azjetfan Icon : (Yesterday, 02:36 PM) I need some entertainment. Where is 2003.
azjetfan Icon : (Yesterday, 02:37 PM) Maybe we can get SDubb to return from the dead. Did Santana piss him off or something?
azjetfan Icon : (Yesterday, 02:37 PM) Maybe we can really get a blast from the past and get signal zero and all his chronies
Jetsfan0099 Icon : (Yesterday, 04:20 PM) Reports are that Jim Harbaugh will be fired at the end of the season. Woody better go all in after him
Jetsfan0099 Icon : (Yesterday, 04:21 PM) Jay Glazer is reporting this, he usually money
santana Icon : (Yesterday, 04:21 PM) I think glazer also said the bears were looking at harbaugh
Jetsfan0099 Icon : (Yesterday, 04:38 PM) @MMehtaNYDN 2m2 minutes ago
Sources: Charley Casserly will be 1 of 2 consultants spearheading the Jets GM/HC search (assuming Idzik is gone). #nyj
Jetsfan0099 Icon : (Yesterday, 04:38 PM) So it's 2 consultants that Woody will be leaning on once he fires Idzik.
Jetsfan0099 Icon : (Yesterday, 04:39 PM) Why would he hire these guys f he wasn't going to fire Idzik?
azjetfan Icon : (Yesterday, 04:56 PM) I am surprised Idzik is not gone already
azjetfan Icon : (Yesterday, 04:57 PM) He is as good as gone.
Jetsfan0099 Icon : (Yesterday, 08:21 PM) Nick Mangold only Jet voted to probowl
Jetsfan0099 Icon : (Yesterday, 08:21 PM) Richardson, Wilkerson, Ferguson, and Ivory are alternates
Jetsfan0099 Icon : (Yesterday, 10:33 PM) The Jets are also bringing in Ron Wolf as a consultant with Charlie Casserly.
Jetsfan0099 Icon : (Yesterday, 10:51 PM) Jets should make Scot McCloughan their next GM> Guy had a alcohol problem and that's what knocked him out, but hes a great talent evaluator and wants a second chance.
azjetfan Icon : (Yesterday, 11:54 PM) No Richardson or Wilkerson in the PB? Wow.
santana Icon : (Yesterday, 11:56 PM) I don't mind seeing the bills defense get some love
santana Icon : (Yesterday, 11:57 PM) dareus and mario williams etc
santana Icon : (Yesterday, 11:57 PM) kyle williams
azjetfan Icon : (Yesterday, 11:58 PM) I think the D Ryan plays makes it hard for some to get in.

santana Icon : (Yesterday, 11:59 PM) media wasnt exactly praising the jets at any point either
santana Icon : (Yesterday, 11:59 PM) it was fairly negative throughout the year
azjetfan Icon : (Today, 12:00 AM) Yea. The PB is a popularity contest.
azjetfan Icon : (Today, 12:00 AM) Consideri g what the D had to do to protect that secondary it's impressive they did as well as they did.
ROBJETS Icon : (Today, 12:01 AM) You might want to re-read my post and change your comment AZ
ROBJETS Icon : (Today, 12:01 AM) All of his sucess was before the slalry cap
ROBJETS Icon : (Today, 12:01 AM) salary
santana Icon : (Today, 12:02 AM) I hope the jets sit some players this week
santana Icon : (Today, 12:03 AM) I don't want to see mangold or anyone really get injured
santana Icon : (Today, 12:03 AM) injury list is getting long
ROBJETS Icon : (Today, 12:04 AM) From 1965- 1985 the Cowboys never had a losing season. Thats the kind of impact no salary cap had for the rich teams
santana Icon : (Today, 12:06 AM) for more research see ny yankees
ROBJETS Icon : (Today, 12:15 AM) I hear you and MLB still doesnt have a salary cap. Just luxry tax
ROBJETS Icon : (Today, 12:16 AM) luxury
ROBJETS Icon : (Today, 12:41 AM) And speaking of no salary cap that`s why the Yankees are the 4th richest team in all of pro sports in the world so they can buy any player they want with no salary cap in place. The other top three richest teams are European soccer teams
santana Icon : (Today, 12:56 AM) hala madrid
Mr_Jet Icon : (Today, 12:58 AM) How many times have the Yankees won the World Series in the last 10 years? Once?
santana Icon : (Today, 01:01 AM) 07 wasnt it
santana Icon : (Today, 01:02 AM) 09
santana Icon : (Today, 01:10 AM) lack of OBJ on this probowl list
HarlemHxC814 Icon : (Today, 05:58 AM) There's a significant lack of Favre, too
HarlemHxC814 Icon : (Today, 05:59 AM) Also a lack of Raul
HarlemHxC814 Icon : (Today, 05:59 AM) HALA RAUL
Jetsfan0099 Icon : (Today, 07:38 AM) Richardson and Wilkerson are both better than Kyle Williams

