0099 Icon : (Today, 07:48 AM) stronger arm but rarely throws deep
Jetsfan0099 Icon : (Today, 07:48 AM) I am trying to find this article, but Bridgewater had about the least amount of 40+ throws in college football
Jetsfan0099 Icon : (Today, 07:49 AM) I wouldn't surprise me if he wasn't viewed as highly next year. College players always get hyped up a year before the draft process. People change their opinions quickly.
Jetsman05 Icon : (Today, 07:56 AM) I'll put a good amount of money that Bridgewater is still highly regarded coming out next year.
Jetsfan0099 Icon : (Today, 08:00 AM) ok I found the chart
Jetsfan0099 Icon : (Today, 08:00 AM) Bridgewater had 0% of his passes go 40+ yards in college
Jetsfan0099 Icon : (Today, 08:02 AM) he could be, I'll wait though
Jetsfan0099 Icon : (Today, 08:02 AM) I doubt Smith will be as bad as Clausen anyways
Jetsfan0099 Icon : (Today, 08:03 AM) I remember watching Clausen in a NFL game and the guy couldn't even throw a spiral.
Jetsfan0099 Icon : (Today, 08:03 AM) Geno has been impressing teammates with how well he can spin the ball and sling it.
Jetsman05 Icon : (Today, 08:31 AM) I hope Geno turns out to be a f***ing monster
Jetsfan115 Icon : (Today, 10:52 AM) andrew luck was hyped up for like 3 years before he entered teh draft

it sounds like it may be a nerve impingement... i unfortunately do not know all of the signs and symptoms of a specific diagnosis, nor would i be able to diagnose you without an evaluation, but it def. sounds like something with your nerve... i hope its not sciatica biggrin.gif... just kidding, i doubt it is, that is for older and gayer people (i stereotype not, gay men are more likely to get sciatica for reasons not discussed here)

i would recommend heat to relax it, try to watch how you sleep (as hard as that is)... pretty much do not do anything that can impinge it, im sure your track coach can aid you and any training staff you may have at your access... as far as stretches make sure you are warm before you run and stretch each muscle for at least 15 seconds and i dont know your level of experience but even the best trained athletes need to be careful with ballistic stretch (stretch where you bounce back and forth), you may want to do more static stretching with gradual progression (slow stretch where you hold the stretch as deep as you can and breathe and progress to a deeper stretch)
types of stretching:
http://www.bath.ac.u...retching_4.html

if it hurts before the meet i would recommend not running because you could damage it further (if it is nerve that could be permanent, i dont want to scare you because i do not know exactly what you have, but it is a possibility) and if it is a muscle you could rupture it
to avoid this, heat as much as you can... i assume it was not one particular thing that caused you to have this pain like a "trauma" but more of a gradual build up, so heating is the best bet... you should ice if it was a traumatic event that you can identify, but only within 48 hours of the injury happening... if you use ice, a good thing to do at home is use a bag of vegetables like peas or corn out of the fridge, they form-fit better... another idea is to put a hole in a tennis ball and fill it with water and freeze it so you can masage yourself rather easily with the ice... but that is if ice is necessary

more likely than not heat is your best bet... good luck in any event, run forrest run!

It could be arthritis, do you dive a lot of the knee? It can cause arthritis, so stay somehwhat aware of that.

arthiritis is localized youngster... it would not be shooting all the way from a knee to the back... plus arthritis requires many years of beating on the joints and most people still in sports do not experience it that greatly... especially younger people...
in any event it is not arthritis i can almost gaurantee that, and what does "dive a lot of the knee" mean? where you going with that man? keep swinging though lil nom, you learn each day... it only makes you stronger

and jetsfreak i hope anything i said helped, hit me back with any other q's you may have

I meant diving or hitting it, like falling off a bike hard or diving on it in baseball. It can happen.

it is very unlikley that it wold be arthritis, i know it is possible but a single trauma or even a few would not lead to the breakdown of bone that is arthritis... improbable but not impossible

jeez, man 1,003 posts... anyway, with my limited medical knowledge i DO know, this isnt about ego or anything, but the symptoms he has described cannot be arthritis or a bruise... there could be a bruised muscle but that would be a secondary injury and his description does not warrant it... biggrin.gif
