Barry Bonds how long?

He's not coming back because there is just about now way that he could use steroids this time around.
I used to be a fan of Bonds, but I've had to turn my back on those days as it's become blatantly obvious that he's a cheater. His attitude never bothered me that much as I figured that I probably wouldn't be friendly with the media either if I were a big league ballplayer, but he's really crossed the line in the last year and a half or so, and I think that it would be wise for him to stay as far away from the game as possible.

Damn shame cause he is so close to
I hope that he doesn't come back because it would not be fair to Hank Aaron for someone who has been juiced up on steroids for a few seasons to break his record.
It's a shame that Griffey has been hurt so much because he would have probably broken it already if not for the injuries.

Yea, and not only that, but he doesn't care about the fans, and hes such an idiot when he does interviews, he was got, and now hes afraid he'll show up playing how he really is, shitty, and every1 will know, hopefully Ruth and Aaron will be safe...and if one day I'm comishiner, Mays will be number 3
But if Bonds never came back, I'd be happy, but this talk about him being the greatest ever pisses me off, and I'll write a thread about that later, but as of no
No Bonds=No Problems

I think that Bonds will be in the Hall of Fame, simply because he was still a pretty good ball player before he went on the juice. I think he'll get in for that, even though I may not agree with it, but I do think that he should get some recognition for the time before he started taking steroids. Maybe he could go in with an asterisk.
But, you're right, he's nowhere close to being the best ever. Steroids took him from being a surefire hall of famer to a borderline entry, just like it did with Mark McGwire (who should not be in the Hall of Fame at all after his steroid usage. At least Bonds could field, all McGwire could do was hit).