T.J. says he'll boycott the Madden game
Posted by Mike Florio on July 21, 2009 6:35 AM ET

Seahawks receiver T.J. Houshmandzadeh surely believes that becoming an unrestricted free agent is one of the best things that ever could have happened to him.

In hindsight, it could end up being one of the worst.

His status as a free agent, his tour of various teams, and his departure from Cincinnati for Seattle has caused the media to pay more attention to him than ever before.

And the more he talks, the more he comes off as a guy who simply doesn't get it.

Most recently, Houshmandzadeh told Colin Cowherd of ESPN Radio that he'll boycott the 2010 version of the Madden video game, because Houshmandzadeh doesn't like the rating that has been assigned to him.

"I understand I averaged 10 yards a catch, but it's the offense, not me," Houshmandzadeh said, via Mike Sando of ESPN.com. "I'm not playing Madden no more until they get my rating right. . . . I used to be the best in the world at Madden. I'm going to miss not playing it, but until they do me right, I'm not playing it any more."

When we saw those words, we assumed that Houshmandzadeh had received a rating in the low 80s, possibly in the upper 70s.

We were wrong. Per Sando, he's a 91. And that's the sixth highest wideout rating in the NFC.

Specifically, Houshmandzadeh trails only Larry Fitzgerald (99), Steve Smith (97), Anquan Boldin (94), Roddy White (93), and Calvin Johnson (92).

It's sounds about right to us; we'd take any of those guys before Houshmandzadeh. (And we say that knowing full well that T.J.'s response might be to say that he's "not coming here no more.") Actually, given the distinct possibility that Houshmandzadeh will be the next in a line of No. 2 wideouts who couldn't perform at a sufficient level as a No. 1 target, the rating is probably higher than it should be.

And if he wants the number to be even higher next year, all he has to do is make good on his vow from last month.

"I just want to let everyone know that Matt Hasselbeck and I will be leading the Seahawks to the playoffs this season," Houshmandzadeh told Sporting News. "And we'll be going to the Pro Bowl as a tandem. We're both going to have top five seasons: He'll have a top five quarterback season, and I'll have a top five receiving season. I'll put up stats I've never had before yardswise because they're allowing me to be a complete receiver."

In our view, T.J. is setting himself up for a dramatic failure. To make matters worse, his boasting, which isn't nearly as engaging or humorous as former teammate Chad Ochocinco's stick, is going to persuade otherwise neutral observers to root against Houshmandzadeh.

Haha when he said boycott I thought he meant he wouldnt let them use his name in the future. I didn't realize he meant he'd stopp playing. So much for leverage.

Douche-manhenota has got to be kidding right? Is he that media starved out in Seattle?
I will not be forgotten. This is my time to shine. I've got the scars to prove it. Only the strong survive.

When someone annoys u, it takes 42 muscles in ur face 2 frown. BUT, it only takes 4 muscles 2 extend ur arm & b!tch-slap that mother@*?!&! upside the head!!

He needs to get some perspective on life. If a rating in Madden is what he strives for in life, I feel sorry for him.
