Girl Help...

Alright...so i was with my girl for about 4-5 months. I met her last summer, and we got to be pretty good friends before we started dating. We started to date in December of 05. She broke up with me because partly she said she didn't want to depend on guys to make her happy, and needed time to sort herself out. I had issues with that, and we got into a huge fight about it. Well, we've gotten into a couple of huge fights but still, we've been pretty cool. The other part was that she didn't want to "hold me back" when I went to college. When I was going through the college process, my #1 choice was #10 on her list, but when I got into my #1, that same school shot up on her list to #2. I don't think she'd go there simply because I'm going, but all my friends think thats why shes going. What do you guys think?
It's weird tho, because we still know we both like eachother, and we say "I love you" to eachother enough. It's not an "I love you" as we both want eachother (at least i dont really think) but it's more of a friend type thing as she considers me and my best friend her "big brothers." Eh, she won't say it, and neither will I, but if we're at the same school, then we'll probably end up going out again. I mean, I bought her this necklace that was $170 and before I head to college I want to give it to her. My boys are like "son, ur whipped, leave the bitch alone", but it's really from brother to sister at this point. Again...thoughts on this too and any other comments?

Yeah the whole college thing really screws it up, not looking forward to that. But one thing aout college is moving on and meeting new people, and that includes girls. If I'm going out with anyone by this time next year, I'll break up with her, just so that I'm not commited and feeling uilty if I'm partying or something.
I'm confused, you bought her a $170 necklace, and the relationship is considered brother-and-sister? The most I've spent on a gift for my sister was like 30 bucks, and on a chick Iliked 80 dollars. I say if you bought her something over $50, that wasn't dinner, then there is something going on with you two beyond friendship

You two are "comfortable" together. With so much change coming for both of you with college, etc., she is just trying to hold onto some stability.
Do what is best for you because a lot can happen to make you regret "depending on a girl to make you happy."

HHF, there are many things you should consider to step your game up.
1. Lose the Carlton act.
I mean what fly hunny is gonna want a 5 foot cat that looks like that and listens to Tom Jones.
2. Learn to Dance because this doesn't count http://youtube.com/watch?v=aTTyWzJSBxw
3. Learn to corperate when a woman wants you and never sue a woman for sexual harrasement. http://youtube.com/watch?v=eqVVvvnt98o
4. If you can't do step 1-3 you're hopeless.
